Michael Mordecai Get test pipes, you’ll get more flow. As for the short tails I personally sold mine because I felt some low end Tq loss. Going with Megan y pipe and Isr single exit which both together is still less than new AAM resonated short tails. I own a 10’ nismo btw. Then get 3” intakes and a tune and you’ll feel a HUGE difference.

Yup, have that problem now with the paper / fiber / aluminium look a like gaskets. Lasted about 2 weeks. Oddly the same type of gasket that was fitted before lasted 3 years.

Non resonated will be a tad louder. If you keep the stock muffler, I'd go non resonated. If you do a muffler delete exhaust, I'd go resonated to keep the drone out. So just depends on your taste. I like this setup. I'm not sure about smog. Not sure what they do to test out cars in CA. But if the emissions test is just by the OBD2 port, then this will pass just fine since no sensors are connected to these secondary cats

Are you still using the Sony A5100 camera? If so, looks like you have a (Rode?) external microphone connected to the camera. Are you using a mini USB male microphone adapter audio transfer cable cord?
That awkward moment when you purchased an exhaust from AAM in February and it's backordered and in the same time span . Brian went out and got a GTR and got an exhaust from AAM. 😑🙄

We've done a little bit of that. But its just not worth it. Always ends up being a waste of time. Filming videos for our channel and other companies is the best use of our time ;)
Too bad aam dont make titanium parts. That would make it better. Personally i would of got the 4" exhaust kit compare to piecing out an 80mm exhaust. Ive been inside one with the greddy 94mm titanium exhaust and the design looks similar to the 4" aam exhaust. Its not loud like a fart can honda, its deep and only gets loud when you floor it

If you plan on keeping downpipes stock you should have gone with non-resonated midpipe. It will sound so much better and no drone.
This video will come in handy for when I never buy a GT-R and cry myself to sleep.
Pro tip : you can watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

Nice work and sounds good but always use metal Nissan OEM gaskets. Those paper Tyler gasket just eventually burn out.

So the secondary cats can be replaced with aftermarket and still pass smog
