Xigbar didn't die. He went back to the Foreteller's and also went back to being Luxu.
Sora: What's this?
Luxord: Battle City rules says I give the winner my rarest card
This is such an underrated comment
It's because only a pro duelist can understand this comment 😎
Maybe in the next game or dlc he could use the card to summon him?
OH FOR FUCK SAKE I JUST REALIZED WHAT THE WILD CARD DOES IT WILL MEAN THAT WHEN KH4 COMES OUT (or the next game) IT WILL JUST BE A CHAIN OF MEMORIES 2 (gameplay wise)

I love the fact that Larxene was strongly hinting she was dealing with Xehenort's crap again because of Marluxia. Those two are as thick as theives sometimes I swear.
They knew each other as Humans.
@@HyperShadow810 not just that. It seems Larxene has a thing for Marluxia as well.

Those two are just as tight as Axel and Roxas. They are only one number apart and became friends almost immediately. Even when they were recompleted beforehand, they both became Nobodies again and rejoined the Organization probably just because the other did. Even though they're both antagonists and it makes sense we don't spend too much time with them, I wish we did just because I'd love to learn more ^^
Young Xehanort is a great example of a rage quitter.
The guy who made us rage quit in BBS turned out to be a rage quitter himself, nearly brimming with irony here.

Ahh, he is still a teenaged boy after all lol
well,he just is a salty chessplayer
He wasnt wrong though
Luxord is the clear definition of good sportmanship.
also, Young Xehanort got the worst ending: he's stuck in an endless time loop.
good sportsmanship? nice joke, the only thing he did in piratesworld was cheating right after saying he doesnt like to cheat
@@lpfan4491 I mean he's like let's have a fair race and you all agree. The race starts and Jack looks Sora in the eye like Sora let's try out those cannons. So if you think about it we cheated first lol.
i mean like...i tried to sink him,but that does not need to happen.even if you dont fire at all,he still bullshits you all across the world.and after one win,he still attacks for a round 2
As far as the race went, the rules seemed to be that whoever got to Port Royal first would win. He never said that they couldn't try to sink the competition or summon help. He was rather open-ended as far as the rules are concerned. Young Xehanort thinks that he will eventually be where Master Xehanort is now and that he will win. He is wrong, but hindsight only works after the fact. Makes hindsight almost useless in the present if you think about it.
i kinda wonder what happens if you sink his ship.it seems impossible without hacks,so i just assume the game does whatever
xigbar faked his death not once but twice what a badass
He likely has live times worth of experience.
I mean... All of the Org 13 died more than once. Lea died plenty of times throughout the KH series.

@@senorpato3587 right? Lol maybe even more off screen.
MT Terra is a cat, 2 more lives until hes REALLY NOT COMING BACK TO LIFE.
Is nobody gonna talk about how even after all he has been through that Riku Replica still loves Namine so much he was willing to just give up a chance at a normal life just so she could have one? That shit down right made me cry, he was one of the most genuine characters in this game 😢😢
I was so excited for Replicu to be his own character seeing how much he loved Namine so I’m sad thats not gonna happen but I’m glad he went out on his own terms
Him and Vanitas pretty much went down believing what they wanted to believe.
Repliku with giving up his life for Namine & Vanitas to starting with darkness despite the others pleas’
I heard in the original Japanese dub, the line Replica Riku said translated to “Take care of her”, a nod to the first game ending when the door to “Kingdom Hearts” was closing, when Riku said to Sora to take care of Kairi. The line we got, however, in the English version was “Good luck.”
ShadowMikey Dude same, BIG MOOD!
ShadowMikey
I still don’t understand any of this.... ignoring the confusing nature of how Namine was even made (being that she was made from Sora’s body so shouldn’t that technically make her Sora’s Nobody?) why are we all of a sudden looking to separate Roxas and Namine from Sora and Kairi? I thought both of them returned to them willingly and were fine with the arrangement and are now complete. Actually come to think of it, how are they even supposed to bring them back if the Nobodies are the body that was left behind when a strong willed person loses their heart? And on top of that, how are you even supposed to put either of them into a replica of neither of them even have hearts to begin with if they’re the empty shell left behind? None of this makes a lick of sense
“& Become that geezers heart tank, no thanks”.
She is a mood
EXACTLY lmao when she says "urgh. xemnas." when he shows up in the middle of their conversation kjngvfz
John Cena I cannot wait to see more of her, Luxord, or Marluxia, in KH4.
Did you see how much she emotes in re: Chain of Memories? She was a mood and a mood beyond the level of a mood.
She’s our tsundere princess, and we love her for it.
But didn’t she already become a heart tank at that point ? 😂 a little too late
I’m going to miss Xemnas’s Voice.
God it’s actually the only Villain voice that Intimidated me in a video game.
I know Anti Aqua isn't a Villain, but she sounds really amazing. Much darker and really sad. That would make a great villains voice too. A Girls, who lost everything and is on a rage because of that. Should be aquas standart voice
Marluxia's voice was oddly soothing to me.
It's possible he could come back. Maybe as his own self. Then we can hear his beautiful voice again :)

That was the very moment that Marluxia died and Lauriam resurfaced. Broke my heart to watch him fade after he retrieved his lost memories.
Here is a comforting thought: Zexion and Lexaus got their somebodies back because Sora beat them with the keyblade and freed their hearts, Larxene, Marluxia, Luxord, and Xemnas were all defeated by Sora in Re:Mind. They will all four likely be in the next main title game as their somebodies.

I feel all these deaths are the best thing for these characters. Ansem’s final speech I think is the perfect way to conclude before the final Xehanort battle.
Agreed, he was the last one I defeated. Ironic really, but then irony seems to be consistent in this portion.
I think ansem had that part of xehanorts heart that made xehanort see reason to certain situations also I find it hilarious xion is shoe horned into this without being norted like riku replica 2 was
Felt way ro forced.
@@Clippychinw It seemed to me like Ansem resembled Terra more than Xehanort.
Except for Xehanort's death.
Watching Xigbar’s “death” again, I can see just how tired he is. He’s done his part, now Xehanort just has to win or lose the war, and he can bring the Foretellers back. He just has to act one more time for Sora and Riku.
And even just a simple act is _taxing_ at this point.
Especially when people are mocking him wanting a Keyblade when he’s one of the oldest wielders from his perspective.

@@jesseokoli2647 Thanks, this game brought out many emotions from me. I have had to avoid commenting my thoughts for fear of spoilers, but now that I can freely move about again I have a lot to say. Young Xehanort really does belong with the others because all three of them seem to share the same trait. They are all shown to be ignorant in one form or another and while the other two seemed to recognize this ignorance, Young Xehanort seemed to not even realize that he was ignorant of how things would end. In the end, he left thinking that he would stand victorious eventually and doesn't even realize that his efforts will fail.

Luxord and Marluxia being the ones who made me cry the most cuz of how they really departed, both on actually pretty good terms with Sora
Scare Crow Not just that but Luxord gave sora a wild card that as he calls it “can turn the tables.” Did Sora ever use it?
@@thomascalderon598 no I don't think so
it might play a part in KH4
@@scarecrow9239 He didn't but from what I heard once and this is only here say so don't quote me please if it is not too much trouble. I heard that this game would end the part in which Xehanort would be involved, but would not be the end of the franchise. We can see that with Maleficent and Pete still being loose. They are too dangerous to allow to wander around. Also I recently read that this whole arc involving Xehanort is only part one which means that things still have room to get very complicated in part two. I think that the card might end up playing a part if the creators remember it long enough. Luxord seemed to give that to Sora to ensure that he will have something if he is ever in a difficult situation where he cannot get out easily. It is a shame, he seemed to accept that he was nothing but a pawn and Marluxia seemed to embrace the emotions and memories he once mocked. Their endings were fitting for each of them in my opinion and helped in the characters in one way or another. As for young Xehanort, he is convinced that he will live out his life and eventually be the winner of the conflict in the future. He couldn't possibly be more wrong. Anyways that is just my thoughts on the matter. Feel free to agree, disagree or do whatever with what I have said.

I love that the Org. theme has changed over time to become more emotional. The original was cleverly simple and empty to represent their lack of emotion.
But now that it's been years and we know their origins and what they really feel/felt as people, it's hard not to see them in a more emotional light, and the music reflects that.
Too bad we cant download this version of the theme
Austin Lee I know what you mean! I want to listen to the new Organization theme! Someone must get into the game files and find this music segment to be uploaded!
In this game the music seems to play within the cutscene audio itself (i.e. when you pause it doesn't continue like it used to), I have a feeling people won't find it there. I may be wrong though.
But in any case, I have no idea why they haven't released the soundtrack yet, KH music is insanely popular and this game has a lot of reprisals of well-loved tracks.
I love how it is altered to fit each member.
@@thebastmaster Some of the music is what was used before. When I fought Marluxia I noticed that the theme playing is one of the ones that played when I fought him in castle oblivion. It really is quite fitting how this was done.
The way Xemnas says "Really?" so genuinely, that is such a revelation to him, is what gets me. That was such a unknown concept to him, and calls back to how he said "unfortunately.... l *don't* " when asked if he even remembers the feelings of a heart

Shaney Zamora once a story starts messing with time things get so messy due to the million theories behind time travel lol...
So basically regardless, things happen exactly as they happen now because each goes back to the time before they died at the hands of Sora or Riku.
However it confused me, if they retained their hearts and kept them going back to their own place in history...wouldn’t that change the course of events causing a time paradox? lol..maybe I’m thinking about it too much haha. It's an acceptable break from reality in my opinion. It's better the way it is, having the fight rage on in the background would have taken from the emotional impact.
@@yoghurt_monitoring9542 Well yeah it wouldve taken emotional impact but that its honestly the cost of framing something as a war. With each organization member that falls it seems as though we are reaching a conclusion. I've heard a lot of people gripe about how Kairi couldn't get away from Xemnas, and what those people failed to notice was just HOW he was holding her arm. The hold he had her in is one that is pretty much impossible to escape, AND he dislocated her shoulder. Her arm was twisted waaaay back, and lifted up as well. So not only is that wicked painful, but just plain impossible to escape from that grip.
Or he was simply too strong for her so she could have never escaped.
And Young Xehanort does the same to Sora in the Toy Story world.

0:30. Nomura confirmed that the wild card Luxord gave him is the key to reviving him after the events of ReMind. Xigbar asking “The question is, who are you, Luxord?” Takes on a whole different meaning.
Good to know. I really want to see Sora return and I suppose there is a certain irony in something like this being responsible for his return. That does make me question if Luxord knew what was going to happen to Sora and gave him the card because of that.
This is gonna be lame but.
Luxord: "you're in the endgame now"
*Thinks of the Corona Virus* Ah, Yes. Foreshadowing.
Xemnas was always the best villain in KH, even more than Xehanort himself
I musta missed this era I always liked the first ansem the most. But everyone likes xemnas
@@ZarelidT Same here.
In their death, we were equals - accepting the outcome and speaking like old friends.
I’m surprised no one is talking about Ansems death in this. He realised upon his defeat that there was more to the heart that makes it strong then just darkness, and tells Sora to go forth and seek more, and admits to Riku that he’s essentially overcome the darkness
Why does repliku have a better arc than kairi
Because kairi has only 1 goal and that is sora.
Cuz Namine, Xion and Aqua > Kairi
Because Replica Riku is a better character.
Because Kairi is more useful than xion

sora: hes over..... wait what the fuck
Something that I think is very telling mainly with Ansem and Xemnas is that darkness doesn't just have anger, hate, evil - they show that is also holds sorrow, uncertainty, loneliness, apathy, and regret. The seemingly unchangeable villains of the series realizing the strength of our heroes was very well done, I think.
Marluxia and Larxene are both from the timeline of the Ancient keyblade wielders somehow they came to this timeline just like ventus who was also from the ancient keyblade war timeline. Marluxia and Ventus both were leaders of union x but it seems they both lost their memory possibly from traveling so far in time
Yusei Shimura it really seems that at x Union Square a number of Union Keyblade Wielders are actually from other Timelines in the future
Some came from the world after the Keyblade War.
They were summoned by the Book of Prophecies and after the events it seems few were sent back to the present with no memory of the events that happened
It looks like Ventus is such a Wielder, and became a leader of Dandelions after the Keyblade War
@@christophersanchez7731 Play KH birth by sleep
Apparently luxord and demyx are supposedly apart of that timeline as they have "keyblade secrets" as well
Spectrum Night I did but if you played KH Union Cross then you’ll see Ventus is there too in the past before all this happened as a leader of the Unions
Meaning somehow Ventus was taken to the present at some point and became Apprentice to both Xehanort and Eraqus after that
@@christophersanchez7731 probably the same way we going to find out how Skuld did since shes the girl that was kept in the Raident Garden castle basement.
If there’s one thing KH3 did well, it was make the organisation members feel like more than just “bad guys”, even Ansem and Xemnas seemed graceful in defeat
Young Xehanort: "Screw this. I'm going home."
Sora: "You can literally prevent all of this from happening since you're the past version."
YX: "Nah." *Teleports away*
In fact he will not remember all of this when back in his time
Ok look, i didnt expect Kairi to be able to fight Xemnas by herself, of course not. But is it too much to ask that instead of being kidnapped AGAIN she shows a little bit of what she learned, makes her keyblade show up in her other hand, and stab Xemnas with it?
I agree. Waste of training if you ask me.
@TheKurlyKrew Sora hasnt had any official training other than lrarning from Merlin either. And Kairi said Merlin was training where "time doesnt matter", so if we're supposed to take that literally, that means Kairi probably had more practice and training than Sora did
If Xemnas was able to destroy Lea's Keyblade effortlessly with his barehands did you really expect Kairi who has less combat experience to do any better?
TheKurlyKrew I think what they meant really was for her to put up at least a little more of a fight than what she does in game. I do think Kairi should've at least have tried anything, as do recall she's used a keyblade longer than Lea and at least knew to combat heartless and regular nobodies due to her brief time wielding one in KH2 (even if it's her failing to hit Xemnas with it as he holds her, I don't expect her to somehow throw him on the ground and stab him).
Though the one thing I will say that bugs me in this game that's a super nitpick is: Lea effortlessly summoned his chakras and dark corridors in DDD, while I don't expect him to do it since he's a guardian of light (or even know how to do a corridor of light like the foretellers for that matter) I do wonder why Ienzo said none of the revived Organization members could do that stuff anymore considering Lea did all that in DDD. Obviously it's probably a retcon so none of them can just dark corridor Sora and Co. places or help out but it does bother me a bit.
Don't you know? Grabbing a keyblade wielder by their hand is their greatest weakness. Doing that make them completely powerless and unable to do anything. Just look at Sora in Toybox where Young Xehanort grabbed him by the hand.
0:24 How Sora gets into Smash.
Sora turns the tables!
Got news for you
@@thecatastrophe132 Oh trust me. I know.
Ah so that's why Waluigi hasn't gotten an invite yet sora killed the dispenser of invites and took the last card.
Never thought after what we been through from KH1 till now... We actually got the respect from Ansem himself.
Terra got the heart wrenching return he deserved. My precious boy.
Knowing Elrena and Lauriam are tied together makes so much sense for who Larxene was along for the ride with and why she helped Marluxia so much in CoM.
I really can't wait to meet them in another game, and meet Luxord's Somebody. As well as Demyx's. And learn the true names of the last two. Also learn why they're so shrouded in mystery.
As for Luxord's somebody, he's probably on Quadratum with Yozora
The feel when Ansem the heartless one has a more compassionate death then young Xehanort
It was kind of nice to see the awesome catching of a card from COM again lol.
Thought the same thing when luxord threw it to him. Everything about the card seemed like a nod to CoM
I have seen the Organization's deaths on youtube a few times. And EVERYTIME Luxord's hits me the hardest. I always tear up seeing it. I haven't played through the game. I'm still in the beginning (just left Olympus and exploring the space XD and finished getting the constellations there). Xemnas is the second saddest for me. Ansem and Marluxia are tied for third saddest deaths of the Organization.
When I first saw xmenas’s death I was still reeling in sadness from death after death, ESP Isa. So now watching it without that lingering feeling of sudden sadness. It hit me. He would never call them friends, because he enjoyed having them around and didn’t realize it until he had a heart.
Luxu's "death" did sound me fake for a reason.
He is worthy. For a damn good reason.
yep, and it's fun when you realised that the old man he was talking about was MoM when sora and riku thought that he was talking about Xehanort

I love how at the very end, you can see Larxene’s grin turn into a genuine smile.
Never noticed this before but Aqua's hair is really blue. But it's a nice blue.
If you pay close enough attention to Evil Replica Riku's death scene, you can hear the KH2 rendition of Riku's theme.
I'm still not over the one cutscenes with 3 different Rikus. And the fact that it's just David Gallagher (sorry if I misspelt that) talking to himself. Hell it's just Riku talking to himself.
That’s what loneliness does after a while
I still love the fact that you can tell the younger Rikus (or "Riku replicas" or whatever) apart from the older one by their voices. David simulated this fictional kid's puberty beautifully.
"I was really just along for the ride."
"Who with?"
"My secret..."
... DID LARXENE KNOW XIGBAR WAS REALLY LUXU?!
EDIT- yes, I'm 100% certain Larxene knew about Xigbar being Luxu.
Xemnas hints that members 9-through-12 of the original Org XIII had connections to Keyblade wielders. Those four are Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene. Of all those four, we only know one connection for definite- Marluxia was Lauriam, one of the five Dandelions that succeeded the Keyblade War. And we know, thanks to a cutscene in KHII, that he was recruited by none other than Xigbar, AKA: Luxu, who would have known Marly was Lauriam because Luxu had been watching the Dandelions since the end of the War [also meaning he knows Ventus used to be a Dandelion, just FYI].
If Xemnas knew 9-through-12 were connected to Keyblade wielders, he'd also have known Marly was Lauriam. He could only have known that if Xigbar told him- meaning, logically, he could only have known about the others' connections through Xigbar as well. Meaning Xigbar must have recruited those four members himself- meaning he recruited Larxene. It wouldn't make sense for Larxene's 'ride' to be a secret unless it was important to the story- so, Larxene has to have known Xigbar was Luxu, who we know now was only playing along with Xehanort's mission to get the Gazing Eye/No Name back.
GoDoFcRaP42 wow, that’s actually really interesting!
Clever... but I'm pretty sure she was "along for the ride" with Marluxia/Lauriam.
@@nathanevans1382 i can be both.
@@sarthakarora3212 I guess? But I don't get why she would just let Xigbar do whatever he wants, if Larxene was really "along for the ride" with Luxu, why do they NEVER interact with each other?
@@nathanevans1382 Luxu is their master and one of the leaders, and she is along for the ride cause everyone else is following him. It's actually amazing how difficult Xigbar is when he's not even trying. His true power has to be beyond terrifying
Just realized: Luxu looks like Venom Snake. I guess it's appropriate, seeing as he's franchise villain of a game series with outrageous story.
He looks like venom snake, but acts like revolver ocelot. I thats a better analogy considering they lost a body part to a hero (Xigbar his eye to Terra, and Ocelot his hand to Snake) and you dont quite know who he is truly loyal to until the very end. They both seemed like second rate villains but are actually way more important in the grand scheme of things...and their weapons of choice? Guns
You're pretty good.
I'm super exited to see what they are gonna do with these characters in the future considering a lot of them are in the moblie game
I feel bad for Xigbar! All the other members of Organization 13 were treated with respect and compassion in their last moments but with Xigbar they spat at his feet!

after all it was his Keyblade beforehand.
Cause Xigbar was a piece of shit from beginning to end
Also, just because they dont say Xehanort isnt worthy to wield a Keyblade doesnt mean they dont think it. Since Xigbar is as bad as Xehanort up this point, they probably feel the same about Xehanort
Is it just me, or does anyone else still actually enjoy the twist that Terra was that Dark Figure all along?
My first time playing KH3, when he broke his mouth guard and actually spoke and said, “one day I will set this right”, god I actually started bawling.
Best plot twist in the series by far and also one of the most emotional scenes. I've rewatched it so many times trying to grasp every little detail.
Speaking of talking, I may be over-observing, but when the guardian first starts to talk he sounds almost, animal-like, like a beast trying to sound human. But as it progresses he sounds fully human.
To be able to hear all these beautiful version of the Organization XIII theme during each of these moments was an honor. I need the official soundtrack to drop already!!!!!
2022 and these scenes are still beautiful. It's nice that Sora forgave each of em so easily aside from Young xehanort and Zigbar, goes to show how much he's matured since the first game.
29:10 I believe Riku meant:"I think I'm gonna miss beating the sh*t out of you."

Nice Just A Pancake reference
Ok I believe you!
There’s a difference between Ansem & Xemnas’s endings in that… Xemnas when he died, he pitied himself, felt bad for his mistakes and missed his companions from the original Organization.
Ansem had no one, he accepted what he did and left Sora and the others with wisdom instead of spending his last moments in self-pity. For Xemnas, it was “oh woe is me” and with Ansem it was “Move on from this and seek greater knowledge”. Ansem was the older big brother who understood his wrongs and accepted the end for what it was. He may have been a villain to us, but to him, he was seeking answers and his ambition (like Xehanort himself) drove him to the means he took to get those answers. In the end, like Xehanort, he leave the group with something, a token to take with them… wisdom of words to seek more understanding that they’ll do it their way and not his and ultimately and finally accepting fate.
Xemnas was without a heart and didn’t understand the hearts nature. He was just now learning how to feel sadness, so I want to emphasis that he’s not a bad guy for not feeling regret over the pain he causes Sora and his group, he is like a child learning emotions and he’s fragile after finally feeling emotion after so long without having it. I’m sure it’s overwhelming for him… so one cannot blame him for how he left. Maybe there is solace in knowing he had at least felt bad for losing his companions and that shows not only that he had a heart, but that that heart had potential to be golden and beautiful.
If only I had a Keyblade *wink wink*
I like how the others must thought:”Hey,they’re just standing there, let’s attack!”
”No,let them talk!”
”Why?”
”So the viewers can sympathize with the villains once.”
I’m honestly glad that some of the organization members were on good terms with sora before they got defeated. Like they weren’t even mad.
If Sora could remember the bullshit he went through in Castle Oblivion, he would give Marluxia the middle finger instead
I love figuring out all the secret love triangles and hidden loves some characters harbor for others that are in this organization. Like they don't have hearts, but they still do that stuff. It reminds me of something that the Countess said in AHS Hotel "My heart should only be a few karats at this point, but those little bits means everything"
Nobody is talking about how the fuck can Vanitas's hair fit in that damn Helmet
I love how the others just casually wait until Sora is done talking with the dying fellow. And not just try to kill him while he is distracted.
gonna rank these:
1: Vanitas. Something about that speech is just... there. The way HJO delivers lines as Vanitas is so good man. It gives more on the relationship between light and darkness too
2: Xion. subverted bitches, not #1. I love the character of Xion, and having her come back and be the replacement Guardian is so nice. and Roxas comes back
3: Xemnas. You can almost feel bad for him, realizing that he might even regret all the pain Sora through.
4: Ansem. goodbye evil dad, we'll miss you.
5: Terranort. Not a huge BBS fan so this doesn't hit as hard, but even I know this is fantastic
6: Dark Riku. Repliku getting redeemed at the end is a nice ending, and his goals never truly changed.
7: Saix. this is getting hard. Nice to get backstory that some people didnt know
8: Xehanort. whatever it's just the end of it, sure he wanted to save the world but he's still a douche
9: YX salty little gamer boy
10: Luxord. The dynamic between Luxord and Sora has always been strong
11: Marluxia. same as Larxene, just better
12: Larxene. Not super fun, but again, she'll probably come back to some degree
13: Probably Xigy. It wasn't meant to be super cool or climactic, since his time will come later
The amount of foreshadowing in Xigbar's speech alone is insane.
What did we learn here kids
