Hopefully, the content here gives you some ideas to use in your own projects!

I learn a lot in your videos, every time I think I know how to use this program, in your videos I see a lot of other things that improve my understanding of this fantastic software!

Good stuff. Nice tips. What is your machine configuration? If I see correctly on my mobile, you're doing all this in 2K.

yes, but all of the content can be cached for quicker view when I do the breakdowns :) So even on my older machine (90% of the tutorials on my channel which was a CPU from 2011) That said, I got an upgrade to teach from home and my studio contracts. Which meant a ryzen 9 3950 (5 series wasn't available at the time) and a geforce 3080. So that's what I'm using now.

@@cowsmanaut thanks. It's a nice setup. My i7 from 2016 and 2080Ti are struggling a bit, but I worked in Gaea with 1080Ti az well and it's possible, just have to find that inner peace first. ;)

@@zetsology yeah, patience is key for the 2k on a slower CPU. I often work at 1k for a lot of my own work.. starting with 512 when just blocking main shapes. I find 1k is a decent mix of speed vs detail. Only going to 2K for refinement. I also find baking 4k is definitely faster than previewing it, in fact baking in most cases seems faster over all. Also, the feature (perhaps it's only in 1.3 right now) where it saves the cache when you exit makes loading the files WAY faster. So find the balance to your workflow I guess. When you are a bout to go to 2k, (ie rebuild previews for the entire graph) use the time to go get a coffee or check your email.. :D

also, my videos before 2021 were an xeon from 2011, and a geforce 1070 basic. So I've been through it.. :)
