I wonder if I could 3D print my own shells for this gun or adjust real 5.56 casings to work I mean 5.56 is almost 6mms a little widening of the throat and add an inner tube to direct the gas directly to the BB.
BrainExploder This design makes it even easier to install an external air supply than a typical gbbr. A shell-ejecting daytona... now that would be something new.
Josh Rampy no but i can get a full metal or olmost full metal co2 airsoft ar style gun for 400 that shoots better faster and has better range than that
I'd much rather have an AR-10 than an airsoft gun. I could shoot it at my house which might not be available for some people. Hunting and target practice are available to me and airsoft is not.
well the people that buy this have airsoft available, and i respect you for that i like my ar too but some people would rather buy this than a real firearm
As I see several comments from U.S. persons who live in States where they can own a AR type weapon and they are not banned to purchase legally a firearm, I will ask them politely to stop saying that for the price of this replica they can purchase a real AR-15 or a real AR-10 and even have money for other things or at least indicate that their statements are only valid for some U.S. persons. Red Wolf Airsoft is a Hong Kong based company who sells to a lot of parts in world, not only to U.S. customers, where the people if they have access to these real firearms, the access to those are often more expensive and restrictive to own and use, so the price of these replica is similar or even cheaper and/or can be used in a less restrictive way than their real firearms counterparts, or even they cannot have access to theses real firearms and they only have access to these replicas to have something than resembles as close as possible, specially in the shell ejecting features, to the real firearms counterparts.
To anyone whining after 6 years, it's not a skirmish gun and is aimed towards countries where you can't own a real firearm and it's mainly used for just shooting at the range
I love the fact that the gun is co2 powered in the handle its neat. More companies should make that type of design on there guns. The shell ejecting as much as i love realistic airsoft guns i find having a shell ejecting gun is hard to use in the field unless you have a tone of money to buy more shells.
Having it in the grip is a bit of a design flaw though. I mean I know the shells make it a crappy skirmish weapon anyway, but having the gas in the grip means you'll have to re-gas the gun for ever 3 or 4 magazines, and that makes an already impractical gun even worse.
Bullet4MyEnemy It's OK. Nobody will ever take this out to a game. This is one of those guns that you play around with alone or with friends just for the wow factor. So 3-4 magazines worth is just fine on one CO2 capsule.
ravenclanx That's only assuming I'm right with my guess though. Most pistols can get around 80 shots minimum from a single CO2 capsule and they generally have a much smaller, lighter mechanism to cycle back and forth. So with this it's probably significantly less shots per capsule. It might even be as low as 2 mags, since that's what you're given.
And how about..... MAKING IT F*CKING AFFORDABLE ???? Like, for normal people !!! There's not a lot of gbbrs on the market, and I'd cry for a sr25 gbb. Without shitty shells and the same price tag as my motorcycle. I think ( correct me if I'm wrong) there's more people that actually wants to play airsoft rather than shooting cans in their backyards with a 1600$ toy gun. So it's cool for the guy who wants to have something as close as he can get to the real steel. But it sucks for aaaall the people who want to really use it.
This gun was not designed for you. If you want to actually play in a game, buy an ARES AMOEBA and that will do just fine. Or any kind of AEG for that matter. This gun is for fulfilling fantasies...for the millions of people who live in countries where real gun ownership is illegal. If you live in the USA, then you can just buy a real gun to satisfy that craving.
RedWolf Airsoft But for $1600? The APS M50 shell ejector is only in the $230 - $260 range, and most shell ejecting shotguns are in the $300 - $500 ranges. I can understand the high price for the shell ejecting Barrett that just came out because of licensing and the shear amount of... well everything to it, but for an AR-10 that doesn't have licensing?
yes i know i'ts for collectors and no i don't want an aeg because it's so boring. I play with a we m4. And my main point is that they would sell a ton more of those if it was non shell ejecting. Comon, we don't have many sr25 on the market and the first gbb one is got to be 1600 dollars. Sweet. I'll just wait for vfc to make one. And i'd be curious how many people actually buy this...
RedWolf Airsoft and i'm sorry for that price i would prefer buy the madbull barrett. Wich is actually cheaper. And made of steel. seriously. though the sr25 is fantastic, and the design really well thaught. I'm just angry at the fact that they don't consider the rest of the airsoft world, the players in the first place.
That looks like a great addition to Airsoft! It would be epic to see everyone using them at a CQB match (Or even Milsim if it's not too expensive to buy enough shells)
Absolutely love your videos you inspirer me to get more detailed on my channel I love how supportive our community is even internationally it’s insane that any hobby could have what we have
For practically $1600 (after shipping) I could build build my own real AR-10 and still have money left over for a really nice scope. What in the manufacturing process of this GBBR validates that price? Edit: In the comments, Alex Young produces a very strong argument that's worth adding to the original question; companies like APS are producing/selling shell ejectors for a fraction of what this company and companies like this one are, what's happening here?
boysgangBkkp8 Airsoft was never designed to be cheaper. It came about from the unavailability of real guns in Japan, despite a population that liked them. If you think about it, it makes sense that they can cost a lot more. Firstly they're much more complex. Even though the materials are cheaper, and they're not as well made as a real gun, the actual design usually requires more components - compare a Ruger 10/22 to the KJW version. Gas guns are a harder and more expensive to manufacture than many real guns, and are made in much smaller facilities. It's all on a small scale. Then consider the amount they will sell. In this case, Rare Arms will be lucky to shift more than a few hundred. Considering the amount it would have cost to R&D this new design, set up new tooling for it (total factory retool) and manufacture them, the price needs to be high if they're only going to sell a few hundred. Think of how many millons of AR15s have been sold worldwide, airsoft guns will never get up to those figures and the companies making them are much smaller.
Practical or affordable for skirmishing? Definitely not. A perfect simulation for those in countries where you cannot legally own a firearm? Definitely. I feel this to be the target market for this rifle
This gun is Ideal for film makers too. so much time is spent in post adding casings flying out and in moving camera shots its a nightmare. with this you could just set up and go. All you have to worry about is adding muzzle flare and sound. do they or will they introduce a 30 round mag?
I have several questions for you.... 1) can we increase the fps by connecting an external gas bottle instead of that tube? .... 2) can we use pellets instead of BBs? .... 3) is this gas blow back available for sale in Thailand and in the United States? I appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance!
Finally CO2 rifle with the capsule in the gun itself! ..although more of a design limitation, and it still uses a capsule.. Is there a reason no one has made a GBBR with an integrated refillable CO2 system?
You should look at the SOCOM GEAR BARRETT M107 that was released last month. It's a CO2 gas blowback rifle with shell ejecting. The CO2 is charged directly into the shells. The recoil on that gun is hugely stronger. The reason you can charge CO2 directly into those shells is because the M107 shells are massive and can therefore accommodate more CO2. For this one, the shells are too small to be able to hold any significant amount of CO2 to power the gun properly.
@@redwolfairsoft I have to say that this claim is not correct. Air Crown first and later AirMunition made conversion kits for real firearms that propels simunition type proyectiles (heavier than bbs) at close if not even higher velocities than airsoft guns with real steel dimension shells which contains the gas for rifles and pistols. So, yes it is possible to obtain an airsoft rifle or pistol in which the gas is keep in the shell keeping the dimensions of these shells close if not equal to the real steel counterpart.
I know only one country of the more than 150 countries on Earth in which your claim is valid and taking into account that the population of this country don't even make the 10% of the Earth population, I guess that a lot of the people cannot take your claim as valid for themselves.
I`m pretty sure many comments here don`t quite understand that if you can afford this gun without flinching, you can probably afford as many shells as you could possibly need. Does that hex key sit properly? Seems like it would fall out after a few run arounds at a field though.

Dunno.
Smaller market, r&d, availability. There's actually a whole lot of real steel AR and AR parts in America so they're more or less pretty cheap.
Comparing airsoft to real steel is just stupid, they're designed for different markets and they have completely different purposes.
Inokatsu and ghk should not be used in the same sentence
Just only in terms of the recoil kick. But apart from that...yes - Inokatsu's are much more realistic looking than GHKs...by far.
