      +Tactical Doge I think you're missing the point... This gun isn't for your average airsofter, for which they have hundreds of sub $300 guns for you to buy, it's not even for advanced airsoft players who would spend it on a gun and upgrades. This gun is for a very niche category, people who want to use it for re-enactment simulations or if a particular site fundraises with all it's members to get it mounted to a vehicle or building for all it's members to use. An average airsofter doesn't buy one of these because of A) Physical limitations, B) Financial limitations and C) It's pointless. The target audience is not your weekend warrior but rather the actual sites themselves or hardcore collectors/ww2 era re-enactors

      Sorry if I came off as arrogant or something, that wasn't the idea. I just get tired of the tons of people who come on videos like these just to say 'ITS SO EXPENSIVE' or 'ID NEVER USE IT IN A REAL BATTLE'. I'm a casual player myself, I just check these out to have a look at the new tech and stuff and those comments just get on my nerve. I'm sure you're not one of those people though. Also the 'why dont you just buy a real gun' comments... I just ignore those now

      +Mackbros24 It's not made for you, it's made for hardcore collectors, re-enactors and Site owners/Clubs. They have hundreds of guns which are below $300 if that's what you're looking for. Stuff like this takes time and worksmanship, not to mention they won't be selling that many because most people have no use for them, so it's more of a special product than another airsoft gun.

    • @redwolfairsoft
      @redwolfairsoft  8 лет назад +15

      +noah martinez only when mounted on vehicles. Most M1919's didn't have the ammo box connected to the gun. Soldiers has to keep changing ammo boxes and most were fired from the ground so most had the ammo boxes on the side on the ground as well.

    • @cadennorris960
      @cadennorris960 9 месяцев назад

      That’s simply not true, the M2 .50 is essentially a larger m1919 chambered in .50 rather than .30-06 but that’s it. No “versions” there is only one and it’s not an M1919 it’s a browning M2.

    BTW the blue connector at 4:50 is called an EC3 connector. Made, I believe, originally by E-Flite. They also come in two other varients. The EC2 for much smaller batteries and the EC5 for bigger batteries like a 6s 22.2v lipo or something requiring much thicker gauge wire. Probably not used in airsoft too often but they are actually quite popular in RC Helicopters.

  • @stickfigure210

    They got the ammo box wrong. The real steel version of the 1919 fires 30 cal not 7.62 as marked on the box

    • @Olson323
      @Olson323 8 лет назад +1

      +stickfigure210 .30 cal is basically same thing as 7,62 , for example .30-06 is 7,62x63, but yeah, they screwed markings totally, box would need a new paintjob in order to enter serious reenactment

    Never seen anyone open an ammo tin like that. The locking plate you are holding at 3:28 flips all the way back and rests flat on top of the lid allowing you to grip it properly, that along with the small handle below is used to pull it apart in opposite directions, not that there is a standard way i guess, just far easier and probably what the designer intended.

    I got this epicness for a few years now, even converted into an HPA model with bottles hidden in a larger ammo crate^^
    However, after shooting countless bb's the box magazine is no longer working (plastig gears, all gone etc etc) tho the problem here
    is that there isnt a single place where new magazines get sold, Who can help or knows a place that might sell them..i'd rather not buy a
    2nd browning just for the magazine.
    hope to be in luck here that someone reads this ;p
    thx in advance

    ...How wide is that body? I mean, single AEG is all well and good, but what if you, say, ran 2 or 3 offset nozzle HPA engines? 2/3 Engines,2/3 Barrels, 3D printed Gearbox housing, get a delay going so you're shooting 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3, up the ROF, and the spread? Sorting the feed might be tricky, but if TM managed it for the AA12, something should be possible?

    they need to make an airsoft machine gun that uses actual ammo chains with actual shells, like the kar98k from dboys. that would be awsome.

    • @yungboi8564
      @yungboi8564 8 лет назад

      +Lewis Rush as cool as it would be, it would be way too impractical. People already complain about the impractibility of the SOCOM gear shell ejecting snipers (These things spit out 10 shells MAX with one mag) not to mention shell ejecting GBBRs which are purely for show and nobody uses due to how annoying it is to load and collect the shells. If they made a machine gun which uses actual ammo shells and chains, first you'd need at least 100 shells for it to be a useful machinegun and even then you'd use all of them ridiculously quickly, then imagine the collection process, not to mention the loading process of manually putting a bb into every shell, and if it's a case of gas being stored in the shell, gas too. If they made a catcher attached to the MG to collect the ejected shells as well as an automatic loading system in which you place shells and bbs and it loads it for you, it COULD potentially be produced, but the cost of such a system and the maintenance required just makes it really not worth it.

      An A&K M249 MK46 is light for an M249, has a lot of rail space, packs a 400+ FPS muzzle velocity, and a pretty high ROF straight out of the box, and comes with a foregrip and a 2400 round mag. Realistically, it's both an attacking and defending weapon.

    Its basically got the same stats as a standard $200 m4, but large, heavy, bulky, expensive, over complicated, and not very portable. Buy an m4 or ASG aug a3 xs commando

    Wait M1919 is .30-06 why it uses .308 box and dummy rounds ?

    • @quentintin1

      +Muhammad Najmi the Navy converted a lot of guns to .308 during the vietnam (Mk 21 Mod 0) , between the 60's and 90's the israeli used them in .308 both as an infantry and a mounted weapon, and event today it's possible to see some still in use. but then why retaining the cloth belt instead of using M13 style links?

    lol, a 5000 round ammo box? Awesome! At least it is easy to load because you can just dump in a brand new 5000 round container of airsoft BBs in it.

    To be honest, I'd be okay with just the gun and the dummy bullets, so I can run around like the terminator or something...
