I noticed you have two 36v lithiums. Only problem in my opinion in they are only 50ah each and you’re only running one at a time. Try wiring them in parallel. Keep the 36v but have double the reserve for your trolling motor
Pro Guide is using me to test a theory: Can I go a full day with my setup (3 electronics and an ultrex)? Our guess is no, for the trolling motor side (One 36v50 and one Ultrex). That’s why I have the spare I will charge on its own and switch leads to on the water if/when I need it. But one thing I did not say in the video, that I will in a future video, is that I am planning on running a brand new trolling motor here very soon that is considerably more power efficient, so that experiment will be re-done. If that experiment also fails, I will just run them parallel

Hello blogger, did you say that the starter battery you configured for your fishing motor is dual use? Does this mean that the starter battery will continue to power your fishing motor after it starts, or are you only using it for power supply or startup here?
It's really amazing. To my knowledge, although this type of battery has two functions, it does not perform a startup action while charging other accessories. People often worry about running out of battery power and not being able to return to shore. Does this mean that such batteries can be used as one of the reserve electricity sources on board ships? My bass boat may be able to stock up on this battery.@@TylersReelFishing
Cons to your 12volt Lithium vs 36 volt Lithium battery statement even though you mentioned lead acid but let's keep it apples to apples. 1. Very expensive 36 volt battery charger needed 2. You get more out of 3 100 amp hour 12 then you do your 36 volt 50 amp hour 3. I do believe Humminbird new trolling motor will be a 24 volt / 36 like the others allowing for a battery to fail and still use 2 batteries 4. 36 volt does cost more over 3 12 volts 5. I'll personally take a Mercury Pro XS over your Yamaha claim and that's going by years of experience and owning them since 1995 but Yamaha is no slouch they all have issues but SUZUKI is sneaking in there and I believe reliability of it is going to be superior especially the lower unit.
Hey Tyler can you do a video on how to temperature drops and then rises back up to the 60’s and 70’s and how it affects the fish? I live in Dallas and it was super cold and now it’s warm again so I’m curious if fishing is gonna be better for these couple weeks
Do you have to go to the AMPD factory to get some goodie compartments and add ONS? Or can you call them give them the boat make n model an measurements and then send what u want? Cause I doubt I'll be driving from Alabama to Texas anytime soon✌️
You can call and they will ship! Installing is super easy to do yourself. Now, the only problem is, if they do not have the measurements for your specific boat. At this point, though that is becoming less and less of a problem as people bring their boats in and they add that boat to their arsenal
Great looking boat. I'm just curious as to why you didn't push it through the chine walk to see the real top end numbers. It is scary to learn to drive a boat once it starts to chine walk, but that's when you are truly on the lhull pad, and the boat will ride like a dream.
Because from my previous 4 Skeeters, the chine happens AT the top end, unlike other brands like Phoenix or Triton. I don’t think my boat can physically get above the chine, so when it starts to walk I drive it a little, but driving dangerously would just be unsafe
@TylersReelFishing I definitely understand that and would never ask anyone to drive a boat unsafely or beyond their skill set. There's no driving through chine, it just gets worse the faster you go. Hours 3-10- regular operation with the exception of no wide open throttle for more than 5 minutes at a time
