Savage humor lol subbed
No lie the amount of try hard references off of the show really make it corny. Your videos are good but riddled with lame call backs.

The gay jokes in this video are gag worthy
He was trying to keep Finn quiet. Vito understood that the real victim was Paulie. And he knew that Paulie couldn't take anymore betrayal

Finn was one of the smartest people in the show. he got out while he was still breathing
That is the angle most comments leave out. Finn was sharp and had decent instincts. Imo Vito didn't plan on hurting him, but what if Vito's plan changed? Finn wasn't going to find out. "These people are crazy and i'm out of here".
@@knowsmebyname especially seeing how Finn reacted on the jobsite when the dude got a bottle smashed on his head just for breakin balls a bit.
Finn was a west coast Italian from Los Angeles i think. The Italian guido stereotypes don’t apply out there. The Italians in the west coast are more Anglo washed. I think Finn left the scene more so because he really didn’t assimilate well with the stereotypical mafioso Italians of the east coast. I don’t think it was matter or Finn being intelligent, more of a matter of Finn not fitting in well with those people and him being more law abiding citizen. He couldn’t relate to the criminal mind that’s why he took off back to Los Angeles. He wasn’t one of them.
@@mopes2713 Italy is a big place. There are plenty of northern Italians who are completely unfamiliar with the mafia and wouldn't carry that culture over to the US.
Just when he thought he was out, they pulled him back in
Vito only wanted to give Finn the note from his doctor saying he was "confused" because of high blood pressure.
LOL!
He's over that now.
😂😂😂
It's a joke!!! He's just there!
Side effects from his medication
On a more serious note I think the way Meadow handled this situation with Finn could’ve been a big part of the reason why their relationship ended.
She sounded so stupid ‘He’s MARRIED! With children!’ That sure didn’t sound like the wiseacre know-it-all Meadow Soprano.
@@judywright4241 yeah and she laughed while Finn was genuinely fearing for his life.
When Finn said he was quitting instead of supporting him through it she turned it into being all about her: “Do you know what my dad had to do to get you that job?”
Maybe her brain wasn’t functioning correctly since the AC was broken
@@judywright4241 Gay men in straight marriages even if they have conceived children ? That is always the normal first response when turd burgling is rumored or suspected of the husband from men or women .
@@eaglewinnings8003 I think she actually said “ Do you know how many strings my Dad had to pull to get you that job ? “.
Absolutely. She was a spoiled little princess that only cared about herself. No surprise, look at her parents and her brother. But, in all fairness, everybody in this show is a horrible character! The Sopranos are like the Kennedys. Everyone associated w them was either killed or screwed over in some way. Still good TV though.
Finn didn't come, the security guard didn't come, No one is coming WTF 😂😂😂
I knew THAT was coming!
@@CineRanter --That’s what she said😆
@@CineRanter dude you came thru so hard through your narrating lol. I love it.
But Vito came twice!
he's a come from behind guy.
There aren't a lot of useless scenes in this show, which makes me think that shot of Vito in Yankees gear ready to watch the game is meant to let us know that there was actually nothing nefarious about this. I think he probably was going for making Finn his friend so it would be harder for him to rat, maybe he would have explained at the game, where he had time to get into it.
As for why he intimidated him, these guys don't have social graces. He was told no, got scared that he wouldn't be able to explain himself, and lashed out. Anyway, that makes the most sense to me just given that last shot.
Right he was meeting at a public spot and probably trying to butter Finn up the tickets was bribes
@@SavageBunnyGetMoney i bet he wouldve loved to butter Finn up. he looks like he's eaten a few buttered up humans.
@Miki Miyazaki I really don't think Vito was some horrible rapist. He was just Gay. Living a lie and knowing that his and his family's world was going to crash down if he didn't do something. He was no more disgusting than any of the rest of them!
@Miki Miyazaki I think I acknowledged he was a psychopath like the rest of them by stating he was just like all the rest of them (but no worse)! Being a rapist is a whole different thing and he showed no sign or at least the director showed us no sign that he was capable of it or it was likely. You can ridicule my opinion, but neither of us actually know for sure do we? Are you sure I'm the one projecting here...
@Miki Miyazaki Then as a mind reader and basically a Christ-like figure, It's only fair to assume you correct about everything. My apologies
Vito would have had no problem disappearing Finn. If not right away then down the line. I agree that if Vito had just put his intimidation tactics aside and appealed to Finn from a human standpoint and explained how serious it could get for him that Finn probably wouldve done his best to keep it a secret. But Vito really grew into that power hungry gangster personality once he made Captain.
Well said!!!
Yes, and for the people saying it's against the rules for Vito to kill him cause of Meadow, mobsters broke the rules all the time and Finn's still a civilian
Fact is, Vito's "concerns" with Finn made zero sense. If he was that concerned about his secret getting out, why was he dancing in full leather fetish gear with another fanuch, at a gay bar controlled by a NY mob family????
There was no "down the line" for Finn ! Vito knew damn well he would be exposed. Sooner rather than later. Finns' clock was ticking and his only way out, was to rat Vito out and get the protection of the Don.
One good work accident would take out finn
“Come from behind kind of guy” I see what you did there 😂
Tony said that in show
Yeah tony said it a couple times. classic line
Never gets old lol
Ooohh, you forget he is a captain?
Not really. Vito was the catcher, not the pitcher. He would be the guy upfront.
Finn should have thanked Vito. Vito gave Finn tickets to a baseball game even with an entire battle between jedi and droids Going on in the background. I really respect that.
😂😂
The carpet bombing of puns in this video caught me totally by surprise xD
I think Vito just thought Finn might swing both ways. I always felt like Vito's disappointment at being stood up was genuine. Still an uncomfortable dynamic for Finn tho
This is how I've always interpreted it, when I first watched it I thought it was something dark but when they show him legitimately upset outside the stadium I felt like he really just wanted to be with him and keep it quiet
Maybe he does, but its with men and women, not poking parade floats.
I love how you seamlessly wove dialog from the show into your own.
Dude, I love all your videos, but I must commend you on your truly stellar use of references from dialogue from the show in this one! Absolutely classic. Bravo sir! Bravo.
Agreed, Cine has become a master Soprano commenter
Yea me too, I love how he uses lines from the show😂 shiiiii...
That Vito had an encounter with a security guard on the job site where a bunch of mobsters congregate daily and goes to a gay bar paying protection to the mob and relatively close to home shows that he has no sense for long term planning and foresight and for what we saw in the series he wasn't big on bullying, intimidating or threatening anybody... so it is likely he was just going to go to the game with Finn, probably try to explain himself and then kill Finn afterwards and let the chips fall where they may.
@Mr. Oggie Possibly but I think Vito had a better plan . Probably just intimidation after game was over . Whacking Finn would have brought to much attention and an extra problem or problems that Vito didn’t need . As I stated above there is a credo the Mob has in dealing with some problems even some adversity “ There are certain people you don’t whack “
I was here….it was a joke!
@@dagnabbit6187The problem isn't Finn at all in that scenario. He's a nobody, just dating a daughter briefly...the real problem is Vito taking him to the game then whacking him. That's the dumbest possible scenario. You have now shown yourself in public with dude at a Baseball Game right before he gets killed. Hello Prime Suspect, how's your day?
I don’t think Vito was ballsy enough to kill Finn. I think he was going to butter him up/intimidate him. Finn was wise not to go, in any case. Meadow’s handling of the situation was disappointing if not predictable.
Thank you. I didn't want to sound like a jerk to Meadow juggling so many stressors with her dad hospitalized,, the public scrutiny, bumner more than usual I bet,, aww lol anyway after she and Finn called it quits I think Medd faced up to the fact that a romantic relationship for her was never gonna fly with anyone outside the life.
If Finn would've told Meadow that he would be killed if it got out then Meadow wouldn't have said anything to her mom about what Finn saw.
he was gonna grease his union.
@SubMan yup and she seemed to like the CA guys same as the east coast bf's she had lol my soft spot in my heart is for Finn tho he tried so hard to make Meadow understand how he cared for her without judgment for a long time, imo Finn went above and beyond and also, little scamp ignites true that Felicia really was a 👍 ✅️ good-time girl for him! 👄
Yea, so Vito’s going to murder Finn and somehow stash or move the body while there are hundreds of people also at the game? Vito would be asking to get caught and because Finn is a regular citizen and not a known criminal the police will take his disappearance seriously and so will Finn’s parents since he comes from a well-adjusted family. The police letting a mobster killing another mobster go is one thing, but not when it comes to a regular, law-abiding person.
For 10 minutes straight you offered so many of the perfect lines from the show- it’s just amazing how many quotes you were able to pull from the show and make them flow beautifully- I couldn’t do anything but roll my eyes and scoff after a while-amazing job!!!
Ikr this is some next level stuff
Your little quips are genuinely amazing. The ‘I wonder if it was chalked’ is golden😂😂😂

The amount of inside references in this video is out of control
Finn could’ve told Vito “I’m not a rat, your secret is safe. Speaking of safes, there’s a letter in one at an undisclosed location, addressed to Tony, that will be delivered by courier in case I disappear.”
I was always disappointed that we never found out what kind of therapy they were going to make Vito pay to cure himself...
I'm pretty sure they mentioned it was some religious shit
Phil arranged the cure. It involved a cue stick.
Vito was hoping that Finn thought of Vito's body as being "mad ripe".
Great narration. A Sopranos fan gets the jokes, a non fan might miss some of the subtle humor.
I'm a huge Sopranos fan and found the many show references distracting.
Its annoying and distracting
Marx är legend
Who cares what a non fan may worry about. To hell with all that political correctness...lol!
Are you gay or something? Why do you care?🤣
Vito is more of a taking it from behind guy rather than come up from behind kinda guy
catching ? - not pitching ? Lol
Finally someone pointed that out
Of course the pool cue was chalked, I loved that man like a brother in law.
You secretly wanted him
I always wondered this: why the hell would Vito choose THAT location to blow the guy(Finn voice)? Anything could've happened. He's out in the open. What if Finn was giving Paulie a lift to the sight and Paulie saw this?
Paulie hit the sack for 14 hours
Homosexuals can’t help themselves
Not above killing him, but that would be risky to kill him while he's boyfriend.
I think he was going to blackmail Finn or puthim in debt, or make it clear that if Vito says something to Tony first and it would be his word against Finn and Finn will be in big trouble with Tony, going off prematurely so to speak.
Speaking to him honestly would be an option since Finn is California Liberal college kid, but Vito is so secretive I doubt that he would actually do that.
Regardless, I don't think that Finn would be going to the bathroom at all during that game.
Finn isn’t family so even if he did get caught it’s not a death sentence. He could just make up that Finn was an informant too.
@@BlacksmithBets good point, tony would totally take Vito's side on this
It's an interesting question I think Vito's plan initially was to butter up Finn with gifts like with the tickets to the ball game I think he probably would've kept up that approach but when Finn didn't show up he switched to intimidation of course the smartest thing Vito could've done was just come clean with Finn about the consequences if anybody found out Finn wouldn't have wanted him to get killed so he wouldn't have said anything but I guess that would've been too easy 🙅
I don't think he was going to hurt Finn, I think he just wanted to make sure he wasn't going to say anything, enemies closer and all.
I think that Vito isn't used to negotiating with civilians and tried to intimidate Finn as it worked against other mobsters. However, due to the inadequacy of it as well as delicacy of the issue, scared Finn just couldn't do anything but seek help from Tony and crew
Ahahaha you managed to work so many lines into the commentary I couldn't stop laughing. You know....you're a funny guy
@@jazmyneglover5969 You know...Its just. Its the way you tell the story. I dont know. Its just funny.
funny how?
It may have been that Vito recognized what a non-homophobe Finn was and that he would have no reason to "out" him and so thought that buying him off would work, but he DID try to intimidate him into going without any sarcasm or jocularity at all.
Vito should have just handed Finn a stack of like 5-10k and told him to keep his mouth shut. The way he went about doing it came off like he was trying to lure finn into getting whacked
He wanted to be friends with Finn so Vito could take him to that bar where he likes to go to joke around
Finn was a jokester too.
He wanted to show finn what a "come from behind kind of guy" truly was 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Vito definetely had the makings of a varsity catcher
He did manage to catch up to Jackie, Jr and kill him. I'm still surprised Jackie didn't hear Vito heavy breathing behind him or see a shadow.
This fuckin' CineRanter is more creative than Spielberg
Vito was definitely at fault for his own death. All he had to do was respect that Phil did 20 years in the can.
I never thought he was going to hurt Finn. I think his plan was a combination of bribery, ass kissing, intimidation, and if he spots an opening (no pun intended) a piece of ass. I doubt he thought the chances of tapping that were good and would have settled for Finn keeping his mouth shut. Which is basically what happened hence the reason why Vito never made a second attempt. He'd already gotten what he wanted more or less.
You are right. His best bet would've been to confide in him and let him know he probably dies if it gets out. His kids will grow up without a dad etc. Killing him or threatening/raping him would cause much bigger headaches for Vito but knowing him he'd probably consider them.
You make great points.
Vito was planning to do a lot to Fin… meadows boyfriends were never safe around Vito …good thing Tony sent him to Get some help
"almost as frustrated as the security guard was for not coming" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Vito is a come from behind kinda guy."
No pun intended. 😉🤣
Finn was a deadman if he went to that ballgame
"Come from behind kinda guy"🤣🤣
You referenced as much in your video, but I don't think Vito was all that calculating at this point. Doing those acts in front of a mob-run construction site, gay bars in Yonkers where there's known wise guys. He even openly shows disappointment when word comes down that Tony is gonna be alright. He was running on impulse at this point and was just obliviously going to further groom Finn.
Vito was in panic mode.
Was it personal against Meadow?? As Vito was the guy that killed Meadows ex boyfriend Jackie Junior and now he After Finn ?
Never thought of that.
Ralph ordered the hit
Vito looked like he'd been stabbed in the heart when Finn stood him up.
Vito: “Of course I’d never hurt Finn! Why would I ever wanna do that? Only, Finn didn’t know that…because of the implication.”
That sounds really dark
If Finn the tasty treat in this scenario?
Vito just wanted to show Finn that he was a come behind kinda guy.
Finn came close to feeling the side effects of Vito’s medication
A great presentation. Concerning this particular scenario, I believe Vito’s intentions were more “straight forward,” he was electing to take the more DIRECT approach in simply attempting to “BUY Finn’s silence…”
I can't believe Finn betrayed Vito for soda and sandwiches.
Yeah, I think it's pretty clear Vito was just trying to get Finn on his side - maybe feel him out a little about what he may have seen - but ultimately he was genuinely trying to befriend Finn.
Absolutely! I've been making that argument for a long time... he was going to try and get Finn on his side. That was his best option, especially considering Finn is a liberal, open-minded guy, who didn't wanna get Vito in trouble - especially as he knew it would've got Vito killed.
@@Jimmy1982Playlists You nailed it. It never made any sense why Vito would do something so unhinged as a response, both within the context of the show/characters, and also just in reality with the common sense that killing Finn would be a kamikaze, straight up suicide for Vito. The young conventionally good looking west coast college kid who's dating a prominent mafia boss's daughter is suddenly murdered? That's national headline news worthy stuff
I can never get overr the line " i was here, its a joke" like of all the things he coulda said🤣🤣
Vito was in panic mode. He couldn't say that he was gay to the guys that saw him in the gay bar. Going to that bar was the stupidest thing he could've done. Vito had to know that the bar was likely paying protection to one of the New York crews. Maybe Vito deluded himself into thinking he could chance it because the mob wouldn't go in there to collect during party hours.
"...first giving him the tickets...then giving him the pearls...."

Man, I'm always waiting for you to say "like in the guy in the village people" when describing the scene where Vito was caught. Hope you can incoperate that into your future videos.
Simply wanting to buy Finn's silence is the simplest explanation.
The security guard not "coming" bit was out of pocket 🤣🤣🤣
Vito was gonna grease Joe Perry Jr.
Finn does kinda look like Joe Perry! Great point! I was thinking the lead singer of The Verve who sang "Bittersweet Sympathy." I see Finn in one if either bands videos. 👍

"Finn wouldn't want a ticket a minority could have." LMAO THIS IS SO FUNNY YET SO TRUE FOR HIS CHARACTER!
I'm 1 minute in and already chocked laughing twice. This dude is hilarious.
This is Vito's fault for sh*tting where he eats. With the life he was involved in, he could have been more discreet with his lifestyle.
I don't think Vito had any intention of sexually assaulting Finn. He wanted to appeal to Finn's probably liberal college side and plead with him not to tell Tony. He would make it abundantly clear that if word got out he was gay, then Vito would be in serious trouble. Also, Vito would know it came from Finn, so Finn would very easily be killed by Vito. Finn would've likely broken up with Meadow and stay as far away from that glorified crew as possible. You are correct that Finn would have told Meadow already. Maybe Vito was hoping that he could both scare the hell out of Finn and contain this info to just Finn and Meadow. Meadow would have kept that to herself if she knew it would help Finn. She only told her mom after her mom insisted she tell her what Meadow knew.
So many puns and double entendres in one video. Almost couldn't take it lol. Which is what Vito said to the security guard
I got a great idea for a Soprano video that I haven't seen yet by anyone and would love to see on your channel. I'm thinking the title would be something like "Was Tony Ever the Real/Official Boss? This would of course be more related to Junior officially being crowned the boss and even after season 1 certain people still revered Junior the real boss and viewed his ok as more important than Tony's such as Richie and Feech and then he was still requested for sit downs with New York like in that Johnny Sack and Ralph situation and during the NY war for boss. Even after Tony took over after season 1 he would cry to his capos about how they need to kick up more money so he can kick up more money to Junior for his legal fees. Did the other families in NY and certain crews in the family always see Junior as the official boss and Tony simply as underboss? Like Uncle Jun literally shot Tony in the stomach and didn't get touched for it. Somebody shooting a boss is an automatic death sentence despite Tony's wishes but a boss shooting his underboss that happens to be his nephew is whatever. Another thing to consider, for the overall title of the video, wasn't the Dimeo boss before Jackie Aprille still alive in prison?
This was one of your best videos. I think I’ve seen them all 3 times.
Why thank you
Vito’s a fuckin’ parade float!!!

This whole video was 10 minutes of Soprano quotes and puns lmao
No. Rape was not on the table. Nor bribing him .
At this point I'm sure Vito assumed Finn had already told Meadow. So the only thing left to do was kill him and take his chances. Because to live day to day wondering and worrying if and or when Finn might talk would be to stressful. As a gangster he would've just eliminated the problem.
If Finn "disappeared" all of a sudden it would've been obvious that Vito killed him, and Meadow certainly would've told her Tony. Vito would not have killed Finn. He would've made him an offer he couldn't refuse (keep Finn and Meadow quiet about it).
Vito was planning on killing Finn. He would be easy to disappear. He had no issues killing the guys who’s car he ran into x
Man to each their own, live and let live etc... but that whole "love affair/romance" between Vito and Johnny Cakes was ... unappealing to put it lightly.

Vito for sure was going to kill Finn. The way he says “your fucking going” …. He knew being married to Phil’s niece this couldn’t get out. Plus the way we see him kill that motorist he crashed into on the run.. just shows he can shoot first and think later. He knew he was a dead man if it got out .. couldn’t risk Finn not saying something

You’re on a roll in this video lol
you save someone from a snake bite by sucking the poison out 1 time and suddenly your gay
I remember the guy playing Vito when he owned two great restaurants in Bay Ridge, BKLYN. They were the BEST nouveau Italian cuisine in the area. I hope he’s in good health and happy.
Vito grabbing Finn's wrist was really 😟. Glad that he had to go.
“For one he’s gay”. For some odd reason the delivery of that line killed me.
Forget all the jokes about Vito, in all seriousness, Vito had a really dark side to him that most people didn't pick up on because they generally saw him as a joke. There's LITTLE DOUBT that AT BEST he would have killed him and set it up in some way to make it hard to know what happened to Finn one way or another. Finn showed incredible instincts to get the hell away as soon as possible when Vito tried to force him to go to the Yankee game with him.
So that's why grandpa is always hanging out around construction sites, it's the high blood pressure "confusion"
Remember how Vito would always get “tired” at parties
