I just rode in a friend's 721 and it rides a little better than mine but he was only getting 72-73 with the new merc 250 like your boat. It kind of surprised me that he wasn't seeing upper 70s, but I didn't mind since I was the passenger in 40 degree weather lol. That was a cold ride

I was coming around a bend in the lake once at full throttle. Had the boat trimmed just right. Saw a June bug in a banked turn coming in the opposite direction. It was like slow motion. We had a head on collision. He smacked me in the forehead at around 100mph! Right between the eyes mid forehead. It felt like being hit with a ball peen hammer! Speedo and gps both said I was running in the low to mid 80’s. I figured the June bug was flying around 15-20 mph. I don’t think the bug made it but I carried a welt on my forehead for a week in remembrance,! 😂 Now when I run top end in the summer I wear a helmet! Large raindrops sting a little too! @ByronTeaHill Long story short. Fishing outside (Fingal Island) and could see a storm brewing down south. Immediately up-anchored and flew back in towards Soldiers Point ramp, but the storm cell was moving too fast and it beat me there. Dropped anchor near some yachts with tall masts thinking they'd be hit before me - alas not. The lightning hit my rocket launcher and detonated anything electric on board. Luckily I was careful enough not to touch any metal at all or I'd have probably not fared well. All my fishing rods on board turned into graphite fairy floss. Also, luckily, I had my mobile in my pants pocket, and it didn't get destroyed, so I was able to call marine rescue and get help. I've variously been hit by lightning three times now (only once in a boat), so that's enough...

Yea I live and fish on the Mobile Al delta & river system. In a 100 boat field 75 of them are Bullet 20 XD's and a few Allison's. His boat would have came in 76th

Add a Bixpy motor Harry! ;) I’d hate to be caught in a channel in a kayak with the boats going past. I’d be so scared.
