I appreciate the honesty.. Sounds like they wanted more of a marketing vs a honest review. My trust meter starts to bounce. Marketing is fine but don't ask for a review if you want a paid review
Honesty That’s sad to hear about vero. But I’m tired of seeing nothing but knifetubers who shill for companies and don’t give any honest feedback about the knives they review because they have paid links and like u want get sent free knives anymore if they say anything negative. So sad, I watch watch reviews and I like how most of them tell u up front they got the watch for free and there’s a paid promotion notification so at least u know what ur getting into.
@@Shifftymking oh I try to never be a shill fir any companies and the few things I have been given for feee I state that upfront and have said negative things about a few items to the point the company asked me to take the video down…ha nope I don’t take videos down because a maker or company doesn’t like it. They should WANT to know the negatives so they can improve 🤷🏼♂️

BUT….i do not do RUclips full time, I have a career I like and thats what pays the bills, YT is mostly fun and I get yo share knives so if I do t make any money I don’t really care.

I keep thinking about making a few videos but my better half already gets tired of hearing about my hobbies watches and knives. I got our 16 year old daughter into the knives part of it about a year ago and my wife gets upset that she’s not part of the club cuz we talk knives and flick them together and send each other videos and pics of ones we like lol.
