This story never fails to get an actual laugh out of me
100% that lady went to a nursing home for rehab and died of pneumonia
I had a bad reaction on my first suicide attempt call as a trainee EMT. The guy got divorce papers from his wife and ended up stabbing himself in the L ventricle with a steak knife. We found the guy sitting on his front steps semi conscious. I'm usually good with gore but something about feeling the pulse through the handle while we stabilized it was terrible.
Goddamn that's insane man, I don't think I would've reacted any better given the nature of the situation.

Stuff like that isn't ever easy. I know. During my fire department clinical as an EMT trainee, my first and only call of the day after several false alarms was a guy who almost died from smoking a ton of fentanyl. We saved him, thankfully, and I'm usually fine with the idea of drug overdoses for the most part, but seeing it physically in front of me immediately reminded me of my cousin, who passed from a heroin/fentanyl overdose in 2017, and it took me a while after my clinical to really come to terms with it.
Metalworking machinery is no joke. I'm about ⅓ through trade school to becoming a machinist, and those lathes and mills command respect. I keep my hair tied up and wear a bandana on top.
No doubt, I worked for a metal fabrication plant before and it's easy to lop off fingers on those presses if you're not paying 100% attention on your work.
Yup and no jewelry, watches, or baggy clothing. And let’s not forget standing to the side when starting pedestal grinders.
Shoutout to you machines is scary I made a stupid choice once using a panel saw and ended up about two feet way from everything below my right knee almost exploding from a chunk of stray aluminum. Shit was like 2 years ago and still spooks me to think about

The best part of this story is Wolf's face while Taylor is telling it.
Not a kid burnt with grease. But i had a kid in my elementary school that got set on fire by a space heater. He had the special shirt and pants.
Title is about Taylor's story, meanwhile ANYTIME Kyle shares a story, he steals the show. His stories about living in Georgia on his dad's farm are so damn funny. My favorite is the story of his dad's farmhand shitting in his dad's private bathroom. Hilarious.
