don’t click the scam below me please, i bet it 101% contains a virus.
Jadasa Tara stop recking the comment section
Just to let you know TRADOC just stopped this new test 😂 in other words we’re already getting rid of this test. We’re going back to traditional APFT.
As a soldier myself you guys have no idea how incredible this actually is. I know soldiers who have trained every day for years and don't break 550. To get a 598 (should've been 600) on your first try is one of the most impressive things i have seen in my life. Thank you for doing this. If i wasn't convinced you're the GOAT I am now!
@@daveaglasgow yeah the army is moving towards more of a CrossFit type fitness standard and focusing less on cardio. 13:30 should be easy but it’s harder than you would think after doing all that other stuff first.
Bruh it's 498..
I was in the Air Force back in the late 70s, early 80s... Back then our physical fitness requirement was to "run" 1.5 miles in under 14:30.... I was at my max weight for my height and constantly harassed by the Squadron Commander from our Orderly Room, (if we go to war, everyone is going to be waiting on you) he was a 2nd Lt., probably only a few yrs older than me... We ran the annual event on a 1/4 mile track... This chubby kid ran it in just under 9 minutes and posted the 3rd fasted time of all enlisted folks in my unit... on my last lap, I lapped the 2nd Lt, I quickly grabbed a cigarette from a friend, and was smoking it next to the start/finish line as the 2nd Lt ran by with one lap to go and cheering him on... you can do it!! A few days later at Commander's Call, I was brought up on stage and given a 3 day pass for a top 3 finish..... He never harassed me about my weight again... lol I hope their standard has changed, cause 1.5 miles in 14:30 was way too easy, you could probably walk it in with a fast paced walk...
@@daveaglasgow ah yes, the good old "someone is bigger/faster/stronger than me they must be on drugs" argument.
I think the much much more impressive thing is sub 1:43 800m which he ran at London Olympics.
Shout out to Michael for doing this after 15 miles
I know! He is a world class steeplechaser.
15 miles at 4:40 pace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@larrylem3582 I honestly couldn’t tell if that was a joke or not. That pace is a 1:01:08 half marathon!
@@larrylem3582 per kilometer?
@@MrNoName7474 He must be exaggerating a bit. Probably ran the last couple miles at that pace. He has made the Olympic Trials in the Steeple , so he is legit but unless your a 2:04 Marathoner, you are not doing 15 miles at that pace. And even then, you would be boarderline racing.
I had a PL who was like the 4th person to get a 600 his first try, two days later he wanted to see what he could get in his plate carrier.. this beast of a man got a 598. Most impressive thing I’ve seen physically!
Sounds like Urtz
This was one of your best videos. I am really impressed with your stamina and energy.
Yeah same, especially that bruh throw.
i think now he is ready to challenge the instagram fitness model that beat him...it must haunt him...but she is really a beast
Getting a 600 on the ACFT is very hard, I’m giving you credit because of that first throw!
its honestly kinda funny cuz when they started that challenge i thought to myself "what happens if they hit one of the pieces of wood up there" but didnt expect it to actually happen
Gabby is a beast. I like that the test is the same for men and women. Other then the run at the end, id say this favors more heavy set weight lifting style builds.
Thank you!! I struggle on the run but will keep striving to improve!
It’s probably because it’s arguably easier to get a better endurance than it is to get stronger
@@joshustaran-anderegg9399 depends on the person I’d guess
@@gabbers009 dude you’re killing it, I haven’t seen a single person in my home unit touch a score in the 500s yet, you rock!
@@RockBlockbuster kfalls_armynationalguard
Guess no matter how disabled I am, I'm still gonna have to work hard to make money and build muscle, thanks for the encouragement.
Keep grinding brother💪
💪
❤️
shit country we live in
Whatever u believe u can achieve remember that
I'm in the Army and have taken the ACFT several times at this point. It is a hard test, even with months of training. This video is probably the best "XX Tries the ACFT" that I've seen so far. I really appreciate the effort you put into this video and have so much respect for your abilities. A fan as always!!
I'm in the guard and completely agree with you
Why is the army so unfit, this really doesn't seem that hard. I noticed that the cardiovascular fitness levels were extremely low for these recruits. A sub 13:30 2 miles should be pretty easy for anyone who is fit and especially people that train for this.
@@daveaglasgow Do you run??? Can you run a sub 13:30 two mile???
Dave I don’t understand when your saying it’s easy bruh u should literally post a video about you running 2 miles under 13:30 I mean it’s not the hardest thing but saying it’s easy makes me think that you havnt even tried it and being cocky that u can
@@101lifeanddeath Been training for the run. Quickest I did was 16:41 2 mile
Truly amazing video brotha! Get this man to 600k!!
Get him to 1m
Yeee
Hi can you please help me I really wanna visit America 😢
@aj lapray Yo Cheeks Ok After That Pimp Slap
I saw a lot of fitness influencers also doing the Army Fitness test, but this time it's Nick! Great video!
He should try a run on the Currahee mountain ( 3 miles up 3 miles down ) in boots ( short military boots )
When I was in the Army all we did was push-ups 2:00 min, sit-ups 2:00 min, and the two mile run. To max all you needed is 60, 85 and a 13:30, so pretty easy to max out, but I'm not sure if I would have maxed out with these new challenges!
The sprint drag carry will have your legs wobblin’, especially right before the 2 mile 😂
“That’s the evilest thing I can imagine”
I almost puked one time after I did the sprint drag carry lol
It really is just pure ridiculousness
Exactly how you need to do the leg tuck, keep the rhythm going and pumping!
Cap Tom was in his bag this episode. Dude killed every event effortlessly
You're a beast. I would pass out after doing this
Mans a legend for doing this 🤟
It's a really fun set of challenges!!
@@nicksymmonds really, i was impressed by your performance!!! Excelente!!
Nick is so well rounded, a true athlete indeed.
Nick this was an awesome video. As a veteran thank you for highlighting this for us. You totally killed this test. The Citizen Soldiers in this video are awesome. Thank you for your service.
Great Video Nick! The thresholds for max points in some of the events were just perfect enough where you could hit them and the others couldn't gain any extra points. Keep up the great work!
Mad respect to you for getting that score at the age of 37!! Absolute legend
Your energy is unmatched, dude. Keep inspiring people, you're way too good at it.
You rock Nick! Love the video! Thank you for including me. 💪🏼
ur are just an inspiration. thank u for motivating us. great job nick ,keep up the good work
Thank you for watching!!
Love how Michael just casually talked and conversed with Nick while running. Like, dang, made that look effortless.
I just can't say enough how much I love this channel. I'd love to try this challenge. Might have to set it up.
I'm the biggest and slowest person on our track team and even though I do shotput and discus when we run like 100s-1 mile u are a big inspiration to go till my legs die.
As a power lifter it took me a little while to subscribe to your channel. However, you have some really great fitness challenges, a great attitude and really encourage people to succeed in their fitness and in life! Thanks for your content!
The Man. The Myth. The Legend. Nick can do ANYTHING!💪🏻
that was fun to watch. good job guys!! and nick, you smashed it. well done!
That is really impressive, Nick, and everyone else
Tom crushed that Sprint Drag event. He is an all-round athlete!
"Can i go the Distance" Love the David Goggins reference :)
Your edition was my favorite out of all the ones i've watched
These military videos are really cool. I would consider doing a Navy PST test for special warfare navy. Austen Alexander does them and that would be a cool collaboration. It’s a little different starting with 500 yard swim, push-ups pullups, sit-ups, and 1.5 mile run.
The older gentlemen and the woman were the shockers. Really really impressed by them
the woman finished dead last
@@drakemordred2982 It's true, head to head men of the same athletic ability will always handily beat a woman of the same ability. However, I'd wager that Gabi is stronger and more fit than the vast majority of men out there.
@@Nightweaver1 Its the Military and War. Shes going to be fighting against men.
Love seeing this channel go up!!!!!!!
Thank you for showing the test and your product. Take care and stay safe.
Best of luck with your endeavors.
Always belive in yourself never give up❤️❤️
Finally some different content than the challenges! I like the challenge videos but they can get stale quickly if that’s all you do. Keep up the creativity and good quality vids nick!
Hell yeah, bro! Made the ACFT look easy.
Subscribed 🙏🏽
Just always waiting for your content ❤️❤️
A round of applause for the soldiers❤️🙏💯
Nick you lit it up 💯🔥
SGT Roberts here, never knew this video was up!! Nice to see the ORARNG being represented!! SFC Z!!!!!
Great video Nick! Keep up the work
This was an interesting and fun video to watch, Nick!
Human beings are the ones who show the way with good foresight
that was a cool video and format, thanks yallzz;
What an awesome video filled with positive vibes
Great Test man!
Loved this one!
I've only taken the acft once since I'm reserves and it's truly a test of endurance and mental focus
Absolutely enjoyed this video, crushed the ACFT Nick!
Just found your channel and I love it keep up the good work 👏
Nice work!
The sprint, drag, and carry is a significant emotional event. Way harder than it looks!
These videos are awesome! Keep it up Nick
Thank you!!
Great content as always!!!
45 year old civilian working for the army. Took the ACFT with some medics. Scored a 593 in the hardest age category. Only event that’s tough is the sprint drag carry. Smokes you!!!
You are the best athlete I have ever seen in my life
This is so great. Thumbs up to them all.
What an awesome event, here's hoping that it becomes an annual event
HEY NICK!! great video!! I was wondering if you could do a video series with all the military branches!! I LOVE THE NAVY!! And would love to see those videos!
Just love this. Greetings from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹.
I love how competitive nick is. 💪💪💪
that lady on the army is MAD STRONG
Thank you! ARMY National Guard Strong 💪🏼
Very entertaining video as always!
i just tried the pushup challenge and 60 pushups in 2 minutes doesnt seem hard but adding the pause on the ground makes it incredibly difficult, i gave it my all and did it with 3 seconds to spare, one of trhe most difficult things ive done in a while
We just did this in our Track Team with the National Guard. It was fun
Love your videos man!
Love the narration man. Oh and btw that gymshark hoodie is cool
This was awesome. More challenges. Different ones would be fun.
Captain Tom is just a beast!
This was very interesting to watch. Nice job
One of the best video 👌👌👌
Loved it
Captian Tom is a beast
This video is really fantabulous 🔥✨, please continue this series and also I am your big fan ....
Im in the army done many of these never been more impressed with one I've maxed it and 1 other person max but still isn't as impressive for someone who doesn't train for theses events YOU MAKE IT LOOK EASY
You was flying through their good job mate
Very entertaining to watch! Make more vids like this and keep up the good work, Nick!
i ran 2 miles in 12 min when i was a firefighter, that was the requirement for max score . but for 200lbs dude i had to struggle but still got it
Your videos are only one I click like before viewing because I am positive it will be that good!
You all have my admiration. As a former Soldier it's been almost two decades since I was last in. I know that right now I could not be able to pass the new test. When I was in the military I was not the biggest guy but I did earn the PT patch and score pretty high on my PT test but I don't think I would be able to score anywhere near as high as you all did even when I was in my Prime.
I play highschool football and this morning we did this test it WAS NOT easy😅
That’s a sick edit for the time lapse during the two mile
A big salute to the military
I’m in the Army and I’ve done this ACFT 6 times now with my highest score being 517. The only things I haven’t maxed are lug tucks, 2Mi & push ups
Captain Tom is amazing!
That was cool. Nicely done.
I could demolish the 2 mile. My PR is 10:55, and I haven’t ran anything under a 5k for a year, and I’ve been training hard. Still extremely impressive though! Go at it!
The new test looks way more fun
Nick do bench press #2! Everyone wants to see it! With heavier weight! It’s your most popular vid of these types
Let’s go CORPORAL GABBY!! ✨✨
Hi Nick. When will the new win $ challenges come? One of the best series
indeed!
We actually have another $5 challenge video dropping next weekend. You are really going to like this one!!
This is right in the house for my Artillery guys!
Lesgoo BISON we got this, let's show them how it's done 👍👍
favorite video so far
That sprint, drag, carry is not to be taking lightly! First time I did it I questioned re-enlisting
This is really the armies combat fitness test now? That’s pretty cool. When I was, and I went in 2003, it was sit ups, push-ups, and a 2 mile run.
As someone with a medium score on call of duty black ops. This is so impressive!
inspirational!
hey nick, your the best. once i see a notification for your videos, i click without hesitation!
Thank you for turning notifications on!!
This is beyond impressive
I've done this for 3 months it gets easier by the week. 3rd week I was killing it.
