I remember when I lived in Hollywood. You really would hear those choppers all the time. There was one night they were particularly close to the apartment building I lived in. My neighbors, roommate, and I roll to the complex's parking lot and the cop in the chopper says over the intercom "Go back inside!!!"...like being outside was illegal...fuck the pigs maaaaan!

This was hilarious! I'm glad Woody is alright. I had the police knock on my door at 3am once and obviously, not knowing who it was, I grabbed a gun too before going to the door. I've got glass on my front door and immediately when I got close, I heard *"[insert county name] POLICE DEPARTMENT, PUT THE FUCKING GUN DOWN NOW!"* and I could see the flashlight on their guns shining on me so knew they were pointed at me. I very slowly put the gun on the ground with my hands up then walked over to the door. I opened the door and they actually were stupid enough to ask me, "Why the hell did you have a gun?!?" and the only thing I could think was to answer their question with another question, "Why are you guys banging on my door at 3 in the fkn morning?!?" Long story short, some neighbor beat his wife and left before they showed up and because my garage door wasn't completely closed, they thought he was hiding inside it. As usual, they got pissed cuz I refused to let them search it.
It's actually a much crazier, longer story but this is the short version. My stupid ass friend thought he had a warrant and I saw him running into the woods behind them while they were laser focused on me once I got outside. He also had some items he wasn't supposed to have and was throwing them into bushes every few feet like some drugged out Easter bunny! With cops today, I'm amazed that I wasn't shot, I'll give them credit for not doing that. I am however still amazed that they had to ask why someone would grab a gun when an unknown person or people are banging on their door at 3 in the fkn morning smh!
Waste of taxpayers money. 2k an hour to fly the helicopter.
This was at minimum a 4 hour ordeal of helicopter flying
