  • Macadamia nutcracker, a faster way to get cracking
Hi folks. Here's a short clip looking at the "Queensland Nut" Buster, the nest value macadamia nut cracker I've used.
This has got to be an easier way to crack them than the old finger crushing hammer method & there are no screw threads to strip like previous crackers we've owned. Works great on other nuts like walnuts as well.
Did you know that the macadamia nut is also known as the Queensland nut ?
The "QLD Nut" Busters cost AU$60 each + P&H for Aussies while Overseas folks don't have to pay our GST so they pay AU$54.55 + P&H.

I understand you have to dry the macadamias in the sun for two to three weeks before you can get them out of the shell. Can we just dry them in the oven instead of out in the sun and will that cut short the time needed to dry them out?
