What does Glidex have to do with this setup? It's just a matter of choosing the correct channel (each channel controls the brightness level of the rgb button or makes it blink)
Glidex Gives me the ability to use my tablet as a Wireless Screen (essential a Remote in case I have to step away).

you have to set MIDI channels to 1
how did u get i to work i have done all setup etc but will not activate any buttons at all
Did you install the input/output mapper for Akai APC 40 mkii Mini? If not search for it on @qlcplus QLC+ website first. If you can't locate it (that's how I did) Than you can create one from scratch from input/output. Be sure you checkmark the feedback [ ] on the input/output for Akai Mkii Mini.

@@Goldfish-the-Bass-Player I've not considered doing one, but maybe once I've figured out one issue I have with it all... then I should give it a try.
not quite yet, I've had to pause from creating due to an influx of wedding booking & logistics work. I'm still working on it.
@@djnikko currently my only issue is the midi channel to dmx channel. If I could turn off sending midi to dmx, but still use the inputs correctly, that would be great!
EDIT: Oh my annoyances, just disable "Passthrough" on input/outputs..... ARGH!!!! Now I can use the faders! Time to update my QLC+ Show Files

You need to play around with the midi channel that you configured. By default this is midi channel 1 I believe and the buttons arent really bright. If I am not mistaking you need channel 6 or 7 to obtain the brightest output!
Are you asking how did I get the Akai 40 mkii mini to work with QLC+ and illuminate the pads & buttons?

Well, I was able to program the QLC+ feedback to illuminate the AKAI Mini PRO MK2 buttons, but it seems to me that you have managed to make the brightness much higher than what I achieved.
@Karaokeando Actually I'm only illuminated from my view about 50% brightness..IDK why though.
@@djnikko I saw a tutorial about novation AND QLC. This guy make a FIXTURE with novation and Add to Qlc like another light. Each button Is mapping y he can Select color brightness and blinking.
I dont know if same works ok Akai Apc mini MK2.
@Karaokeando That's generally how I figure Ish out, Press every button, write down every code and transpose to excel or word.
@@Karaokeando mapping the launchpad vs apc 40 are 2 totally different mapping procedures...and yes launchpad mapping u can Ctrl brightness
