    I am currently working on a Tamiya Porsche 911 Turbo 88 and doing all these things. I did find a good file for a complete 911 turbo engine that I could 3D resin print, and it seems perfect.

    Gorgeous work! I'm curious, are you interested to make extra equipment for this car too? (warning triangle, extinguisher, first aid, spare wheel, bottle of oil, etc) Could be interesting details for the build in future episodes :)

    Thank You for posting this build. I have the 1990's Toyota Supra I want to do this sort of thing to but, am weary especially of the hatch back.

    Brilliant. You make it all look so easy. 😅 Seems the time you used shows patience is key when doing such intricate work. I am wondering, the styrene panels you make for inside, do you make a template first using tape or paper? I don’t think you can just guess the shape and cut it out that perfectly.

      First of all thank you for your appreciation
      Some of the plastic sheets in the car are made from paper cards as temporary templates .Some are pasted with tape on the places to be copied, and the prototypes are scanned with a pencil but some of them were just made based on estimates. Of course, many of them failed.

    I love the creation of the hinge on the bonnet. I tried this myself once out of aluminum plate, but couldn't get it to properly operate. Yours seems to work very nice. Did you manage to do that in 1 try?

    • @UncleWickyStudio
      @UncleWickyStudio  9 месяцев назад +3

      Yes, at first I used 0.3mm plastic sheet to make the hinge, but it turned out that the structure was not strong enough to withstand the movements of the bonnet . I tried several methods and thought about giving up. Finally, I used a 1mm beam to make connecting rods . This seems to slove the problem.
