Please do more Da Vinci tutorials. Your step-by-step process and more detailed explanation is far superior to a lot of these hasty and truncated "tutorials" on RUclips.
This was THE best tutorial ever. Thank you. I managed to do it by following along step by step, and I am a total beginner on Davinci Resolve, and I have version 18. You are a very good teacher.
Massive respect for teaching it step by step and giving time in between. I was able to create it while playing your video on the background. I hope you succeed with your channel.
This is an absolutely fantastic video! Thank you so so much, really helped me out and learnt a little more about nods!! Will be checking out some more of your videos!
Ah, thank you so much! I actually learned a lot, after this video I found how to add a new font to davinci and simplified the method bypassing fusion (no frame or fog), but the font itself looked how I wanted, and I just used the same concept in the inspector keyframing. And I added a punch sound.
Hummm, i tried to add your tutorial to one of my fusion work, i had an issue with the background and the rectangle, rectangle isn t showing for some reason, too bad it s that complicated to add a simple texte in a background frame, it should be more easy, this is crazy to put so much work for a classic like a text in a frame.
Hi @DarioForParis2024. If you already have a PNG image created, you can simply insert this onto your timeline and follow the steps from 6:08 of the tutorial instead of going through Fusion. Avoid using JPG as this will obscure the background that you use due to a lack of transparency in certain places. Many thanks for your comment and subscription. I've subscribed to you also. All the best.
@@C0ntiChannel Hey man, thanks so much for the answer. Still very new to editing, lots of ideas and working currently on an introduction video to my project! step by step, getting there slowly. I was first surprised, then happy when I saw one plus subscription without a video online yet...haha :D Thanks, see ya soon;)
Hi @DarioForParis2024. For some reason, your comment has only just appeared on my feed! You're very welcome, and thank you so much for your kind words and hope that you are doing well.
Hi @GL33SH. I'm sorry that you can't find the Stencil font. This came by default with the software and wasn't downloaded from anywhere, including on the latest version of DaVinci Resolve 17. If you can't find the Stencil Std font either, I'd say Prestige Elite Std may be a suitable alternative style for the stamp text.
Hi @charmanr. You can open a PNG file containing your logo in fusion and apply the Fast Noise node to this instead of text, but a threshold effect may need to be applied to the original logo in order to create the red printed stamp appearance. I'll look into this and see if I can produce something similar.
@@C0ntiChannel Thank you. I have been playing around with this and have managed to get something acceptable. One issue I have though it that the Fast Noise node makes the logo all one colour. Is there a way to apply the noise without losing the original colours of the logo?
Hi @charmanr. I've tried something similar but the original colour of my logo remains on screen even after adding the FastNoise node in the same way as shown in the tutorial. Not sure what the issue is here but will see if I can come across a similar situation to yours and a solution if possible to help.
@@C0ntiChannel I'm using a png logo image of two solid colours. The image was exported to png from GIMP and whatever format GIMP uses by default. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I am assuming that I can get around this as part of the logo (one colour) is just simple text, so I can possibly separate the text from the image (the other colour) and place them separately in the edit. I would have to figure out how to anchor them together ,so they move as one, though. As you can probably tell, I am a complete beginner when it comes to editing, so I really appreciate your helpful videos and you helping me out in the comments here.
Hi @charmanr. My image was PNG formatted also. The Transform tools in the inspector window should enable you to align the text and image components up although I would try creating a logo in a photo-editing software first if this is available so that you can modify the text and imagery as one in DaVinci Resolve later on.
Hi @Crabosity. I tried following the steps with my channel logo png file one time but the original colour of my logo remained on screen after adding the FastNoise node. I am looking to see if this technique can be applied successfully to images.
Hi @Vitor Borges. Sorry that you can't find the Stencil font. Somebody else couldn't find it before. Prestige Elite Std may be a suitable alternative font for the stamp text. Hope that this helps.
