My Grandmother, Mary Rintoul, painted these ships in watercolor. The painting hangs in my home today and was always one of my favorites. Thank you for the video!
You have the perfect voice & dictation for these stories which are enthralling & refreshing in their absence of blasphemy and/or vulgar language! The stories are engaging!
@@rezzer7918I think you meant ‘well written’ not ‘well spoken’ as he has employed written form but yes I completely agree with your assessment about this comment - patronising knob
Love your channel, your voice and your choice of stories. I actually spent hours installing ad-block ( I,m not very computer wise) to enjoy you…the amount of ads is shameful….so thank you.
@davidwhite7294 Might I ask which one you installed & if it functioned well? I've been leary but it's getting ridiculous, i didn't mind as it seemed fair exchange. But if my hands are full ads drone on 'forever'.. I'd rather click one here & there to pay my dues 😊
this I found astonishing, unexpected, moving, disagreeable, and claustrophobic, perversely wholesome, must be some victorian virus. Hapless hero like the other characters always two feet in the air. My oh my and out of some hat the prince of everywhere and no place appears to set things right just like that. And all presented in that wonderful way so widely commented on. thrilling
the story is so excessively 'literary'.....the whole story is completely contrived and insufferable and ridiculous but elegantly written and internally consistent and it has no actual action of any kind....its basically a self-induced moral quandary in the head of an intensely imaginative romantic like Pip in Great Expectations.........well narrated and flawlessly performed.

I think you meant 'diction' not "dictation", but yeah I completely agree with your well spoken assessment about this narration.

@@adriancaldwellOne could also use the written form, "patronizing" knob. 😂
Just kidding, just kidding!! Don't roast me...I googled it! 😅
@@marilynwashburn4480 haha I’m uk so patronise not patronize
@@adriancaldwell There are so many differences! I love it! Hopefully, I can visit the U.K. someday! ❤️🇬🇧

Thank you very much ♥️
This narrator did ‘THE POTATO FACTORY’. He is excellent!
Way too many commercials …… could not enjoy this.
The ads totally ruined this great wee story

Excellent but very abrupt ending.
Why the horribly long advertisements ?
Right??
Use a browser with an ad blocker.
Because people giving their time and talents to projects like this need to make money?
Too many ads - disrupts the story flow
It's not their fault you don't know how to use an ad blocker.

What consequences ? Click bait !
Ugh 😫!
🤔
🤔 personally I thought the reading style was like AI and brash with little emotions,😔 sorry but not for me 🥱
Difficult to listen to---so many odd stresses. Pity.
Ads
It's crazy how few people know what an ad blocker is.
