The kid got suspended for 2 days and then didn't show any remorse. The other kid had to switch schools because of continued taunting by this kid. I am a believer in second chances but this kid doesn't seem to be remorseful. I am disappointed that a school like USC would sign him without requiring him to make some type of amends such as a public apology to the victim.
Hopefully he grows up because he could be a great Trojan! LR, coach Lynn, and Coach Henderson obviously think that they can straighten him out

If people think that the coaching staff didn't get assurances from him that nothing like this will ever happen again, then those people are on crack. This coaching staff isn't going to take a chance that any negativity will tarnish the program. Guaranteed they've done their due diligence! All that being said, this kid looks like a train going through the line.
No brainer, of course they spoke to the kid; but hey! everything happens for the better in my opinion. Gus and Ratumana seem to share similar game, demonic these two are in the field.
Coach Henny has got to be drooling over the possibilities with these kids.

I read an article from their side. The peanuts in his locker were serious because they said he was so allergic it could have been dangerous to have them that close. So his prank could have ended tragically because of some dumb nonsense. The mom was Smurf him locked off because her son’s life was threatened over a joke. With that info I don’t blame her. Hopefully just a dumb mistake we can all make and he grew up.

“A prank gone too far?? “ It was only 2 guys doing it, not “a group”, first of all. Secondly, he asked the kid if peanuts could kill him. The kid said yes. (And let it be known that peanut allergies ABSOLUTELY can be fatal). This kid needs to go. Give him a second chance, but not at SC. As a Trojan, I can’t support him. We can do better.
ITA; this kid’s a psycho and will most likely do something just as screwed up at whichever school is dumb enough to admit him.

Cordova is exactly what USC needs. Sounds like a fun guy and a bit dangerous with the peanut thing. The peanut dude sounds like a wuss.
