wow that looks amazing, the concept art with the bleeding sun is one of the most intriguing ideas that I have seen come from fromsoft. That image is so mysterious being old cut content. And the fact that the black blood from the sun is pouring and piling up is so surreal and horrifying. Not to mention those giant black serpent things. I am so glad you are making this, such great stuff so far.

You can see the similarities in Dark Souls 3 lighting and music to bloodborne also. Maybe they didn't want to step to far into the Gothic Victorian style
(Warning: Long ass comment unless you'd like to take the time to read this, thank you) Man so many of these mods have been HUGE game changers (Pun unintended) with so many new bosses that WEREN'T just reskins of other ones like Cindrers mod and spells and so much more. The convergence which is sadly described as the "magic mod" even though there's a TON of other cool shit that made it an actually good mod, I mean they brought out the classic dragon on a bridge trying to kill you except it's a freaking frost dragon! Too much effort are put into these kind of mods/projects just for people to describe them as a magic mod or whatever title that makes it sound lesser than what it actually is. I'm really proud of the modding side of the dark souls community, y'all put so much effort into these, I hope one day I could do something like this, if I ever learn to do programming. Sorry about the long comment tho, but keep up the great work, and I hope this project is a huge success. Best of luck to thee, and long may the sun shine!
I always read everything and I am always happy that people get excited about what is produced, I admit that I never played a dark souls mod, but I will try to bring the best experience by not changing the game too much. Thanks man

@@abyss1ne17 Of course, especially if it's flying! I was more thinking about an "angel" kind of enemy! Like you're in the middle of ruins, and there's this buddy lurking around and maybe throwing projectiles at you. By "enemy", I mean something that there's interaction with in a way or an other and that is hostile to you, not something like a boss fight! Or maybe, part of one, like the pilgrims butterfly during dragon slayer armor fight! Though I totally understand that it would be a mess to handle in DS3, flying and big size bosses have always been kind of a mess in Dark souls. Still can't wait to see the final result, especially for this area. If there's one thing I truly regret from DS3 early build, it is what was depicted in this picture with the bleeding sun and the soul snake!

Hells, the eclipsed sun, this giant Darksign over your head in the final battle was so symbolic. Would this bleed replace eclipse? Or is it eclipse's first stage? If so, how does it combine with eclipse ceremony through which we can start the eclipse in any location (if I get it right; btw, what exactly ceremonies do, besides skybox change?).
I probably won't use the other eclipse anymore, if I do, it will be white like at the end of the game. About ceremonies you can use to change a lot of stuff, lightning, enemies, events.

the map would be m9(number), I don't remember if it was m96 or m91 concept map, that's what the Kanjis said, I have partially the assets, what I don't have is the map layout, and I doubt Fromsoftware would have finished it, I just recreated it in Dreg Heap, actually the map is already much better than that haha, follow me on twitter, feel free to ask or chat

Looking at the map names, (btw thanks to Meowmaritus for putting the list on github) the idea was cut pretty early too, wasn't it? All the test map stuff starts with m9x, while real maps are lower numbers. Guess that alone also confirms the Gods Grave map was cut fairly late, as it's listed in the final map lineup. It's generally agreed that Gods Grave would've been accessible from the blocked off bridge section guarded by the Stray Demon, right? What I'm a little curious about is why there was a test map just for Eclipse Slugs (m98_10_00_00)? Unless there was a rough version of that giant version from the concept art in the game at some point, I don't see why the slugs would require it. Will definitely keep up with your mod. The bleeding sun alone makes me want to play it lol. Btw, you said the bleeding is meant to be animated, are the big spiky tendrils in the background also meant to be animated? I can't tell if they're supposed to be giant tree roots or a snakelike creature. I'm looking forward to more updates in the future!
@@vitya1980 all maps used m9X, even the retail ones, they then got id m2X and then m3x, it's the common process for FS to play the Range number very high, another thing is that if we look at the NT or Gamescom build, each one is a time cut, we have information from that moment but they could be completely different before because they change everything every day, about Gods Grave, well, it's one of the Msbs, I still think they should have dozens of them, dozens of versions of High Wall, Gods Grave, Settlement, so, well, everything could have been different, the Slug map, sometimes it could be just a flat floor with a slug just to see how it moves, the slug was changed countless times, i can easily count 4, about the leak that should flow from the Sun, the asset i have has the animations, but it doesn't have the specific liquid mesh anymore, so what i have left is to manually redo
