Ichigo, he's not an annoying character and he has a personality I haven't seen in the other characters and his character development is amazing and well written
As a Bleach fan I can effectively say that all three are great in their own unique respective ways. A LOT of dumb people are easily influenced by whatever is more popular at the time, but real fans know that each series depicts a special moment in time for the ENTIRE manga/anime industries.
I def fell like bleach should have taken the transformation category but everyone has their opinion. Each of the big 3 are special in their own way and no one will ever agree to a number 1 spot for the big 3.
Gear 5 alone is enough to place One Piece comfortably at number 1 imo. I haven't seen transformation more fitting to what the main character and the series represents as a whole. And gear 2, 3, 4 were also pretty cool too.
I watched all of big 3, and to be honest bleach has best transformations. I really like one piece transformation with devil fruits and everything but every time i see someone in bleach transform or evolve it just feels different and gives goose bumps.
Bleach transformations are still better. One Piece transformations all feel like they come out of nowhere, they don't feel earned. With bleach, you see Ichigo work for them(except for dangai and the one in tybw where most of the training is off screen)@@VFusioN69
How i understood it he was talking about transformations of the main characters, not all of the characters, and if i understood it correctly then OnePiece no doubt has the best transformations, while most of the bleach transformations are just changing attires
the bleach fullbring arc and tybw arc has insane aniamtion, especially the tybw arc, that has to be the best consistent animation studio pierrot has ever produced, not even naruto or black clover got that special treatment that bleach did and the staff even said cour 2 is gonna look alot better, i agree with eveything else you said though
@@SniperAscension in terms of animation tybw definitely better. Not a diss to one piece tho, one piece is weekly and tybw is only 13 episodes and seasonal
i feel like the bleach novels really address alot of the issues with character motivations and world building but i really liked your analysis and ranking of the big three
i have read both, i have to say, one piece world building is overrated, its still best in the big three but bleach is really close i would rate bleach 9.79 rating for world building if one piece is 9.8 rated, the only real advantage i see for one piece is that the manga had perfect sun moon formations before timeskip and at times you see one building somewhere and after a few chapters luffy is fighting and that one random building is there (one piece is never perfect i really think bleach in the 13 episode have better world building than one piece but bleach is at the peak and in the last arc whereas one piece is only entering the final saga with a few more arcs to go so i think one piece at peak would also reach the peak of anime)
@@sheenakr7616 do you... know what world building means, go and read in google and think again. OP world building is not on anime level nor big three level its way beyond that
you should do this again when bleach and one piece are finished because bleach's anime side is said to be a lot different from the manga because of a lot more freedom, time and Kubo's mental health getting better in the development of the bleach's anime side and one piece is still ongoing as you mentioned and still has a lot of flexibility so i think it could change a lot
I think all 3 is amazing, if only the Mangaka had more time to develop their story, characters, backstory and world building, these 3 would stand on top of almost everything. Cause we know, they have like a week to produce a chapter, they literally draw untill they collapse on the table, and barely has any time to rest and think about what will happen in the next chapter.
@@shounencast bro bro let's pump the brakes I smell a baised one-piece Fanboy when I see one not to mention that I like one piece and bleach and Naruto I'm not trying to be mean at all but this video f***** up just saying
I actually cried out "MAH MAN" for the third one. The fact that nearly everyone has a diff fav character for bleach and each one is acceptable is incredible. Like, my top 2 are Yoruichi and Grimmjow, and neither one of them are on that top 10 list you showed. Bleach's side cast is just goated
They all are mid as characters and carried by aesthetics. It's like ur isekai where u can justify being fan any random side char despite them barely getting any screentime.
@@Onepiecelegendaire lol barely any screentime. Bleach consistently keeps its side cast in the light. Just look at how beloved and shown all the captains are. Ur just not a bleach fan dude. No need to project

Luffy doesn't actually change, he change the world around him, because he has a stationary character arc, kinda complicated to compare him with the other two
He actually changed in his leadership, like how vivi taught him to bow his head to cure Nami or how he need to move on from the departing of his and Ussop which this is where he develop gear 2 as he says I need to get stronger so I can protect anyone.
@@james0083 that's not enough to be called character development unfortunately, because a "stationary arc" in a narrative is arc were a character already realize his inner Truth, and his challenge is to stay loyal to his inner Truth, it's a arc with no "narrative lie", the character already know who he is and what he wants, Luffy wants freedom , and become the Pirate king is the means to achieve that
@@alanviniciuswanderleytavar4399that absolutely doesn’t mean there is no character development. Just like said in the video, it’s less obvious and more subtle but it’s there. Luffy might have the same motivation and goals but he has changed a ton since chapter one, he learned how to be a leader just like the rest of the crew learned how to better cover their roles, and saying he hasn’t had character development is kinda missing the point of the whole plot from water 7 to the time skip reunion
@@Nintendomaster221 one piece has more than 1000 chapters, and you mencioned a arc from more than a decade ago, and you just mentioned that he learned a subtle leadership skill, that doesn't even scratch a surface level change, let alone be considered a progressive character arc, I m talking from a narrative standpoint a stationary character arc doesn't mean that the character literally stay the same, it means that the character already reached his narrative truth
@@alanviniciuswanderleytavar4399 you, and I quote, said that it's not enough to be called character development. That's just false. Luffy has evolved and went through great character development. I'm not arguing his arc is a progressive one and ofc he has already reached his internal truth but that doesn't mean he hasn't gone through change, and to refer back to the video I think it's valid to compare how it was executed to how naruto and ichigo's own development was executed in spite of the different situations and specifics. Also I believe dismissing it because it's an "old" arc makes no sense when One Piece's character arcs develop throughout the whole story and are rarely confined to one saga only (+ it wasn't only a saga, the entirety of the story from Sabaody through the reunion is specifically dedicated to Luffy's development)
Bleach takes it for me, every single MC is loud and super outgoing like Luffy and Naruto. Ichigo is different dosent talk to much and is very relatable. I feel like people who prefer op and Naruto are probably on the younger side.
He is also a very reactionary character. This means that he has a very simple end goal. For example in tybw ichigo had the same goal to protect soul society like everyone else and started feeling like a side character, so kubo added dramatic exposition to link ywach to his moms death.
Nah fam, Naruto is loud only in his regular life, when he fights he brings so much philosophy and understanding of his enemies and himself that it makes him look way older than Ichigo, who often becomes irrigant and cocky during his fights
@@justaregularbean8861 same for luffy. He's loud when he's being inspirational or charismatic , but when he fells that he should be serious, he becomes the most mature person there
I feel that bleach should’ve took villains, transformations, and power system each person having their own shikai and Bankai that’s makes them unique and able to win a fight not just one way everytime is very cool also aizen and ulquiorra are the best written villains in the big three bankai ichigo is the cleanest transformation, with rukia, and Toshiro behind him
I have no idea why people downplay Aizen. Ive been watching a lot of videos of new comers to Bleach that have also seen the other two, and they are all blown away that they skipped out on it and have so much appretiation for how good of a villian Aizen is.
Yeah that’s fair, OP is definitely more diverse especially since there are way more characters, but for me Bleach just has that edge due to how cool Kubo’s designs look.
@@shounencast one piece should win the award for the goofiest shii in anime. I'm not even cappin. there are indeed some cool lookin characters but for the most of it 💀 we both know it
Some people underrate Luffy thinking he has zero character development having the same personality he had in ep 1. Good to see your takes on him and the rest.
I think they're almost interchangeable. It really depends on taste in my opinion. One Piece has the most emotional moments, Naruto has the most action and Bleach is a perfect mix. I prefer Bleach but its totally understandable if you like the other two more.
@@stevenadamsapple well nah not so edgy to cry over a freaking boat lol but when one piece will be able to cry me over a goodbye like Naruto and Minato or Jiraiya's death maybe I'll appreciate that
I wonder how the Can't Fear Your Own World LNs would effect this list. since they really go into the motives of all the villians(which conects to the orgin of the world) and the heavily expand on the world building. Note the content from CFYOW was suppose to be in the manga but was cut due to health reasons and being rushed. Summo urahara did a great recape of the villians motives if you don't want to read 3 LNS
@Emperor SoftTurtle again it was supposed to be in the story but health and being given a limited amount of chapters force kubo to end the story then expand on the world building/villian motives. you can think of the LNs not as extra material but required reading in a diffrent format, due to health and soft cancilation. also Eastren philosapy on having important thing explained in side material or side material being required read is very diffrent then the West's. the East sees it as perfically okay to make it so you have to consume extra material in order to understand the story. Overlord taking this concept to its max in that you need both the anime and LN to actually follow the story(as the aurthor intentionly make important plot points exclusive to one of the mediums) there's also some evidence that it might be added into the anime.
Here's the video's that cover the world building aspect of the LNs or the history of the original world. Plus a orhime power explain video to help clear up some confusion on her. People that mention that Pain panel in Naruto as bad animation don't understand that it was intentional. There were multiple dofferent artists that contributed to that fight scene, which granted was a bit out of place, but i thought it was pretty cool.
Naruto got me in to Anime, I caught up on OP last year and it’s my fav of the 3, and I just finished the Bleach manga a few weeks ago, I think your rankings were mostly spot on but I do think you slept on Bleach a little bit like I would give transformations to Bleach as well, but great video
For me it's: Main character: bleach Deuteragonist: naruto Side cast: one piece Antagonist: bleach Female cast: one piece Character design: bleach Plot: one piece World building: one piece Fights: naruto Animation: naruto Power system: naruto Transformations: bleach
For the Espada releasing there Zanpakuto they are going closer back to there original forms that's why they don't have there Zanpakuto after the release
I think that system topic is the more controversial point in the list. Naruto starts with a well designed system that is forgoten during the series, mainly in shipuuden. The characters stop doing hand signals, the elements stop being relevants to clash opponents techiniques and we have the inclusion of genetic manipulation, aliens and soul encarnations (fate) that turns the system in a big irrelevant mess. While One Piece is the opposite: we start without a well defined system, just with random akuma no mi powers, but after half of story and the inclusion of Haki, the things stabilze, and there is some line of reference. While Bleach, even with some random powers never well explained, still is the most system focused story. I would go with Bleach > Naruto > One Piece
Bleach’s story is fantastically done and doesn’t really have plot holes, much of the final arcs issues have to do with kubo’s declining health than bad writing. Disagree with its animation as well as it’s been amazing with very little drops. It also explains how espqda transformations and full bringers fit into the world.
i believe it is fantastically done, but compared to one piece, it isnt fantastic at all, cant speak for naruto but from what ive seen in bleach and one piece, my no.1 and no.2 animes the story just isnt there for bleach
i mean idk about the anime expanding the story since ion anything bout the manga but I feel bleach has WAY better plot twist moments and reveals than one piece and more frequently aswell, but the story is so vacant and empty, besides the first 60 eps, the story is just one guy plotting against the soul king, either aizen or yhwach, it doesnt expand past that, and no other characters have ulterior motives, where as one piece, the story expands far past just the one piece, we got zoros plot of the strongest swordsman, robins of finding the real history, we even got non straw hats with dreams that we can follow like buggy now. So many characters are developed and play a huge role in the show where as besides kenpachi and urahara, the other captains are literally filler characters that either had purpose and since arrancar arc, theyre pointless (like komamura) or theyre just plain un needed (like byakuya even though he is cold, kensei, love, rose, all of those random mfs and the lieutenents and seats besides ikkaku@@Auron1Roxas2
Unlike most I grew up on Bleach and watch the other two how most do Bleach so I’m riding for it until the wheels fall off! Plus creativity wise Bleach has that and Ichigo personality and motives are the most selfless out of the bunch!

Naruto - Has Philosophy, Emotional Impact, and Fights One Piece - Has world building, and good plot Bleach - Has Amazing Characters and also good fights The Big 3 all have their own strengths so please lets not compare and lets just enjoy these peak series
Personal ranking will always be bleach > op > naruto, but I think it's op > bleach > naruto. I feel like bleach's power system and everything work together so much better than naruto, because in the end the alien shit feels like just bsing for more chapters. Also bleach ranked middle so many times more than naruto, I think it should be that if you get first you get a point and if you get last you lost a point and if you get middle nothing happens.
I personally prefer bleach too bleach >op> Naruto but you put op first I don't have problem either but no way Naruto is best it's the worst garabge female cast every villans got that same sad backstory shit no uniqueness in character the war arc was set up for boruto instead for ending Naruto which ruined whole show runied madra character by pulling zetsu and alien shit bad ending overall
Naruto is often praised for its tightly woven plot, character development, and emotional depth. The story follows Naruto Uzumaki's journey from an outcast to a respected ninja as he strives to protect his village and fulfill his dream of becoming the Hokage. The plot incorporates themes of friendship, perseverance, and redemption, with intense battles and personal growth driving the narrative forward. The complex relationships between characters, such as Naruto's bond with Sasuke, add layers of emotional depth to the story. The focus on Naruto's growth and the exploration of the impact of his heritage make for a compelling plot that resonates with many viewers. On the other hand, One Piece offers a sprawling, expansive world with a rich lore and a wide array of diverse characters. The plot revolves around Monkey D. Luffy and his crew's quest to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, and become the Pirate King. One Piece excels in its world-building, creating a vast universe filled with unique islands, cultures, and political conflicts. The narrative balances adventure, Humor, and action while exploring themes of freedom, dreams, and the value of camaraderie. Additionally, One Piece has a penchant for intricate long-term foreshadowing, cleverly weaving together various storylines, and delivering unexpected plot twists. Ultimately, the comparison between Naruto and One Piece's plot is subjective and dependent on personal preferences. Both series have loyal fan bases who appreciate their respective strengths. Whether you favor Naruto's character-driven narrative and emotional resonance or One Piece's grand adventure and world-building, both series offer compelling stories that have captivated audiences worldwide. Idk about the first part tho. If it takes like half the show to really get invested in your main characters, it may not be that good. But I like clone wars and it took a whole season for it to actually get good. Bleach also def has a Gary Stu problem
That was the best comparison I've ever seen. Idk why people downplay one piece character art so much. The fact is it's so unique and good, it's not like other anime, oda always come with different unique designs and theme in every new arc while others manga writers just barely change the tune or face shape (not saying in a disrespectful way). I've also noticed that oda is even focused on small details like nose, ear shapes etc. Other artists don't put much of efforts on these things they just draw a line or two and make these things
Glad you enjoyed, and yeah like you said, Oda is one of the few mangaka who really switches up his character design. Truly inspirational how versatile his art is.

My personal favorite is Bleach, but I haven't seen a lot of One Piece yet. It seems pretty good though. I expect the three of them to be around the same in terms of quality. Naruto and Bleach were both great, I just prefer Bleach's characters more.
Update i'm on episode 380 of one piece. I'm going to make the same complaint as everyone: the pacing. It hurts. The skypiea ark especially. If one piece were about 400- 500 episodes, it would be way better. If I were to give a reason as to why i like bleach the most, it would be character designs, soundtrack, and pacing. Assuming you skip filler, bleach is way shorter naruto and one piece. My rankings would be Bleach 9.8/10, near perfect Naruto 9.5/10, very very good, just a bit too long and too much setup forgotten One Piece 9/10, still great, just too long, soundtrack is mid other than We Are, and also predictable(At least so far).
They're not as toxic as naruto or one piece but when someone says critique about bleach these days, recency bias will cause the fans to lose their shit.
I love how honest and respectful you were with your criteria and I really enjoyed watching this video. I do want to point out you ranked them them by how many times they got first place, but it would also be interesting to see the results if you take first and second place into consideration.
I know that naruto was the biggest anime in america and i know that one piece was the biggest one in japan, but i just dont know anything about bleach. I literally only knew ONE friend back in elementary school who watched bleach and none of the other two. He was a quiet, shy and reserved person. While everybody was playing yugioh and watching naruto he was over here playing Bakugan and watching bleach.
in my opinion bleach has the best transformations.. if you consider not only the mc ichigo.. but all side characters.. literally everyone has unique transformations, because of bankai or just time going by
I mean they weren't even the strongest in the end, both Madara and Kaguya (though not fodderizing them) were clearly above them in the scalling, and we saw tons of other characters show power in their own ways (not just raw strength) to rival that of them. Previous hokages/other kage, Obito, Sakura (hate her or not but War Arc Sakura surpassed most of the shinobis around), Itachi, DMS Kakashi, Might Guy etc etc.
i agree with the power system point, imo it's op>naruto>bleach(only up to arrancar arc in bleach), but sasuke is 100% over rukia and zoro imo, the thing i think was wrong was the side cast ranking (op should be no.1 no debate)
Hot Take Incoming. I believe that people have too much pride to admit when something is better. As a massive Narutard, I admit that One Piece is superior, though I ENJOY and LOVE Naruto more, because It has a special place in my heart. Just because something isn't as good, doesn't mean you won't enjoy it more.
But that’s it’s biggest weakness. OP is so long and kind of a dragged out story at this point. Especially for long-term readers thatve been reading since pre-timeskip. Anime like AoT, Deathnote, Code Geass, etc. are amazing and iconic and didn’t need 1000 chapters to tell a story that’s why one piece has fallen off for me. And I’ve been a reader since Jaya. Since I was around 7ish to now I’m 23. I still read it weekly but just bc it’s a commitment. Also as you get older or read it weekly for longer you’ll start seeing a lot of writing flaws. A Lot.

For me, Naruto is still the Best MC among the big 3, I know how Luffy can truly inspire many people, without Luffy, many characters will not reach their full potential. But I really like what MK is trying to convey through Naruto, Naruto shows how one can make peace and be free from the cycle of hatred. Almost all of Naruto's main stories show that, Naruto Vs Gaara, Naruto Vs Pain, Naruto Vs Obito. It all shows how "mature" Naruto was to be able and willing to go through the most bitter way to fight all the hatred towards him.
@@tragiic333Ya him chasing around Sasuke for eternity is extremely repetitive and even when he does get going it's extremely boring and repetitive. While Luffy has a more concrete goal and is far more interesting to watch.

This is completely subjective but for me Ichigo>Naruto>Luffy if we're talking relatability, matureness and badass Naruto>Ichigo>Luffy MC as a whole Naruto>=Bleach>One piece I'm sorry but this is how i view it
the power system of one piece is not just devil fruits and haki, you have technics like jimbe's karate or the king punch in th dressrosa tournment, and devil fruits have such a limitless possibilitys like katakuri having the mochi fruit but being as strong as luffy in whole cake, and his power is literally controlling a soft candy
One piece is only good bc of its length. And I can guarantee I’ve been an OP fan longer than you lol. Sorry, but it just doesn’t hold up trying to convince someone to read a 1107+ chapter manga that’s extremely dragged out. Oda himself has admitted that he’s spun it out of control bc every few years he says “it’ll end in 5 year” and it doesn’t. Even today, he’s still introducing new factions like the Holy Knights and you know damn well he’s going to give a backstory to a lot of them like he did with the Scabbards and other side characters. It’ll end at probably chapter 1500.

I'd love to hear about your personal enjoyment as well. For me I have watched OnePiece and despite some breaks, I always come back to it and ended up doing 1000 eps in under a year. But with Naruto, some moments - especially now that I've got up to the Great Ninja War - are genuinely difficult to stay engaged with.
One Piece feels like Oda is trying to make a point with the power system.Coming upon a random fruit, eating it, getting a random ability is just like how in our world, so much of how much power you have over your life is sheer happenstance and who your parents are. And while there is also a message in even the dumbest sounding abilities can be powerful if you are creative and work hard enough(Katakuri comes to mind.) But some people are just born with Conquerers haki, and theres nothing you can do about it. Im glad this came up in my reccomendations. It blew my mind looking at your subcount. I will subscribe.
I honestly think that you can say any of the big three are the best. Bleach has the best themes, aesthetic, and honestly main character by a mile in my opinion (his growth is done in such a nuanced yet subtle way that it’s beautiful). The best fights and character development goes to naruto without a doubt as it’s entire show is based off the idea of growing as a person through treacherous situations. The best world building and actual narrative goes to one piece hands down.
@@Gin-San101 thematically, one piece is easily the worst to me. Freedom as a theme while cool is generally overdone in media, and while I like it in one piece, I don’t necessarily think it has done a whole lot with that theme yet, (we’ll probably see more in this last saga of the manga now though

One Piece is easily one of the best depictions of freedom hands down, from Luffy to the villains themselves. Wdym not done much with? @@Gin-San101 the theme has definitely been there throughout all of one piece sure, but it definitely hasn’t been fleshed out completely. @@bruis1527 I'm not solely talking about luffy's freedom, I'm talking about how it's depicted throughout the story which includes all the characters. By growing and changing with others in Naruto do you mean only the obvious trio but kakashi and sometimes shika? There multiple characters in OP that did the acceptance of self theme better, Robin and Doffy for two. Also freedom isn't the only theme in OP Inherited will Racism Genocide Slavery Classism Revolts against Racism and Slavery Showing how both sides can be evil Dictatorship Found family Secret governments and covert psyops Fascism Manipulation of the masses I just woke up so I'm most likely missing more but those are also tropes that exist in OP hence why I say one piece easily clears the other two in themes, not to mention the themes you listed are done better in OP.
Nah man ranked only the first places and btw Transformations not only include the main character as all the Bleach Transformations toshiros bankai, Rukias bankai, etc were really great Btw i also recommend you ro read the cfyow light novel since it really adds a lot to the depth of the story and really makes Tosen and Hisagi stand out more The villian of the Light novel was peak aswell
This is highly opinionated. But either way, its great to have non toxic ranking videos like this. Keep up the good work man Personally, I do like naruto best, but bleach has its place. I've had issues getting into one piece though. It hasn't captured me as of yet and I'm in the skypia arc. I really don't know if it's the anime that's to blame but I really do wish that I could enjoy it as much as others do, but sadly, I don't so it's the last for me
Yeah for sure at the end of the day everything is subjective to a certain extent and it’s quite possible one piece just might not be your type of show :)
@@joybwoy just because I don't like something that alot of people do doesn't mean that I watched the show wrong or that I didn't understand it. I do remember the whole story up to skypiea where am at. So I watched pretty carefully. But we ate all different people with different preferences. So I don't have to like what you do. That's what we call diversity
Op fans dog piling on someone for ranking naruto over it. Y’all do know that someone can like something over another yet still appreciate it right? I like Naruto over one piece but I don’t hate op, op still clears most of shounen.
the conclusion you got to really made me understand that the big three should not be made into diffrent entitys but a whole because they are so similar but so diffrent at the same time thank you
I still think the best transformations among the big 3 is in this order Bleach>Naruto>One Piece but among all of the transformations combined, Gear 5 is the pinnacle.
I personally think that Naruto is the best, to me Naruto had its ups and downs but overall I cried at the end because I could grow a connection with each character, even the ones with less screen time, id say that's what makes it great
13:11 Naruto's fights are so well animated. You got Orochimaru vs Sasuke, Naruto vs Sasuke, Obito vs Kakashi, etc. As much as I love Bleach, I prefer Naruto's fights. Then One Piece just blows both of them out of the water with Wano. As much as Wano has it's downsides (auras, unnecessary extension of fights, awful pacing), it's animation is crazy for a weekly series.
People will always complain and compare to defend their favorites, their identity, so it's useless in the end. My only grip was that it feels like Naruto won the villian's off of Talk-no-Jutsu which is a gripe a lot of people had, Ulquiorra and Ywach were just such great villians to me that maybe my bias is leaking (even though I like OP more than both) but that's just my opinion.
Bleach has the best animation of the 3 no contest…the soul society arc looks amazing to this day while still giving a nostalgic vibe at the same time. Also you can tell the animation quality progresses without the changes being too drastic (with TYBW arc being the exception but they are doing a phenomenal job with the animation and that alone deserves the top spot).
I can understand most of the arguments and I knew Bleach would be in last place as always, but Bleach def deserves the top spot for both transformation and animation at least 😱
the big 4 is stronger than those 3 fodders. the big 4's members are luffy , buggy , mr.3 , bon-chan and of course the big 4 are universal and hyper-noob-versal.
I have to disagree with point 1, 3, 4 and 5. Ichigo is, in my opinion, the most relatable one. He is the most human, because he was more or less human (compared to the other 2). The oldest brother, always gets in struggle for his appearance, the loss of his mother, which he makes himself responsible for etc. He struggles with his inner demon, similar like naruto. You could say his journey is from a heat headed boy to a man, a real sigma man. Naruto has his struggles, with kyuubi, the disapprove of the villagers (even though it doesn't make sense), Sasuke etc. But he always falls back into his naive world view which makes him less believable. And luffy is... Clinical retarded. He has his moments with aces death, but then is back to be naive. He fights to the end for his friends with fierce, but this he does since the beginning, nothing new. For the side cast I have to give it to one piece. All of them has good ones, but naruto loses here clearly. Why bleach has great side characters, they often got forgotten or put aside for newer ones or story development like tatsuki, Chad, hinamori, ganju, nel. While in one piece they get all to shine, some more then others, but no one gets really forgotten. That reflects, that the fights take longer to finish, but the fights are more even, that's why I would put one piece here also over bleach. Naruto wins in terms of fights here, cause it has the best balance. Bleach struggles to much with uneven fights and weird power scalling. The 4. Point I would give to bleach. It took 63 episodes, but then aizens scheme pull off and it was just whoa... He is and was the main antagonist, I was a but bothered that they put him kinda like a helper in the Manga later, but going for the original series it was clear from the "beginning". Naruto I would put last here. They have good villains, but always comes someone more stronger with a more sinister plan, and everyone was using everyone and Jesus... Ahh naruro converts them. First orochimaru, then akatsuki with pain, ah no was a pawn of obito who was replacement for madara who was manipulated by zetsu to bring back kaguya... Come on, man. One piece has alot of good villains, but it's too much. To have one, big, intimidating villain is best. With 5 I disagree in favor of bleach. Naruto female cast sucks, kishimoto doesn't know how to write female characters. I would give it to bleach for the same reason I take Ichigo over luffy. The characters are more normal, for Shonen standards. Orihimes love for Ichigo, her friendship but same time jealousy towards rukia is so human. Rukia who being the anchor for almost everyone, while struggling with her own insecurities. Take this with Nani and Robin, I don't see any of a struggle close to that. The side characters may have not a strong, clear goal, but most of if them are shinigami. They are more or less developed and that gets mostly good shown. Like Matsumoto, soi fon, nel, unohana. You get a roundup of her character and for the pacing that's good enough, at least for me. They have their back stories without putting the drama 12/10 like in one piece. In one piece no character, with a shown back story, has a normal one, all is traumatizing to the maximum. But it barely never reflects to their current time (the only ones I can think of spontaneously would be zorro and sanji). In one piece the goal of the characters is their raison detre, without this they would be nothing. They have their quirks and personalities, but are all in all too goofy and lack of depth. It works good, though the world is the most crazy one of these three. But compared it loses. In general is the plot, from point of the main character is too child like. They come to an island, they get in trouble, they fight and celebrate. This is, except direct before the time skip with sabaody and marine Fort, always like this. It doesn't feel like there is something on the stake. The rest I can aggree.
ma man, u basicly said bleach's cast is better cuz its more normal, same goes to Ichigo, Ichigo is a relatable in a intresting way, but the rest of the cast is way to basic and boring (Orihime, Rukia, Nel, Soi fon etc) thay do have cool moments and are cool and colected tho. and again about luffy, u cant find a better main char for the world of OP than the "clinic retard" luffy. before i started wathing anime and reading a lot of manga, manhwa, LNs etc. i was watching a lot of TV shows, dramas and TV series and that is the reason i dislike and i dont find intresting "relatable" cuz bleach's cast is exacly like most of the normal TV show and TO ME that is a minus. i would always prefer over the top insane stuff, insane way of thinking and the reason behind it, wild, deep and different philosophies etc. that's way i love fiction man.

@@kingcsage6824ichigo is def better of a mc than the other two since his goals actually make sense and it would be what you would feel if you were in his place. All he wants is the strength and ability to protect the people he loves and he's ready to do anything for it which is what makes him different than the other 2 since their goals are much more superficial. Also the side cast you're looking at is not even the main side cast, Nel appears for a few episodes and same with soi fon, rather look at uryu urahara and yoruichi who are much more of the main side cast
@@Ashes612 in fiction i want to read fiction, not somone that just want to protect his friends and live normal life. and is not just about the goal of the MC but the goal of the story as a whole. naruto's end story is ending the cicle of hate, one piece is freedom and dreams, bleach is finding and uderstanding urself and the problem is that he "finds himself" every arc and get a pawer up. and yea the side cast is great but not better than naruto's and one piece's
I definitely was caught off guard with some of your picks for power systems and transformations but i ultimately agree with the final product, i agree with that order
I think the only rankings I'd disagree with you is about One Piece having the Best Transformations and Bleach the 2nd best World Building. I'd put Bleach third and Naruto in second when it comes to World Building cause World Building isnt just about different environments but also about how the world came to be as it is. As for transformation I'd 100% give it to Bleach with all the different and unique Bankai transformations.
The Only take in your Video i don't agree with is on antagonists. Imo Aizen >>> Obito. And I'm not a fanboy just saying this, The only thing obito has got over aizen is Backstory, everything else (Goal, Depth, Development, Complexity, Methods,Parallels, Dynamics, Charisma, motivation, Dialogue, Monologue) Aizen mops the floor with him, and aizen had a better and reason to be the antagonist than obito. I also think Overall Bleach Antagonists are far better than Naruto since naruto only has one trope of being broken heroes, bleach antagonists are diverse ( Ex. Aizen's Ambition, Ulquiorra's Nihilism, Yhwach's Conquest for Success, Jugram's Conflict b/w Loyalty and Friendship, Tosen's conflict b/w Justice and Vengeance) .
imo, bleach should have taken the transformation and power scaling catergory. In the video you talked about only luffy and his gear 5, but all of bleach has insane transformations which in general look amazing and have perfect scaling. The different sets of powers are unique, and I get why you think fighting with their limbs is kind of weird in a "sword" anime, but thats just how arruncers work, a single faction of the series. Spiritual pressure is written perfectly from what it is, to how they used it. How everything is held up by spiritual pressure and how it supports every power the show comes to show how well written it is.

i have read both, i have to say, one piece world building is overrated, its still best in the big three but bleach is really close i would rate bleach 9.79 rating for world building if one piece is 9.8 rated, the only real advantage i see for one piece is that the manga had perfect sun moon formations before timeskip and at times you see one building somewhere and after a few chapters luffy is fighting and that one random building is there (one piece is never perfect i really think bleach in the 13 episode have better world building than one piece but bleach is at the peak and in the last arc whereas one piece is only entering the final saga with a few more arcs to go so i think one piece at peak would also reach the peak of anime)

I love Bleach and Ichigo, but I gotta be honest his inner struggle felt a little too edgy for me especially around the Fullbring arc and TYBW
He is also a very reactionary character. This means that he has a very simple end goal. For example in tybw ichigo had the same goal to protect soul society like everyone else and started feeling like a side character, so kubo added dramatic exposition to link ywach to his moms death.
I'm almost 30 and OP is the best, Bleach is my 2nd

Extra material should not be needed. It should be a nice addon not patch notes.
Overlord taking this concept to its max in that you need both the anime and LN to actually follow the story(as the aurthor intentionly make important plot points exclusive to one of the mediums)

I would go with Bleach > Naruto > One Piece
i wouldve never expected kaname and komamura to be top 10 liked characters
I’m like that🦍
@@shounencast DID ichigo or aruto ever ran away from a villai?
Bleach’s story is fantastically done and doesn’t really have plot holes, much of the final arcs issues have to do with kubo’s declining health than bad writing. Disagree with its animation as well as it’s been amazing with very little drops. It also explains how espqda transformations and full bringers fit into the world.
manga ye
og anime tho with random filler arcs at the worst times and creating plot holes by trying to shove filler characters in the main story ehhh
Yeah that fullbringer arc was fantastic
i believe it is fantastically done, but compared to one piece, it isnt fantastic at all, cant speak for naruto but from what ive seen in bleach and one piece, my no.1 and no.2 animes the story just isnt there for bleach
@@qualdran40 Compared to one piece it is still fantastic, especially with the anime helping to expand the story.
i mean idk about the anime expanding the story since ion anything bout the manga but I feel bleach has WAY better plot twist moments and reveals than one piece and more frequently aswell, but the story is so vacant and empty, besides the first 60 eps, the story is just one guy plotting against the soul king, either aizen or yhwach, it doesnt expand past that, and no other characters have ulterior motives, where as one piece, the story expands far past just the one piece, we got zoros plot of the strongest swordsman, robins of finding the real history, we even got non straw hats with dreams that we can follow like buggy now.

One piece-better story and world building
Naruto-better fights
Bleach- better character designs, better ost and villains and if we include the tybw arc, the animation is God tier 😊

One Piece on TOP!
I could agree to naruto by a hair but naruto shippuden drops below one piece's fights.
@@PokeMultiverse its honestly hard when it comes to fights comparing the big 3. They all do them differently or focus on certain aspects a bit more. Idk about the first part tho. If it takes like half the show to really get invested in your main characters, it may not be that good. But I like clone wars and it took a whole season for it to actually get good.
Bleach also def has a Gary Stu problem

Bleach: Best character design
Naruto: Best fight choreography (don’t even try to debate this 💀)

That was the best comparison I've ever seen. Idk why people downplay one piece character art so much. The fact is it's so unique and good, it's not like other anime, oda always come with different unique designs and theme in every new arc while others manga writers just barely change the tune or face shape (not saying in a disrespectful way). I've also noticed that oda is even focused on small details like nose, ear shapes etc. Other artists don't put much of efforts on these things they just draw a line or two and make these things
Glad you enjoyed, and yeah like you said, Oda is one of the few mangaka who really switches up his character design. Truly inspirational how versatile his art is.

not to be surprised, they were
I mean they weren't even the strongest in the end, both Madara and Kaguya (though not fodderizing them) were clearly above them in the scalling, and we saw tons of other characters show power in their own ways (not just raw strength) to rival that of them. For me, Naruto is still the Best MC among the big 3, I know how Luffy can truly inspire many people, without Luffy, many characters will not reach their full potential. the power system of one piece is not just devil fruits and haki, you have technics like jimbe's karate or the king punch in th dressrosa tournment, and devil fruits have such a limitless possibilitys like katakuri having the mochi fruit but being as strong as luffy in whole cake, and his power is literally controlling a soft candy

Actually a pretty good video for being a Big 3 ranking video, which those types of videos are usually dumpster fires, even when I agree. Good video.
We only spit facts around here😌
I honestly think that you can say any of the big three are the best.
IMO opinion One Piece takes all of those especially themes extremely easily
@@Gin-San101 thematically, one piece is easily the worst to me. Freedom as a theme while cool is generally overdone in media, and while I like it in one piece, I don’t necessarily think it has done a whole lot with that theme yet, (we’ll probably see more in this last saga of the manga now though
@@bruis1527 every theme can be considered "overdone"
Vagabond is highly respected for its themes of enlightenment and finding yourself, that's been done numerous times
Berserk, growing and becoming a better person despite all of the pain and tribulations, a theme that's been done since the beginning of storytelling.
One Piece is easily one of the best depictions of freedom hands down, from Luffy to the villains themselves. Wdym not done much with? It's one of the most consistent themes from start to now in One Piece.
At the end of the day in my opinion One Piece blows the other two out the water in every comparable aspect, Including themes.
@@Gin-San101 the theme has definitely been there throughout all of one piece sure, but it definitely hasn’t been fleshed out completely. Luffy wants to be the freest man in the world, but what does that mean? The world has definitely set itself up perfectly to explore this theme with the clash in dynamic between pirates and world government, but until we learn more about Im, the void century and luffys dream, I can’t whole heartedly say that the story’s theme feels as complete as the themes of the importance of growing bonds and maturing with those around you in Naruto, or acknowledging all aspects of yourself and embracing them in bleach
@@bruis1527 I'm not solely talking about luffy's freedom, I'm talking about how it's depicted throughout the story which includes all the characters.
By growing and changing with others in Naruto do you mean only the obvious trio but kakashi and sometimes shika? I feel Naruto in that department was extremely weak, nobody besides Naruto and sasuke and kakashi are fleshed out in konoha and kishi never put in the work for the side cast to make you feel for them and appreciate how they all grown with each other. There multiple characters in OP that did the acceptance of self theme better, Robin and Doffy for two.
Also freedom isn't the only theme in OP
Inherited will
Racism
Genocide
Slavery
Classism
Revolts against Racism and Slavery
Showing how both sides can be evil
Dictatorship
Found family
Secret governments and covert psyops
Fascism
Manipulation of the masses
I just woke up so I'm most likely missing more but those are also tropes that exist in OP hence why I say one piece easily clears the other two in themes, not to mention the themes you listed are done better in OP.

Honestly I’m a anime loving guy your description made so much sense good job

@@shounencast welcome 🤗
the big 4 is stronger than those 3 fodders.
the big 4's members are luffy , buggy , mr.3 , bon-chan
and of course the big 4 are universal and hyper-noob-versal.
@@kingcsage6824 Nel 🤣🤣, The Rukia one surprised me because she had the most character development out of the 4 but I can tell you didn't finish bleach and probably stopped after soul society. Either that or you have 0 comprehension skills
@@Jaheemjb oh... really? teach me where she start from and where is she now, and how is made intresting and unique. tell me about her, cuz i guess i had missed somthing to make her above A tier char. i agree on byakuya he's development is great, i am all ears about rukia
World building go to Bleach over Naruto not even close, you need to read the light novel, because it is very complex not just 3 worlds
Keep up the GREAT work on this channel! I love your videos, really. Though I wish Naruto had a few more points.
Thanks!
@@shounencast no problemo
Op has the best side casting it’s just disrespectful not not have it at first in all of anime
It’s not disrespectful because bleach has an incredible side cast
@@shounencast it's not disrespectful but it's your opinion
My choice would be one piece>>>>>>>> bleach (in side cast)
Bleach characters lacks more emotions on them expect for starkk espada no1 i didn't feel any concern for the rest
And op had best and inspirational side characters like shanks, roger, oden, jimbei, sanji, zoro, law, whitebeard, marco, corazon, bon clay, garp, noland and kalgara, Chopper's father, fishman tiger, boa, kuma, sengoku, Rayleigh, fujitora 🐐 all these people are extremely well written than entire bleach cast
I'm yet to name more people
