I've had this exact kit laying around for 20 years. I remember my dad building one in the 70's. Gonna finally tackle this project thanks to your content. Great stuff!
I used to build 40 years old Porsche 934 RSR kit last year. Parts are starting to lose their toughness, especially the rubber parts, but I'm glad I was able to inspire you to build it. Enjoy your build and thanks for watching!
Omg! When you had to have a 935. THE car of the late '70s. I so wanted this kit. Thanks for doing this so I could vicariously enjoy this model (I still want one, lol.)
I have had this kit lying around for 25 years. Think mine had a Jacky Ickx decal on the drivers side. Partially assembled, might get it out and finished off, now my kids have left home😊
And again i just can say that you are building absolute peaces of art. Your Videos are also very enjoyable! I also love these retro cars! :) Thanks again
Fantastic work like always my friend. Well done as the 935 is already looking great with your super clean work. Looking forward for Part 2, keep up the great work.
Start of another work of art mate, looks like the transfers were a nightmare to put on the car, especially the side ones, thank god for micro-set and micro-sol to sort of help Love and peace from Ireland
I seem to recall that parts of that kit were used by the modelmaker that worked on Star Wars. A colleague of mine - crazy in a way - bought one of these for hilarious amounts of money and basically made mounds of some parts so he could use them in his replica Star Wars models….
Hey is that a RSR Turbo Martini racing ? I build mine on the 90s , my dad have this one and the F40 GT2 around before he lose his vision so I build them for him and after so long he still have them on display
8:46 what brand is this sander you were using here? I have a lot of injuries on my hands and its very hard for me to use regular sand paper, so I’ve been looking for a good robotic sander but all of them look too cheap, and the one you use here looks like a nice quality one, I’d like to check it out and see if I want to buy it. Cheers
I got mine from my local shopping app. It’s cheap and made in China but you can try this, I think this one gonna be better than mine. www.amazon.com/MicroLux-Reciprocating-Precision-Woodworking-strokes/dp/B07QZSNNQC

Hopefully it turns out successful and not a mess considering your sentiments on how long it has been around you.

Glad you liked it! Tamiya has re-produced this kit. It is no longer a rare kit and you should be able to find it at your local hobby shop.
I can hear Optimus now "Awwww Jazz"
And the original G1 voice of Jazz crying out "Nice!"
The close up of the decals shows the Italian company Cartograf that makes the decals for virtually every kit makers
It's a high quality decal, I love it.
I just finished the Tamiya 1/12 Porsche 934 jager kit and loved it. Fantastic kit.
Yeah, This kit is one of the best kits Tamiya has produced.
@@OMGscaleworks Great job by the way!

Yes, it gave me a lot of fun to build too. 😊
I built this kit about 13 years ago. Great fit and a lot of fun.
Yes, I agree! This is one of the best kit for me.

Я собирал такую. Очень понравилась модель. Впечатления, после сборки, не передать словами!
Woww, glad you like it and thanks for watching!
I love the cars Porsche was producing in the 80s. Especially the racers and rally cars.
Me either! 😊

I really appreciate your comments and I would like to thank you for always following my work.
This Porsche is gonna be a beauty whit your skills. Good luck whit this build!!
Thank you so much Rinaldo. I’ll do my best! 😉

Thanks a lot Karl. This build will be available in 3 parts because of its many details 😊
I couldn't afford this kit when it was released, but I got it when it was resold. I would like to finish my work based on your work, which I respect.
I am honored that you gave me your respect, I hope you enjoy building your kit.

Im so happy your building this, i bought it during the recent re-issue
Re-issue kit are very good. They come with PE and nice quality decal make me feel more enjoy to build it. 👍🏼
I found myself holding my breath so much.
I did the same thing as you when I built it. 😆

Hi. Great job. Question. Which type (grain) of sandpaper do you use for primer? Thanks
Thanks, it’s #3000

@@OMGscaleworks ok, thank you sir
@@SamRK-1000 Dspiae also makes one, branded as the ES-A. You have to buy the heads separate but it comes out to about the same cost
Hello! What glue do you use to glue the pieces together? And does it set fast?
It’s CA Glue (super glue) but low fogging type. You can also use BSI super glue.
@@OMGscaleworks Thank you!!! You are amazing at building these model kits, i can only hope that one day i will be as good as you!!
@@vineurmom1263 Of course, you or anyone can do it, if you have enough time and patience. 😉

First comment before on-air 😁
You should have shown the struggle with that one decal and how you got it to set properly. It got difficult then you skip to the next one.
Okay, I think I'll make a video that specifically talks about water decals, separate from the regular build video. What do you think?
@@OMGscaleworks sure that would be nice. You do an outstanding job.
question... no primer? thanks
Grey primer at first, you can see in this video. 😊
May I ask what is the black bottle wiping the water sticker mark in the video? Where to buy?
This is prototype cleaner solution by www.mangapromix.com I’m not sure is it available for sale now? Maybe you can asking them via email.
It's so big!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Yeah! I have to expand my workbench for it! 😁
I have photos of me with the real thing in the pits at Silverstone for its first showing.
Woww, That would be a great moment. 😍
Great video but that crinkling of the wrappers is annoying. turn sound off when doing that
Thank you so much. I’ll consider reducing it. Thanks again for your suggestion. 😊
Great to see females as urself building these models.
The most annoying thing in ASMR video is the sound of plastic bag
