Hi 83 crew Pilot 83 here with a new tutorial for the F-35 lighting II by Indiafoxtecho. In this video we will cover how to work the basics of the F-35's autopilot from setting altitude, speed, vertical speed, and heading. I will also go over how to get the F-35 to follow a flight plan/route you have created. This video is beginner friendly. Well just bought this engineering masterpiece for Series X platform and let's see how easy I can get with this machine in the sky.
Every tutorial I watch they all have those numbers in the box’s to click and change but whenever I load in no matter what I do I don’t have those numbers or the x’s to click and allow to change the altitude or heading or anything. I’ve been trying to figure this out for hours and every tutorial I watch either skips a big step or my games just screwed. What am I doing wrong?
Your next group flight should make a quick stop at the Mach loop :)
Need a way to adjust the HMD readouts. The available brightness settings don't help much and often the airspeed and altitude are unreadable to me.
Now it aperantly doesnt work most of these boxes in the autopilot are different or missing.
I didn’t see anything for auto pilot approach. Do you have a video. Or could you do one?

Does anyone know how to get get negative vertical speed to decend? There's no - symbol. Can only seem to get a positive v/s hold climb but can't figure out how to decend!

Everyone just so people know there is no tutorial on how to use the damn VOR/ILS option in the F-35 i tried typing in a VOR/ILS frequency but the auto pilot doesn't follow that so if anyone out there knows how to get the damn thing working without a flight plan let me know
Can you do the ils approach in the F-35? My plane, although it has the ils frequency entered and I can see pink lines from the ils after pressing the ils approach button, does not want to perform the automatic approach
Has ILS been figured out yet? We've tried it a few times, and while it successfully locks on to the ILS freq of your runway, and can even line up for the approach, it does not descend properly on the glide scope once you're on final. It wants to a drop to a 10-20 degree nose dive ending with a crash. We've tried it multiples times across all models, different airports, and same results. Seems like a bug?

Hi pilot0083 I’m having a problem with my f35b when I’m in hover mode it’s says v/s hold and I can’t deactivate it also when I am trying to land vertically I doesn’t let me and I can’t deactivate the alt hold when it’s on and it turns on automatically when I’m hovering and idk what to do pls help

I have problems with the ILS in the F35 and the F14!at the approach the planes roll around and crashes into the ground!Do you have any ideas what i do wrong???...sorry for my bad english by the way 😅
I noticed with the F-14 you gotta take off and be in a hands free flight and then turn NAV mode on and as long as your going 150 at a altitude of 2500 you should hit the ILS every time, but some times it can be like slightly off track and you'll end up landing on the edge of the runway instead of near the middle lmao
You don't have to! 😅 i found the mistake!it turns out the ils don't like the landing assistent!So i turn it off and everything is now under controll 😉 but i appreciate your help!!!keep up the great content!greetings from germany 😊
