Welcome back!! Today I am sharing my personal handbag collection with you. I will be selling many of the handbags in my personal collection on Poshmark and Ebay in order to buy a Luxury Bag I've been wanting for a while. I'm debating between Gucci, Louis Vuitton, YSL & Chanel. I'd love to know your thoughts. Most likely I will end up buying a pre-loved bag, but I share retail prices with you in this video. I went to list a Coach bag I haven't worn in a long time, but then remembered it was my first "real" nice purse I got on the Mother's Day the year I finally graduated from carrying a diaper bag...Can't sell it! 💕
You may consider stuffing your bags so they keep shape and store them outside of the trunk so the leather can breath.
I stuff all my good bags too. It takes up more room but its worth it because the leather can get them creases thats hard to get out.
Lori, you need to let go of some of those bags lol... I just kept saying to myself, watch her say "I think I'm going to keep it" lol... IMO, you should go all out and buy the Chanel bag. Two years ago I got 3 Public Relation clients for big events here in NYC in one month, which was unusual for me since I'm a stay at home mom with two little ones, but I did it. All of the sudden I got all this extra money and decided to buy me some classic bags and Manolo shoes. I bought some LV bags that I love love love and use but something was missing lol... THAT CHANEL BAG. Last year I saved and got it from The Real Real. My dream bag, nothing like a CHANEL. I would trade my entire LV collection for another one. Here's why: 1) I feel like a million dollar girl, 2) Classic, it will never go out of style, 3) super versatile: I wear with jeans, dresses, everything. Get a Chanel. You deserve it. All the other ones in 5 t0 10 years will look old compared to that classic Chanel gag. Love the video!

This was so much fun to watch. You have a great collection. I happen to LOVE your Burberry. I'd probably consider a new LV bag over the other 2 but that's just me.
Not a bag person, but your Burberry bag is stunning! Use it more often. I am a crochet The Sak person now. I love their retro 60’s vibe, their back story, and they are vegan. Long story short - some really good LV knock offs are made by ‘harness makers’ who who made the real thing. There are urban legends that some ‘knock offs’, for spite, are better than the real thing. Could you do a future vlog on why handbags are an investment?

I am 46 myself and I am a big fan of Louis Vuitton and Channel but they are out of my league. Love the padded Channel bag that you are planning to buy. The Cole Hahn and black Coach bag are my favorites out of the ones you are selling. You are a lucky woman!
Get s Chanel I have the caviar classic one, I was manager for LVMH and collected lots of LV and Fendi bags because they gave managers a clothing allowance so I only got bags; I was also a manager for Barneys and purchased a YSL, Balenciaga,Celine Givenchy but when I purchased my first Chanel all the others stayed in the closet. I carry my Chanel when I’m in sneakers, ripped jeans and T-shirt and when I get dressed up and go out for an evening. I purchased it at the Chanel store because I wanted be 100 percent sure it was authentic. GET THE CHANEL!!!!

I have the LV reverse monogram and I love it. It’s the perfect size. I love the other bags but I feel like you would not use them enough. Cant wait to see what you get!

It's just great that you've come up with a vlogmas alternative and made it your own, love that! Hi Lori, based on what you said your current style is and how you use your bags, I would suggest you sell the lululemon gym bag, the brown suede, and the first black one (from Japan) I know you said that some of those have memories and so it’s hard to let go but price them high and if they sell at a price you’re happy with then great. And if they don’t sell, then also great because you’ll still get to keep it.
Also, the channel bag has been on my wish list for the longest. So that’s #1 for me but after seeing your LV options, I love that all black. I didn’t realize that YSL was priced on the lower end (in comparison) so that’s a nice option.

I literally just bought myself a coach fanny pack for Christmas. They are THE BEST bins bags. I wear it backwards or across my back like a sling bag. Don't knock it til ya try it!
You look good in a fanny pack! I keep thinking I should wear one to the bins, bc even the crossbody can get in the way after hours of thrifting!

💕I recently went through through the same process and purchased two LV bags, and just got a gucci for my bday. This pandemic 2020 has me upgrading my collection, and selling all of my old collection (many Coach, when Coach was classic ) 😉. Also been loving some Tory Burch lately. 💕
I found an authentic YSL downtown tote from a local goodwill and paid only $6. I had it authenticated at the Purse Forum online because I wasn't sure. I had a feeling it was real but wasn't familiar with the brand. My girls kept telling me to sell it because I resell alot. I ended up keeping it because I'll never ever find another deal like that. I've bought all my designer bags pre-loved. I have rehabbed many. My LV and Gucci, some of the lining that was either sticky or so dried out like a Gucci bucket bag was. I cleaned up and now the pockets and linings are completely usable. They we're really completely trash b4 doing the work on them. I've bought many Gucci with bamboo handles very cheap because they needed fixed because of the bad linings. It's not as good as a brand new lining but I don't mind and many others don't mind either because they resold very quickly. Have a great day 😀

Loved looking at all your treasures. Get the LV. You love brown bags. I thought the reverse was really nice. The 2 tone made it pop. Don't settle for a bag because it's lower in price.

My vote is for either the LV all black or YSL bag. I personally feel the other options are either too trendy or not as practical but that's just my two cents. :) I went a little crazy for vintage Coach (1980s and 90's) a couple months ago and bought about 7 or 8 of them off Poshmark so I know what you mean. That leather is the best! Good luck. :)
Omg, I’m also getting influenced by English fashion Vloggers! Is it a British Invasion. Every time I go on RUclips I get suggestions for different ones and I’ve been bingeing them. I’m a reseller like you but because of them I actually did a vlogmas video for Black Friday shopping because of them! I also been obsessing over Chanel, YSL, and instead of the Louie, I see a Chloe bag I want, ugh! I love Chloe bags. Okay, so out of all the purses, I say get the black, brown and beige Louis bag. Because you’ll get more use of it. If we were going out more, I say the Chanel or YSL and you had the money to have a going out lux bag.
How much did it cost to paint the LV tote? I would love to do that to my tote.
Well Lori, If I had a choice of the bags you like I would choose the Reversible LV bag. I am really not into those brands, they do not impress me. I rather take that money and put it into something else or pay a bill lol. I was never into bags that much. I used to love the Vera Bradley, they are inexpensive, gorgeous colors, washable and light weight. However; lately I am taking a liking to Coach. I only have one Coach a gorgeous blue large leather bag. It was my present to myself when I earned my MBA. I only used to for work and not for everyday because I knew what it cost me lol. Lately, I am having a liking to Coach bags. I was in a thrift store looking at the collectables giftware and went to look at the bags on my way out. I saw this gorgeous Coach bag. I could not believe it was $4.99. When I got home, I researched the bag and it is selling for $400 online. I was so happy with that purchase. It is like brand new and it is Authentic. Lori, if you have your heart set on one of those bags, you do well selling on Poshmark that you could take your earnings you make, and buy one to treat yourself! OR better yet Jay could surprise you for Christmas and buy you one. It is only a drop in the bucket since he is a Partner in the Big 4 CPA firm That is probably just a days pay for him lol (kidding) but it is true.

I wont buy luxury bags from Amazon because they cant do quality control from third party sellers. Not really their fault. Then again, ebay and Poshmark cant really control that either. I think I was scammed on Poshmark so I rather wait for sales and buy from Nordstrom or Neiman or any of those department stores. I rather spend $1000 on a guarantee than $400 on a fake. But that's my opinion. By the way, I enjoyed your video.

Get that Chanel! LV are a dime a dozen, unless they’re a cool limited edition like the Masters paintings collection. I collect Vera Bradleys myself, but I say get the very best quality you can.
The draw to Chanel is real, but I love that LV...going to be a tough call. I think it is between those two!

Haha I love it!! I love limoncello!! Yes!! My son was studying there and my husband, daughter and I decided to catch a bus two hours before they closed! We beelined for Gucci with only an hour to shop! We had a blast!

The new bags you are considering are a completely different vibe than your handbag collection. I assume this is what you are going for :) IMO you didn't really seem very excited about several of the bags you are considering. I would encourage you to not let bloggers/YT'ers influence your own preference. Go put your hands on each of the bags you are considering. My 2 cents is if you don't feel that instant joy (you know that feeling when you find something you love and you know it's going to go home with you :) don't get it. Spending that much money on a handbag ... you should definitely get one that makes your heart happy every time you look at it . IMO, the black LV doesn't look luxury to me. Maybe in person it's better. Out of all the options my pic would be the YSL.

I have never understood the love affair with designer handbags. There are so many independent or less expensive bags that last a long time. But I have always enjoyed craftspeople who design and make leather products.

I personally think that all black leather LV OR the Gucci would be the better choices. The Chanel and YSL is a pass, both of them are just swimming in the hype right now.
I watch Learningtobefearless here on YT and she has the Chanel. It just seems so BULKY - that thick double gold chain clangs together and just seems obnoxious haha, not for everyday use.
The YSL is eh, target made great dupes. I even think Tory Burch did too. Maybe spend a little more time browsing therealreal and see if you come across a unique rarer brand!

I would get either the Black Louie or the Chanel. The YSL is beautiful, but I think YSL is hot now and may not be hot in 3 years.
I don’t see you with the Gucci Dionysus. I see you with the first Pochette Métis that you showed. That fits best with your fabulous hippie chic vibe. The Chanel Flap goes with everything, though. What if you got a brown one? I can’t wait to see what you get!
Gucci is too "fancy" and will probably sit in your hope chest with the rest of them lol....Chanel is beauty, YSL is one of my personal favs, but you absolutely lit up with that LV black leather! I think you already know what to get 🥰 not to mention...its more of an every day bag
