Arguing the same thing. If an opponent clamps you down, and stopped you from scoring, turning over the ball, and making bad decisions.. then that team did not play well. And 80 points in any regular season or playoff game in today's NBA is a 90s throwback at this point. It's bad.

@@kevinmclain6741 It seems you obviously don't know the Knicks or what you're talking about. First of all, do some research before you talk in order to get the facts straight. Don't you know at one point, the Knicks were top 5 in the league in terms of the standings? But then all of a sudden, they lost 3 of their starters in Randle,OG,& Robinson. Plus Brunson was even in & out due to injuries as well. But before all that the Knicks were beating your so called Western Conference teams including Denver,Minnesota,& the Clippers. Matter of fact, they gave Denver one of their worst loss of the season. So now my question to you is how many teams do you know in the NBA that had injuries to 4 of their 5 starters and still won 50 games? Well the Knicks are the ONLY ones in the NBA to do so this year. Bro the Knicks are mentally tough, gritty,& physical and i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they do actually happen to play Boston and beat them to advance. Then we will see what happens to the western conference team in the finals. By the way, just in case you don't know, sports is more mental than physical and the Knicks are the most mental & physicallly tough team in the playoffs. Remember i told you so. Keep chuckling!

Tell it! There's a reason only five teams have been to 4 straight finals the past 50 years. Even if the rest of your conference is boxcar hobos, it takes a toll on everyone to play that many games together. When you win something it's very easy to slack off. People start singing your praises and you start believing it. Guys get less hungry after they break the tape at the finish line.

It’s more than just Cavs Dubs.
Go look at NBA Finals history. There are a ton of repeats. Are there are tons of stretches where teams went to the finals but maybe they didn’t win them all.
Lakers went to like 8 Finals in the 80’s. Celtics went 4 straight. Pistons played in 3 straight. Chicago and Houston are the only teams who won in the 90’s full seasons.
From 1999-2009 10/11 seasons the Western Conference was won by either the Lakers or Spurs. Only exception was ‘06 Mavericks.
Heat went to 4 straight. Spurs went to back 2 back finals 13/14.
Of all the leagues, NBA is by far the easiest to repeat in.
