@@evaneugenescott I'm playing otb recently, I have a decent repertorie against e4 (I'm an e4 player myself). But the two strongest opponents i play against are both d4 players. I'm really not solid against d4. I usually go for meaningless aggression and pay the price
@@neeru7298 what do you play against E4? I’ve tried a lot of things but nothing seems to be consistently competitive for me. When I do the Caro, the advance leaves me really cramped
@@evaneugenescott guess what, I play the Caro, It's my favourite opening. You should try Alex raccomandation in the advanced (the Botvinnik-Carls). I have the highest winrate in the advanced. You have literally free access to a masterclass, watch his Caro Kann climb many times ( I still rewatch it when i feel the need) and try to get the first moves right and get a sense of the main ideas of the opening. I think the caro is his best series so far, he explains these things in such a simple and effective way.
I was kinda desperate against 1d4, but your first game really sold me the Slav.
If you play the London as white it feels really like the easiest approach as a beginner

@@neeru7298 thanks for the tips
TIL IMs are pretty good at chess! The way you squeezed the win from an even position in g1 was very impressive. Bravo.
Thanks a lot! Felt like I was better the whole time tho🤔
@@AlexBanzea that’s why you’re an IM and I’m a 2000

Is the "Reversed London" playable after 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nf3 Bf5 ?! It seems black is under severe pressure after 5.cd cd 6.Qb3 .
