Thanks for the video, I have to do it on the same machine and feared that would be much more complex. In the end you can even do it in the wood with limited tools :)
I have a 07 brute force and was riding it pretty hard today and my belt basically blew up on me and shredded. I haven’t had time to take the cover off and check it out yet. But I have noticed the fourwheeler goes into neutral fine and rolls perfectly fine. But I’ve had a problem with it going into gear. Will it go into gear once I put the new belt on?
May have to adjust your belt tension. Also may just need broken in a tad bit also make sure everything is clean. A new belt will stretch when it's brand new. I would ride it a bit and see if fixes it. hope this helps
@@hightorquepulls8512 A new belt is going to be tighter than your old used belt. Probably after running it it will loosen up a bit and you wont experience that issue.
guitardoc102 depends on how you ride. My first one lasted a good while prob 2500 miles and is still a backup. The others I replaced were because i let a friend use my machine and he tried to pull a stump out and smoked the belt.
guitardoc102 honestly i like to change mine every 3k miles give or take. I run my machine alot so its never really sitting for a chance to rot or get stiff. If you’re hearing noises or a big delay in gas to response probably time to change it
I have a 2020 750 n recently got stuck in a mud hole i floored it n smoked up my quad now I hear knocking coming from that area haven't taken it apart yet but could it be just a belt damage or clutch aswell?
Dude it’s making noise cause you have a bolt missing haha. You shittin me. You can’t leave that cover without the bolts in there haha. There’s probably half a trail of garbage in your clutches lol. Good luck with that
Not a perfect video, no editing for the most part. Exactly how I do things. So in it's imperfection, its perfect. Thank you for posting!
Thank you for this I hope it helped you

Anytime my friend! Its not too bad just depends on how much mud is packed under the seat haha
i know im a couple years late to the party but this video helped alot thank you man!! Also Thank you for the 10 mm humor!!!!!
Not a problem. Thank you!
That doesn't look like too hard a job. I might try changing belts on my 4 wheeler next time. Good job on the video. Phil
Thank you Phil! I hope you are well!
Public service announcement, fingertips stuck between belts and pulleys tend to separate from their owner. :P
This is accurate information 💪
great information! Subscribed as Bruteforce Explorer :)
Thanks Brute! They are fun machines eh ;))
@@NickPixelTV yessir! I am also creating Brute vids, check it out!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 👍
So my belt pretty much exploded on my 03 650 Prarie. There are still thin strands of belt stuck in secondary clutch, how do I get them out?
Thanks for the info,good video....nj
You bet anytime :-) Thank you
Did you smell rubber after the first use? I just replaced mine and could smell a little.
On a new belt you may smell a bit if rubber but it shouldn’t be that bad. Is the belt slipping at all?

Mist likely it may also be in limp mode if the switch got tripped. I would pop the cover and check on everything out first.
@@NickPixelTV everyone I’ve seen who shredded there belt said there’s no way it would damage the trans so I’m hopin for the best
Never once pulled clutch. Never knew this wasn't a common way to do it

@@NickPixelTV lol good stuff

I dont think its the belt tension because i removed the belt exactly like you showed in the video and before i changed it it was perfect

How many hours or miles do you get on a belt

NickPixelTV Im not that hard on it.

You probably smoked or shredded the belt. Take the housing off and see if the belt is damaged. I have also had this happen
You’ll tear a belt typically before you damage a clutch
Anyone have a problem with the belt .I got a 2021 and today I went in water amd it stopped moven but no water in it ????
Hmm u sure it didnt just get wet and start slipping
@@NickPixelTV ya that's what happened
Did exactly this. Secondary clutch now locks up when in gear. What the heck?!
Paul McCown can you explain a bit more. Ive changed like 3 belts on this machine never an issue. Sorry to hear that your machine is having issues
You need to adjust the belt tension .
Story of the lost 10mm

Theres nothing in my box bud. The old belt was trash and i put a replacement in the top after the video have done it before
That belts trash. OEM kawi belt only
I believe it's what I had at the time. I normally use a kawi belt. A belt is better than no belt
