This was amazing. Kinda blue and lifted up by the band but especially Sara, Kenton, and Tamborine Guy! he just spreads joy in every section of the band he visits. Sara is just so amazing, words cannot describe her vocal skills! Kenton just showers joy. Just what I needed indeed!

I loved how Tim handed off his joy (in tambourine form) to Kenton, and he didn't seem to know what to do with it at first. Then Kenton started to really own the joy, but Tim started to leave and I felt sad...like he had passed on the torch and would be gone...but then Tim busted back in from three different directions and I literally cheered in my office. Not to mention that Sara has been my favorite PMJ singer since Hey Ya and knocked out the delivery...every one of you guys broke a leg with this one.
One more thing...you know you have done a good job when a listener who has heard a song one thousand times on tv or over the speakers in Sears reconsiders the meaning of the song after hearing you perform it. I looked at it in a totally different way. Thank you!

I think this is my favorite video of all time from PMJ. Over three months down the line, it's still the one that comes into my head out of the blue...it's spectacular.
This is my favorite pmj cover & sara is my favorite pmj performer hands down.
After going through the whole catalog multiple times, I can firmly say that this is my favorite PMJ song. Every part of it is just fantastic, but goddamn if this didn't solidify me as a huge Sara fan!

When Sara Niemietz was a little girl, she was set up on stage at a concert by a (probably surprised) B.J. Thomas, with whom she sang - very well ("Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head"?). Thomas subsequently took a sound clip from that performance with him to a radio interview on Overnight America With Jon Grayson, which I heard live. Clearly, then, I am one of Sara's earliest fans. This performance of the (late 1970s!) hit song by The Cars, "Just What I Needed," is my favorite. Go Sara!
