So a year and 8 months later I'm just now realizing this video came out on my wedding day, and she got me the precon for this commander for Christmas that year!
I've been running Primal Genesis for a little while. It's fun to play/upgrade and has some great utility options. Some of the cards in this video already come in the deck which is awesome. Dawnglade Regent is a good addition to this deck too, as it gives all permanents hexproof. Overall, great deck and great video. Thank you for posting this.
Contested Cliffs is a utility land card that is a Pet card of mine and would fit really well in this deck: Tap RG: target Beast creature you control fights target creature an opponent controlls

Hello, Thank you for this deck. I tried it a few on Forge. I just had a game where I had a lot of 20+/20+ tokens + destroying all non token creatures. I ended with my opponent having -628 HP ! just wonderfull. the only "bad" thing that happended to me was I had to discard more than 30 cards because of the Garruk's Packleader ability + Elemental Bond ^^
I actually bought this precon awhile back and have only played him 3 times. You've inspired me to think about adding stuff to him. Maybe doing it within the next 6 months. Then playing him 1 more time in the next year, then forget about him again.
I mean... the Rhino token is better than a lot of the other tokens you make. There's no specific Beast or Insect synergies in the deck, so I'd imagine most of the time you'll be populating the Rhinos unless you get a really good token into play (like with Giant Adenphage or Quartzwood Crasher).
@@Hatneas Actually I quite like Gruul...when it's played unconventionally. I have a creature control deck with Klothys at the helm that's a whole lot of fun to play. Until recently, I never really cared for Boros or Selesnya, because weenie wide strategies were never really my thing. I really like the idea of Lorehold, and I'm currently trying to build around Selvala. So while they are my least favorites, I still am finding fun deck concepts therein.
Always liked token strategies. I know its a bit expensive, but is Godsire a good include here? Asking because Godsire happens to be in my binder, and makes big tokens.

What would you suggest to be taken out for the token doubling enchantments Primal Vigor, Doubling Season, Anointed Procession & Parallel Lives. All pricey but make great includes to any token deck in W/G. They soon become targets but it takes the heat off the actual token generators. Also if going with land recursion what about Dark Depths & Solemnity combo?
I'd take out second harvest. It's a good instant speed trick but as a one-off it can be a dead card in hand after a board wipe or while developing. Those enchantments (particularly anointed procession) are strictly better!
damn i was hoping for some better suggestions other than "just use out of box" because thats basically all this is, which is good, but can attest the deck isnt that great. Ghired is my favorite commander, but it always becomes the biggest target on the table, as well as any of your token generators. no one is gonna allow that to just pop off.

This deck seems like it would be better with a selesnya commander. You only had two red spells in there, and the commander doesn't do enough to justify the extra color. Drop it to two colors to improve your fixing.

Mix his precon deck with Emmara precon deck or with New Capena precon deck with same colors. Very Easy you can create strong deck with this commander. Emmara can serve as backup commander.
Ah, I remember getting his deck and instantly turning it into Atla eggs. He's great. People always underestimate his aggro potential. Cheers.

I love Ghired Conclave Exile! His precon actually is really good and I have a Ghired deck that likes more indestructible and board wipes
Hostile desert could be a good utility land here: creates a 3/4 if you exile a land from your GY, but it isn't a token
it becomes a 3/4, it doesn't create one
I use Vigor over Emmara. Prevents damage and pumps your creatures. Just better IMO.

There also the new selesnya saga of kaldheim that makes you elf and warrios and then you copy different tokens. For 3 mana is a very good deal.
I built a very simular deck but i set it up to just use multiple types of creature tokens

No, his abilitie is attack trigger not combat damage. Giving extra combat phase is better.
