There is next to no romantic chemistry or implications between any of the characters in this franchise, which means all ships are valid. After the end of Odyssey, I'd love to see Peach with Daisy. I honestly think a big reason for this ship (besides monster fucker vibes and just how cute the contrast is) is the wish fulfillment for these two characters. Bowser just wants a spouse to keep him company, somebody he can be venerable with. Unfortunately he’s totally ruined that with Peach by being pushy. He just likes the idea of married life with somebody much more kind and sweet than him. Luigi always feels like he’s in his brother’s heroic shadow, watching him get the girl just about every day of the week. Not only scoring a big powerful monarch but one that seems impossible to expose the sensitive side of is a power move for him.

Also I showed it to a friend and they told me "but luigi is human and bowser is some sort of giant turtle dragon" so I told them "yeah but bowser frequently kidnaps peach and even tried to marry her by force and no one thought it was that weird"

Fun fact, I read in Shipping Wiki is that Bowuigi happen because there's a scene of Luigi disguised as Peach being captured by Bowser in the manga. That's why there are fics about that scene.

I honestly think a big reason for this ship (besides monster fucker vibes and just how cute the contrast is) is the wish fulfillment for these two characters. Bowser just wants a spouse to keep him company, somebody he can be venerable with. Unfortunately he’s totally ruined that with Peach by being pushy. He just likes the idea of married life with somebody much more kind and sweet than him. Luigi always feels like he’s in his brother’s heroic shadow, watching him get the girl just about every day of the week. Not only scoring a big powerful monarch but one that seems impossible to expose the sensitive side of is a power move for him.

I'm so glad that Coley is covering Bowuigi. I got into Bowuigi a year ago bcs of the fanart and I thought oh wow nice rare ship. Then, I became obsessed with this ship that I love reading fics of them and scrolling Bowuigi fanart. The ship art for them r amazing too and I too also bought Bowuigi zine. Fun fact, I read in Shipping Wiki is that Bowuigi happen because there's a scene of Luigi disguised as Peach being captured by Bowser in the manga. That's why there are fics about that scene.
