Still to this day, my mom loves to fish, she goes on fishing trips with my dad, and they bought their retirement house with one requirement: it had to be by the water! Seafood is what makes her most happy, and through these videos, and my genealogical research into her family, I can see where that comes from! Her basque DNA is pretty diluted now, after generations of blending in with the local french-canadian lot, she only shows up as 1% Basque on dna tests (and 98% french!!!! thanks, generationally inbreeding Acadians!). Still can't get her onboard with sushi though, for some reason... she eats whelks like they're candy, but a California roll is beyond her reach, go figure! Must be all the inbreeding...! xD

I'm not sure if you have gone over this before, but I'm new to traveling with my DSLR and I was wondering if you could talk about traveling on a plain with your backpacks and camera gear. Do you have issues with tripods, do you carry on everything or do you have to check a bag, have you had any issues with stolen equipment, etc.? Just over all how flying with your gear is.
