I get a lot of czech-mates when I play the slav

This reminds me of the Lc0 line in London in the sense that it's a gambit for rapid development, but both sides need to know the engine lines, or else they're in big trouble. Stockfish gives a worrisome +1.1 for White in this opening, but after the top suggested move, 13. Be2, says it's an equal position. And when your opponent played the inaccurate Bd3, the evaluation plummeted to -5.2. That's so wild!

Nc4 rook takes bishop e2, you can’t take back with the knight because it’s pinned to the king by the bishop
