Thank you John! You are a great musician... Lots of people don't listen to you and that's really a social problem. I was with you since I've heard Brand X for the first time. Keep on playing my friend.
John has always been great but he's not just hanging in there. It appears that he's still loving it and continuing to grow as a player and a writer. Great to see this!
Boy Howdy Hell Yes !!!! If it sounds this excellent on vid, Imagine what my good brother John ( Lighting Fingers ) Goodsall, Percy ( Low Tone ) Jones Frank Katz & Mark Wagon.. Sounded like being there front and Center.. BRAND X one of the Absolute Best, innovative Jazz/Rock/ Fusion band to ever bless us with music.. Always loved this and all their music..Seen them live in L.A. a couple of times. Epic Great Live and became great friends and even played some live music with John AKA.. " Goods ".. Man he sure made me sound Good !!! Rock On My Brother, so glad to hear you guys are Kickin' it out and together again.. Hope to catch the B.X. Groove.. Hit Susie and I up when you get Florida way.. Mi Casa to Casa always and may you all have a most excellent Thanksgiving and Holiday season !! Respect and much love from us to you.. Miss ya brother !!!
for my and our fortune there is a free way to stay in touch while being so far on the globe and so having brand x on your palm, thank you brother John, all the best always!
Big time excitement, anticipating my first time to see Brand X, next week in Orange County, CA. Their music (your music) has been of great importance since my sophomore year in high school in '76 when I brought home my copy of Unorthodox Behaviour.
I saw Brand X live some years ago(June 10,1997) in my hometown in a fairly big club with Pierre Moerlen on Drums. Had been an immense fan of the Livestock Album…the 400 seater club was attended by 10 people…..John was playing a Brian Moore Guitar and looked really frail and tired. The gig was good though!
Thanks What a nice surprise!!!!!! Love this band...and I always considered JG the shredder original........and so much more than just a shredder....very emotional stuff. has anyone here heard of Percy's "Noise 'r Us" ? @late70's....
3 finger playing. Incredible. Just when you imagined that you could get to grips with Goodsall .... This man took playing to a level hooked onto by Guthrie Govan?
Blimey no wonder John's suffered in the past with tendonitus of his right elbow I think. Hopefully OK now. Great player & Percy amazing too. Up there with Jaco & the very best
RIP John... thank you for all the memorable music.. 🎸💔🇬🇧
Rest in Power, Frank. A great drummer, and a better person. Never forget those late, late, late night hangs.
