- I recently completed a rear Resonator Delete on my Dodge Challenger. While many people make videos on this, No one has shown the sound of the exhaust with Sport Mode enabled. So this video, will show you a before and after sound comparison of the Exhaust sounds with Sport mode enabled.

Dude I love it I grin every time I accelerate 😂. Really brings the v6 to life
It 100% does. Can't lie, I miss mine sometimes. Traded it in just over a year ago.
If you put your sxt in ACC mode with the push button start, then push the gas slowly to the bottom, and lift just as slow until you foot is off the gas, turn the car off after doing that, then turn the car over, the throttle will be recalibrated, and your car will sound louder, and have a quicker response time. I do it once every 3 months
Very interesting.. wish I would have knew this lol.
This was exactly the video I was looking for! Thanks brother
Same getting my rear res’s cut off in the morning 👌🏻
Definitely sounds better than stock! Doing mine ASAP. 😎
Tell me how fools gonna see nice ass cars and hit them because they wanna park cheek to cheek with them 🙄😂
I don't understand it myself lol. I feel sometimes it's on purpose which drives me crazy.
Thanks for making this video thinking ab doing this for my 2020 challenger sxt love the way it sounds in the video and great job on the comparisons can’t wait to do this to mine!
Its really worth. It was the best $100 and something bucks I ever spent lol.
Thank you for making this video! It sounds loud but not too loud to where it becomes irritating. Does this affect the cars performance in anyway or gas mileage? Thinking about getting mines done but didn't want it to mess up the engine (if that's a thing).
I didn't really study the gas mileage, but I have seen any difference. I feel I get the same amount of miles.
I think it's really worth it, definitely makes the car sound like it should in my mind.
@@BigCVlogs perfect! I found a muffler shop that can do it for $140. Wish me luck
Sounds sick bro! And not too loud.. I’m considering this on mine
I honestly loved mine. Gave me something close to the V8 without the cost or extra gas lol.
I got a 2022 sxt rear muffler delet and I love it. Mine pops big time around 6500 rpm 🎉
I love the pops. I didn't get those since I keep the mufflers.
@@BigCVlogs still sounds great 👍 anyways!!!!
do you notice any drone or resonance? I am thinking to do same to my 2022 challenger gt.
@@bibeklama7920 I won’t lie there is some drone but you get used to it.
@@bibeklama7920 with keeping the mufflers, I DID NOT notice any drone noise.
Great video.
Did you gain or lose noticeable horsepower?
I've heard 2 different things...
To be 100% honest, I never saw any gain or decrease in horsepower. My car seemed exactly the same, it just sounded like a muscle car and not a Prius. 🤣
Their should be a increase because of less restrictions on the car and flow
I just got a dent just like that. Some BS😠
on a 2015 and up, pop the black blinker centers out, remove the plastic engine cover and put a hell cat airbox lower for ram air and it really will sound mean.
Is this stock with a rear resonator delete, or do you have anything else on the exhaust system?
Stock with the rear delete.
@@BigCVlogs Thanks for the quick reply. I've been contemplating doing this to my challenger and your video helped
So how much should I be paying for something like this? Not tryna get finessed out my pocket but want it to sound nicee
I'd say anywhere from $125-$175.
Thank's for the video.
Just curious, do you notice any drone or resonance in the 1500 to 2000 RPM range. Also notice any rasping at the 3000rpm shift point?
Thank's, Jim.......
I never noticed any noise that I didn't think sounded great lol. It didn't match a v8 but makes it at least sound like it should of from the factory lol.
Hey jim. Look into J pipes. They eliminate drone. Even if you were to have a full open straight piped exhaust
So just tell the shop I want a rear resonator delete and that’s it ? I like the way your chally sounds
I have a 2013 sxt but it’s silent af 😂
I know the feeling, yes, just tell them you want a Resonator Delete and it should sound about the same.
@@BigCVlogs appointment set for tomorrow. I can’t wait 😎 😎
@@natethegr8883 nice!!! Your going to love it. It sound a lot more like it should of sounded directly from Dodge lol. It will be great.
Got it done . Loving it 😎 I’ll make a video soon
Any droning?
Yes. But it's not unbearable. Enough to where you hear it and feel it in between gears. It brings life to the challenger
Where did you get your go pro bro? Been trying to find one
I got this one off Amazon. I actually made a video on it as well lol. It didn't come in a fancy box, so I saved $75 or so on the GoPro. No issues so far and almost had it 2 years.
Thanks for the reply bro, awesome I’ll look it up
Just got the same car thinkin bout doing this aswell. Any problems show up
I never had a single issue. I loved it everytime I drove the car because it sounded more like it should and not like a Prius. 😂 I'd highly recommend. Well work the $100-$150.
@@BigCVlogs bet that up
Did u install a cold air intake or is it stock ?
Stock, only did the resonator delete.
Ok thanks
basically what does sport mode do ?
From what my dealer told me, it just allows higher rpms and faster shifts. Not very much from my understanding lol.
I believe the steering and suspension are also tightened up. You can also run without sport mode with tighter steering etc etc . It’s all in the settings. I also use sport steering. Less correcting for sure.
I got sport in my 2015 SXT challenger but when I press it , it don’t pop up how do I fix the problem ??????
After you get rid of the muffler what pipe do you use?
Most just add a straight pipe I believe.
looks like Charlie lindgreen!
Had to Google him, but I can agree lol.
