📖 Extraordinary reading of R.L.S's story by you Mr. Lane.📚
What??
Whaaat??
I was here for the whole ride, enjoyed every stinkin exhilarating moment, until that abrupt ending.😲
That aside, I've fallen in love with Robert Louis Stevenson, despite his shortcomings. That, and I saw there was a Part 2. There'd better be, FFS.😉
Thanks so much for an outstanding reading. Liked, subbed & all the rest.
Great plot, exceptionally written and superbly narrated sir.
This was my second tale in your series of this author and I loved every twist and turn.
I am eager to listen to the third, thank you 🙏
When he wasn’t writing fiction, Stevenson was impressively progressive and intellectual.
A good story, and an excellent reading 48:54
Always love a happy ending, thank you
It's not over yet
Excellent short story, thank you.
There's more to come
24/7 'ten. Brilliant reading too. Secondly. Substitute for the happy ending 'Effects of Laziness' poem James Clarence Mangan.
Thanks!
Thank you very much!
I do NOT feel sorry for Harry.
Turns out harry was gay
Stevenson has a flair for story but obscures it in a flood of convoluted and overwrought Victorian prose. If one can dig through the tonnage if verbiage, there's a story in there somewhere. But it's a bit tiresome to do so. Well narrated, even so.
