Airsoft manufacturers have been trying to replicate the real steel counterparts for many years and it is incredibly difficult with pistols these days. We accepted the challenge and believe that our newest replica stands out from the crowd as the most realistic replica to date, not taking into account shell ejection.
Introducing the RWA Nighthawk Custom GRP CO2 GBB Steel Pistol and it’s a beast. Not all replicas are perfect as it does a flaw here and there but they’re rather insignificant when it comes to the bigger picture which is this thing kicks like a stallion! Just have a look at Tim’s review and see what you think.
Read Popular Airsoft's independent review here: popularairsoft....
So let me get this straight.
People with real guns want them to be lighter, and apeople with airsoft want them to be heavier.
No... people with airsoft want them to be as close to real guns as possible..
A lot of people with real guns criticise airsoft guns for being too costly compared to real firearms "I could buy a AK for that money" etc but they fail to realise airsoft guns have to fire BBs, not bullets and at the same time have to be legal for non-firearm nations so I'm not even sure why a person with real guns is moaning about airsoft when they can go play with their real guns at a firing range if they want to.
GooglyEyed Joe That is because a firing range does not provide (usually) intelligent targets that actually move, shoot back and (again, usually) adapt to your actions.
GooglyEyed Joe The only reason I can see why real steel people get annoyed is when they search for a gun they wanna check out, they keep stumbling onto airsoft videos instead, I guess over time that just makes them hate airsoft as a whole, but plenty of people do both, they are completely different things, someone with a civilian pilot license can still enjoy flying RC helicopters..
Cristian Toma You'd want someone to shoot back real bullets at you? o_O And Aaron I know what you mean but I've seen some comments on airsoft reviews going "I hate you airsofters, get the real thing" and I think to myself when I see comments like that "Why are you on an airsoft review video taking the time to comment?" it's like going onto a gay website if you're straight and going "I hate you gay people, be straight" why are they on the gay site in the first place? If they don't wanna see airsofting they should use their brains and realise the video has the word 'Replica' and 'Airsoft' in the name and also the channel is called 'RedWolf Airsoft' but unfortunately people don't use their brains on the internet alot xD
When I saw the recoil and accuracy I felt my heart leap in excitement. I rushed over to the website to check the price, then my heart shattered into a million pieces... Over one thousand dollars for this beautiful gun... I wanted it so badly, but there is no way I can ever afford a price that high, especially for an air soft gun. Love at first sight was crushed by reality...
You shoved you hand down my throat and took my words
+xXGaminglegendXx That was incredibly and disturbingly descriptive
EDDSWORLDMEGAFAN Why thank you, I love to disturb people!
xXGaminglegendXx I am a word thief. That is my job!
you can get the real one for a few hundred dollars more.
"Wow, I have to stop there.. That recoil is..." This guy is going to cream his pants if he ever shoots a real gun.
the recoil on airsoft guns and real guns are caused by different things wich makes it feel a slight bit different. on a real gun it's gas pressure and an explosion. in airsoft it's just a slide moving backwards.
Right.... so like i said he would just be amazed by a real gun
For an airsoft pistol, that's ridiculous and it really makes you think how much recoil it must have. Plus most "hard kicking" GBB pistols, though they kick, do not kick as hard as this one. SO it's kind of a surprise, almost fun really because it's like shooting a very close replica o the same thing. Plus I do believe he has shot real steel weapons before.
So funny you said that, because that's the exact moment I stopped to comment about how corny that was.
It really was, I mean i love airsoft, but it is nothing compared to the real thing.
"Those kind of mags are expensive"
If you can afford this gun, mags are just like 1$ to you
I remember people who had Bren Tens. A mag cost $147 and that was back in the 1980s
For whoever's still on this video 5 years later, I bought this gun way back and it's still going strong, one recent upgrade that makes this gun even more relevant is that this is compatible with the Volante Stratos blowback unit. It allows this gun to function with green gas, being able to clear a mag without any sluggishness, which is highly recommended for the days you just cannot be bothered with CO2 but still want decent kick (I'd say the kick with the Volante unit is about 60-70% of the CO2 version, which is pretty good given how hard that kicks).
Can travel with it?
The want is real. I just don't want to scratch it :L
Edit: $1280, nevermind I'll pass.
Hahahahahaha
You clearly didn’t edit it
You can find it for 128 dollars
Same
U didn’t even edit it🤦🏻🖕🏻😂

Prostitutes be like: "I almost don't want to touch it, but I have to because it's my job"
😂🤣😅....dark humour
Cherry Smoke this is a 11 year old kid who just discovered gta
I can't believe how insanely expensive this is.
$100 manufacturing cost, and that's a generous estimate lol
$1000 sale price
I just bought it for 100 bucks but 50 dollar shipping I guess not bad since it’s 22% off right now on red wolf website
This gun has such an amazing sound to it!
“Are they going to steal my pistol?” Words I have never thought when I’m holding my 1911’s.
Never cross my mind whether I was gold one of my weapons or not no shit like that would ever cross my mind, and if it did IMMEDIATELY afterwards the next thought would be some old school Dirty Harry or taxi drivers type shit ... “ Go ahead punk , do feel lucky/ You talking to me , are you talking to me ,because I don’t see anyone else here so you gotta be talking to me .....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I guess thoughts like that cross your mind when you are in sissy counties where they won’t allow you to own real fire arms you know ?? Oh well sucks to be him.....
"Standing Erect And Proud" All The Americans Start Laughing
Americans? Tf
+XaaronXgamerX Hahahahahahaha I totally agree!!!!
especially them Russians too LOL
I can relate.
Americans? I think everyone gets the double entendre mate, lol.
a friendly warning to help, I love your channel, so I don't want people mad at your channel for using certain words incorrectly, trying to help out, I really support your channel
It's very cool, but as someone who also buys real guns as well as airsoft, for the price it's not worth it.;
Most countries outside of the US do not allow citizens to buy real guns.
RedWolf Airsoft I know, I'm just saying I personally can't possibly justify the price for this product.
patio87
The real Nighthawk Custom costs upwards of 3000USD so....
patio87 then don't buy it!
lagstyre Yeah I wouldn't buy a Nighthawk either. For that price you could build 3 1911's just as good.
I always see a lot of people, commenting on the price of Airsoft weapons versus their reel steel counterparts. In some country's (like mine) it is forbidden to possess a real weapon. So yes, 1.000$ is a very steep price, but you do get a beautiful pistol for that. And you can actually use it in a skirm without killing anybody, since it is not real. On the other hand...I do think there are other, better priced full metal pistols that offer great value and gameplay. But this would be a nice collecters item.
It's not forbidden, you just need a license.
Yeah, sucks to be not USA.
1.2 grand?!?!
ill stick with real weapons
like a glock 19 for $500
or an AR-15 for 1k
Quinn Thai or 5 Mosin Nagants for 1000
So sad that its ilegall in a lot of countries and that you cant shoot people with it.
@@keyr324 You sure you cant shoot people with real gun...? ;)))
If u like to build, get a Polymer80 kit or a 80% AR15 lower and save half. I built a pretty nice AR with a decent upper for a total of $550. The best part is it’s a ghost, no need to register it unless you sell it.
DANGER CLOSE is it for sell 😂🤔
5:02-5:10 This cheezy line ruined the whole video
"a lion about to shoot at its prey" lmao
Never in my life have I been more jealous than I am watching this video
4:35 that sounds so cool
I like the part when people try to compare this to a real steel. Just c'mon thats a completely different world. Airsoft is ment to play with your friends, and also great for trainig purposes. I had the chance to try one of these and I can tell in the airsoft world this is an outstanding piece, even if I compare it to a highly upgraded TM pistol. The recoil is like my friend's m87 beretta so it is pretty realistic compared to other airsoft gbb's I had. Absolutely worth its price if someone can afford it.
This is like the "Truffle topped burger" of the Airsoft world
If this had Shell Ejecting it would be the most realistic airsoft 1911
Airsoft guns should be going that direction...not only is more realistic looking but is also more realistic in performance. Most airsoft games have way more shots than a similar situation would have in real life when you actually care about how much ammo you have left.
@@CanI... While I would really really want more shell ejecting airsoft guns, I don't see how they could make cheap shells that both hold the gas and the BB's. On a heavy steel slide airsoft like this Nighthawk and a single stack mag, I don't see how it could have a large enough gas tank and still have room for shells if those don't hold the gas.
Maybe an internal tank within the gun like the older Marushin pistols?
I still think gas within the shell is most realistic but a pack of 5 shells would be like $30
Wow this is so top notch, really liking these premium videos :)
0:05 "Welcome to another episode of Rebull TV"
At this point i'd just buy a real 1911.
yea? you want to buy a real nighthawk? because those set you back about 3,000 dollars.
mikomonday lol :-)
In this instance, your comment is actually justified. $1280 is way out of the price range of most airsofters. This pistol seems like its actually meant for a SUPER niche market lol.
Gʀᴀʏ Fᴏx Many people cannot buy real guns...outside of the USA.
RedWolf Airsoft Yea, I can see what you mean.
Cool gun. And by the way that little pin that you say sticks out too much is meant to be like that to hold the slide stop and thumb safety in place. Its on real 1911s also.
wow its only 3666zł. Only 3666zł well when i find oil in the backyard ill buy it ;)
how much is that?
is that chezk currency?
MrPanos2000 $1280
1€-4.3zl i think
kryptek titan I looked it upon the website. It costs $1280
Well, I can't help but congratulate you on your magnificent performance, your love for weapons is more than obvious, (I love them too, my father's inheritance) But your way of describing the moment of launching one... is simply epic. I think we all feel that way. A hug and continue doing this of transmitting the life that these replicas deserve.
USD$1280.00 WTF
Holy Crap That's Incredible... The Sound And Look is extremely realistic...
The real one also has an insane recoil spring... It's really hard to pull back the slide when it's brand new for the real one. Like a brand new GLOCK is so much easier to pull back. Obviously it makes sense because the 1911 is a .45 but still... It was embarrassing struggling to pull this back for the first time. I wasn't used to it.
Unfortunately, the cheaper version doesn't have that hard of a recoil spring. I recently did an unboxing and testing of the nighthawk 1911 and got disappointed with how easy was to rack the slide. It felt like a Glock. :(
Sweet looking 1911. One question is it compatible with KJW 1911 (kp-07) co2 mags?
KJW mags does fit into a TM, so i guess a KJW mag will fit with this gun..
Perfect, thanks.
NO. KJW 1911 magazines are slightly thicker and only kind of fit inside plastic TM 1911s. When you fire the gun the recoil will slightly drop the mag.
Fancy seeing you here brain exploder. are you planning on buying this?
Not likely I like to use my guns and this one might be too high priced to use in the field.
the mag not dropping free really reminds me of the bren ten pistol for spec ops people who didn't like their mags dropping to the ground in covert operations, or something like that. probably designed to stick out those 2-3 inches and pulled out by hand
Those Bren Ten mags, when they were still a thing, were $147 back in the 1980s.
Here is an AWSOME airsoft pistol designed purely for people who cannot buy a real gun. Because at that price, most people who can buy a real gun, will.
First vid I've ever seen from this guy. What a flashy setup, but I kinda like it ;P
That thing is 1200$. Holy moly.
daaaamn
Edwin Michael Castillo Quiboloy II
The real version is over 2000$.
Hat Dag Cat yeh but there still are other firearms less than 1200 tho
Vince Notusingmylastnamesorry
Real firearms are also much more dangerous.
Hat Dag Cat i know, of course
The best looking bb gun I've seen so far
Depending on the model, you can basically own anywhere from 3-1 of the real thing for the price of this airsoft.
The big compartment in the magazine for the Co2 cartridge makes it look as it the magazine could actually have held bullets (only when it doesnt have a cartridge of course)
I want that box so bad
+Jason wong i want that gun so bad
I miss you Tim
what the fuck, the sound is just too awesome.
velocity is speed during maneuver, and speed is how fast an object is going, know the difference because it makes some people (like moders and scientists) mad
I think it's so expensive to be an airsoft gun [1249.99$]
The magazine feature is very common in older tactical pistols like th Bren Ten. The thinking varies between stopping the mag from making noise and giving you away to reserving mags for reloading to reduce the number an operator needs to carry and some other reasons.#
Really? An air soft gun that costs about the same as the ACTUAL gun. That's a ripoff. But a real gun or a cheaper one.
SonicViperGaming WHY WOULD I BUY THE REAL GUN Jesus christ people keep saying that xF
Id buy this if i didnt live in the us
honestly costs more than most 1911s
You’re high the real costs 3k
i went from airsoft to real stuff, havent looked back (tho it is two different things). Hunting and competitions within the weapon community is so much larger than airsoft in Norway.
Do you hunt for game?
+Gilberto Verdin no he hunts traffic signs.. what else is he supposed to hunt lol?
Why does this guy sound like he has an extremely fake accent???
He doesn’t.
He's from Hong Kong, and if you know anything about Hong Kong, then you should know exactly why.
@@julian23561 then explain it lol
@@MasonMorris1204 hong Kong was a colony of the British empire up until the 90s when the Britons finally left and gave them their own independence, obviously some of those British occupiers had families there and Tim is just one of those here with a mixed race family, hence the accent.
@@julian23561 bruh
Most people are saying that at $1200, just buy a real one. While I agree, not everyone can get their hands on a real 1911a2. Like in Japan, airsoft is popular because its ridiculously difficult to get a firearm.
damn that's expensive, i would rather buy the real thing.
Gun prices aren't as cheap as you think ;-;
LoLRates Gun prices vary alot, handguns can range from 200-2000+ dollars.
LoLRates He can get a Glock 17 for 500 bucks, and a decent 1911 for 800 - 1000. All cheaper then this airsoft gun.
***** Have you ever had a real gun? You do not need gun powder unless you have a flint lock rifle. Firearms have not required gunpowder since way before the 1900s, Haha, and bullets and mags are extremely affordable. Putting wd40 on a firearm is also a horrible idea.
***** You also dont need spare parts unless you treat your gun with no care.
Now you just have to add a 'Charcoal Silvertone - American Legend Laminate Grip' for the maximum grip comfort and ofcourse the incredibly professional look!
Dat pricetag though..... Spoiler, it's $1280, or about $1000 more than I though it was going to be.
+Khalid “Zaki” Ansari i wouldnt even buy it for 280
A real M1911 weighs about the same so that's a good sign. 1.2 kilos is roughly 2.6lbs, a real 1911 weighs about 2.5lbs. You should do a comparison video with a real M1911 if you can get your hands on one in your country. I don't know about airsoft guns very much, I just know about real guns so I'm doing research on what airsoft guns I should buy for training purposes and so I can have fun just screwing around with my friends. Lol
Wtf is with that price. I could buy a real 1911 for less
The retaining pin also sticks out on real 1911's. It's just the slide-release is beveled to allow it to swing up into position.
Ugghh I hate the skeleton hammers so much on 1911 replicas :/ they just look so bad
I agree but it's just a modern look. I prefer to have all the metal for the price I'm paying
+Cole Taylor I prefer World War 2 1911's
Real ones are the same.
This gun is exremely nice. I think the best part of every gun is putting in and taking the out mag and then priming it. .
its very beautiful airsoft gun, but the price is worth for a real pistol, make 1280usd to 128usd Lmao
Well if they did they wouldn’t be able to produce them because it actually costs like 500 dollars in material to manufacture.
WE NEED YOU BACK TIM
redwolf airsoft is for rich kids. their guns are always expensive
When you fire..... That sound is sooo nice.
Sick!
Time to get myself a sidearm.
*Checks price.*
OOOOH FUCK.
This guy is entertaining as, deadset has skill at keeping your attention. I feel like his built for more than just gun reviews
lol you could get a fairly nice REAL 1911 for 1200$
This is nighthawk custom 1911, not normal 1911, they cost over 2000$
Jason wong im aware. did you even bother reading my comment
+Nathen Colberg BRUH.
The crazy Weaponcrafter in my experience recoil is only bad when you're unprepared for it lol
The crazy Weaponcrafter yea, it was probably just the weight of the replica, the slide does create some recoil but as you said most of it comes from the force of the bullet leaving the gun and the gasses released thereafter when shooting a real firearm, making it even more difficult to account for. Partly the reason why a lot of guys still prefer wheel guns to semi autos, in addition to their reliability and if I may enter NSA territory briefly, for the simple fact that the spent cartridges aren't ejected and thus don't have to be accounted for after a shot is fired
That pin sticking out is the same on the real one I have a full sized night hawk custom 1911 in 9mm and I have the same problem
Replica is more expensive than the real gun
no it isnt
XeKeng a real 1911 cost used about 800 euros in germany
+Tierex Or $860-$870 in USD. I looked on AirsoftGI, and when it was still in stock it went for $1280 (1180 in Euros).
+King Nothing Sorry. Real steel $860-$870, and RWA Nighthawk $1280.
+Prch In other words, the only way this airsoft pistol isn't as expensive as a real M1911 is if you're comparing it to the specific custom pistol it's based on.
I love my Tanfoglio witness protection 1911 B.B. gun. It’s was only $90.00 when I bought it. Accurate at 24 yards 8X12 paper target.
self promotion is cringy
I was not ready for that first shot.
Yea like we are going to buy a $1280.00 (plus tax) that not even real!!
DAMN! that looks sooo sweet! Somebody else who wants this as a Christmas gift?
I think the deep breathing is a little.... gay. It's not a fucking Magnum bro.
Wut?
malthus101 just advertising for younger people.
That pin youre talking about is just like the real 1911 when putting it back together
Have u shot a real gun? cause the recoil is nothing
true and not true for certain weapons such as co2 and green gas, just saying
Cough .22 cough.
Also can you shoot real people with a .45 for fun? Unless you live in the US no.
The fact that it has recoil in the first place is something. Where were these toys when I was a kid?
Someone should make an airsoft gun as loud as this gun .But they should also give it the ability to eject shells so it can be the ultimate airsoft replica.
recoil clearly you have not shot a REAL shotgun. child
+Mind Paralysis hello same picture I see.
keep in mind that not everyone in the world has legal access to real guns before you say things like this.
+Jack Zhan there the lucky ones.
desertfox xx98 I am 13 and have been shooting 12g double barreled shotguns since my last birthday. It is family tradition. And it is a bit weird that I, probably half his age knows more about recoil than him.
Elderrolls96 I'm 18 and I've been shooting shotguns since I was 15. Double barrelled, semi auto and pump action and saga 12. Nice to meet you 😃
At 7:10 that pin is exactly like that on the real deal. If I remember it is supposed to keep the switch from being neutral.

this man has the most sophisticated accent i have ever heard
REDWOLF please do a review on the blackwater 1911 co2 gbb pistol
1:21 i can smell it... oh wait thats my neighbors smoking pot
they need to make a 4.5mm version of this.
The magazine catch is fine. It should be like that. At least that's how's real one is. I own the Springfield TRP and I need a flat head screwdriver to push the pin in.
This is amazing. A guy at the field has this (for some reason.)
But me, personally. I'd rather have a cheaper airsoft pistol and a nice Kimber 1911 in .45 ACP or 10mm. Doesn't cost much more.
I think this gun would be both worth the money and fun to use and I would have a great time showing it off and especially using it in the field
i love tim,just like that.
Wow..almost like a real 1911 break down minus the pivoting front parts to get guide rod out. Pretty cool...should be pellets and should be 22 calibur at least thou
REALLY NICE GUN I REALLY LOVE ALL THE FEATURES
6:03 you can do that with other airsoft pistols that don't have steel slides, I can do that with my VFC FNX-45 and that has an aluminum slide.
My blackwater 1911 is almost as heavy but i can clearly hear this sounds so much better also shoots at around 460 fps
I really want a full steel Glock 17 or 19 I will buy it immediately
Does anyone know which pistol Tim pulls out when he is comparing it to the steel version? I mean the one @2.18, the first he pulls the slide on?
Yes Looking for one
If this had shell ejecting aswell I would remortgage my house and buy it
What is the poundage of the trigger pull? Also, how much $$$??
Reloading the gun like this at 6:05 takes the realism out you were talking about.....
How would you do it,47?
There are videos of people doing that actually. Not sure if with a 1911 but with other models is definitely realisticc.
Shoot 1" in 45 acp printing bigger holes too
I have the real version of the NightHawk Costim and they are amazing I absolutely love it
People reading this, I need help
I went to an Airsoft game last weekend. It was extremely fun and all but, after the game, I had noticed that my hammer had broke. So can someone tell me if this is common for these shaped hammers, or is it just mine?
Anonymous Son sent it back
wish we could get that in Canada, c02 pistols are key for colder outdoor games.
Yeah, unless we get those shipped to a canadian retailer, we cant get these ;(
I have seen SOME RWA stuff in T.O but its few and far between.
Tyler Babcock Ask your local shop to stock RWA.
I don't understand how a video about an all steel GBB airsoft pistol has people commenting about violent crime and prejudice remarks. What has this world come too.
