The starting pitching is tolerable because the offense will keep them competitive. The bullpen is key. Look how many games are lost by the bullpen. The bullpen is the weakest link for the Angels.

It's like we are watching the peak of human performance. That big and strong, yet that fast, combined with top notch conditioning and fundamentals. And the mental energy and focus, while playing with infectious joy. How is this man real?
I'm not an angels fan, but... come on Angels! Make it to the playoffs. Shohei and Trout need this
Seriously, this is such a waste of star power - esp Trout (how many years of wasted superstardom had MLB had w/o Trout in the playoffs)?
He is a legend.
After Ichiros incredible legacy and history, new chapter has began with Shohei ! 🚀🚀🚀🚀
Yeah, you think after Ichiro, what is Japan going to do for an encore and here comes Ohtani.
Thanks to him, I was taught real baseball.
Shohei will be the best player ever.
shohei is by far the most exciting player in the mlb
Man, what a walk-off. Walsh + Ohtani ❤️
Albert pujols > Walsh and ohtani
@@dannywoodson5049 Lol, you’re making Pujols look bad with your unnecessary comments.
Walsh is the savior !
Engels descend 😇
@@sul4h cmon now don't feed the troll
@@dannywoodson5049 No.
Danny Woodson > Pujols < Walsh+Ohtani (very basic math!)
😂🤡🤣🤦🏻♂️😱🙈
Angels is one of the most exciting teams right now on offence(even without Trout). They just need a better bullpen. I want to see Ohtani pitch and hit in the world series!!
Starting pitching as well
They need pitching, period, from starting to bullpen.
The starting pitching is tolerable because the offense will keep them competitive. The bullpen is key. Look how many games are lost by the bullpen. The bullpen is the weakest link for the Angels.
@@felixmarvin1199 I cringe when I see the starting pitching give up 2-6 runs, like what Canning did during Friday's game.
Shohei should be MVP just for reviving baseball. All his stats and entertainment is the icing on the cake!
Agreed. If this isn't MVP level play and sportsmanship, I don't know what is. He deserves the MVP.
@@BryanChance and more!!!!
One of the best exciting plays of the year
This is Little League World Series kinda excitement. I love their celebration at the end.
That guy loves to play baseball, you can see it from his face.
Ohtani really is amazing, he is bringing so many eyes to baseball again plus all the other insane talent, what a great time for baseball! It's so exciting to be able to witness something that hasn't been done in a century!
Oh also ignore ASTROJACK and Danny Woodson when they inevitably says "Pujols is better" he is commenting that on every Shohei video to get a response and ignoring him will deprive him of that attention. There's always someone trying to ruin other people's fun and take away from a guy doing something only witnessed once in a hundred years.
This dude is a straight legend. Already. Even with all of the high praise, I still don't think most people quite understand just how good this guy is at baseball. If he stays healthy with a relatively long career and similar production to what he is doing now, he will be listed in the Top 5 players of all time, maybe even #1 some day depending on what kind of stats he ends up with.
I watched this game and it was exciting. Ohtani's power and speed combination is really fun to watch.
Even Manga dare not have a crazy plot like this..
he used to read the Manga called Major with Angels pitcher does hit HR 2 ways
@@daisukematsumoto7072 shigeno goro is nothing against this guy
