Dimash refused to participate in THE WORLD'S BEST contest. He was deceived and told that the children would not be on the project.

Dimash was burnt by the US tv contract for the so-called The World's Best. The producers violated the contract. Dimash quit. End of Story. He doesn't need a producer imo, his father does a great job organizing his shows and the internet provides the largest platform for promoting his talent and hard work. His fans happily spend time and money to follow him wherever he performs. What more could an artist want?

Dimash was lied to in a show in america. He refused to compete against 2 children and he left the show immediately. They didnt get their show off the ground after that and it wasnt renewed. Dimash is a very moral man and always does the decent thing. Dears never watch anything from that show and I wont name it . We all know what its called. Dimash also needs no producers, no contracts. Hs has his own company and studio, makes the most incredible videos and he releases his own music. We Dears do a lot to promote him and he loves and appreciates us for our work. It all boils down to Dimash being the boss, he has a good team around him but yes it all in his hands ❤

Dimash is independent, and that's why we love his songs so much, because they are his, his songs are who he is, Dimash is a man who knows what he wants, his Dears love him not only for his phenomenal voice, but for his character, personality, common sense, pure soul, Dimash is a true idol!!Thank you so much for the reaction, I'm eagerly waiting for the next video!!🤩 Big hug from Portugal 🫂🇵🇹

Dimash wont tie himself into any contracts at the moment. He wants to do what his heart tell him and we love him for that. Tying with western producers would make him to commercialised and he doesn't want that. Thanks again. Love these guides. x, love from Ireland.

Igor Krutoy said that to make a global career, unfortunately, you have to sign contracts. Living in Kazakhstan, performing a little here, a little there, Dimash will not make a career in America. However, contracts are very important. But it's Dimash's choice, if he prefers it, we respect it. Igor Krutoy already has an established career, financial base, and extensive connections, so he can afford to cooperate with Dimash without contracts, etc. But not everyone will agree to this. Especially producers.

🌺 To clarify what Igor Krutoy was referring to when he mentioned a “problem with an American contract”: He is alluding to Dimash’s involvement w/the US talent competition TV show, “The World’s Best”. Dimash had a contract with the show of course, but when he found out he had been lied to about the possibility of competing against children, he withdrew from the competition. It was a big scandal at the time. Of course, we Dears supported his decision 100%. The show’s producers, were not so understanding as you can imagine. Basically, Dimash gave up a million dollar prize in order to maintain his integrity. 👏👍🙏🏻❤️😇

Don’t forget that Dimash is more qualified than those around him make all the decisions. His Masters Degree in Musical Composition combined with his studies in Jazz, as well as Opera and Classical, and he has been already producing his own videos, and his dad is very involved in his concerts. So he already has heaps of experience, and is personally growing himself in areas that satisfy his talents and abilities.
Elvis Presley was under the control of the Colonel, the Beatles were controlled, But Freddy Mercury did his own thing all the way to his death.
So Dimash knows what he is doing and how to go about it.
The highups in Kazakh opera offered him a place at the Astana Opera, but he politely said no, as he wanted to develop himself in neo-classical popera.
So he is keeping all his options very open as he progresses into his future, and no-one will pull the rug out from under him.
He put up with interference from judges when he was a student in competitions and grew in wisdom from those circumstances.
He is in a beautiful destiny, has unbelievable focus and drive, and is taking his place in history.
He is very worthy of his successes, and his path has been laid out from above.

Kanat, Dimash's father, left an important position to take care of his son's production house. Or maybe he became his producer, I don't know anymore. Dimash has a lot of character and doesn't let himself be manipulated. He has values that he does not want to circumvent, he stays straight in his boots, as they say in France

I'm not sure if Igor is referring to The World's Best show in the US where Dimash walked out just before the final or the agency he apparently signed with but nothing ever happened from it.
Either way he's managing quite well by himself using an independent UK distribution company for his releases.
Now he's living in the US we just have to wait and see what he has up his sleeve next.

Dimash is special. He chose to be an independent singer. And to sing only what he wants the way he wants.
The concept of his concerts are totally his too.
Fun fact: he once hired a director for one of his concerts. He told her that he wanted to go on stage by rappelling down and that in the show he wanted to do some acrobatic jumps on the trampoline. She refused. They didn't speak to each other for 2 days. In the end, he did what he wanted and the poor director went backstage during the jumps so she couldn't see because she was very nervous! 😂😂😂

Regarding that comment by Igor. I suppose he is referring to CBS and the show World’s Best. Dimash came to LA in November 2018 to participate in the filming of The World’s Best, a new talent show on CBS which was probably trying to compete with AGT. Dimash was invited to participate. He asked whether he’d be competing against children and they told him no. All participants were strictly kept separated at first so Dimash went through the first two rounds without meeting anyone else. He was a clear favorite to win the show. By the semi-finals, where the three top acts in the four categories compete against one another, he met his competing solo musicians backstage. One was a little Indian boy pianist, and the other was a little Kazakh girl Daneliya, whom he’d previously met and mentored. There and then, he asked his father whether he’d be disappointed in Dimash were he to walk out at that point. Kanat (his father) replied that Dimash should do what his heart and his conscience told him to do. So Dimash performed but also announced his decision to withdraw from the competition in order to give the children a chance. The American judges (there were three American judges and 50 judges from around the world) were shocked and disappointed but in particular Ru Paul was very rude to him and said “That’s BS!” In reply to Dimash’s polite statement. It’s the only time I’ve ever seen Dimash angry but he controlled himself and repeated very respectfully that he was very honored to take part in this program, and that his decision had nothing to do with ego, etc. Anyhow we Dears all stand by Dimash’s decision. He soon after announced he was done with competitions and indeed became instead judge in various contests in China and Russia.

Dimash turned down an American company because of the CBS fiasco of a show called World's Best. He was told, even before the show started, that he would not be competing against children on the show. But as he ran into a little girl behind the scenes, Daneliya Tuleshova, whom he knows from Kazakhstan, he realized that he was, in fact, competing against children. And as Dimash was 24-25 at the time, he decided to remove himself from the show and resign. Well, they lied to him, so i don't blame him. How do you trust a company that lies to you. They were very mean to him and insulted his integrity. Dimash was pretty much slated to win if he hadn't resigned. FYI, Dimash is living in the States now, although he's still hopping all over the world. Lol.

The western music industry is a minefield for Dimash and his family partly because they don't have fluent English between them. The industry is very manipulative and is only interested in dumbed down pop music they can sell to children. This influences their future tastes in music so they continue to love all the pop they grew up with. We see it everywhere. Have you noticed in the UK the BBC introducing stage at every big festival? The BBC have been manipulating the musical tastes for decades and they're still doing it. I feel sorry for all highly trained musicians and singers because if they wish to keep their musical integrity they have a huge battle to get anywhere. Radio play is payed for by the big boys in the industry. The radio shows really do not have a say in what is promoted 😥

I don't know exactly what Igor Krutoy is refering to. What I know is that western composers like Piergiuseppe Zaia (Across Endless Dimensions), Thomas Parisch (Ocean Over the Time), Nathan Wang - they were very much excited to compose for Dimash, as they point out in their interviews, because of his unique vocal abilities and amazing range. But their compositions turn into symphonic poems, which are too difficult for anyone else to attempt but Dimash. They are not the mundane cachy pop songs of two movements and two octaves that you hum under the shower. They are not played on the radio. People listen to Dimash's performances in awe just like they visit museums to be amazed by the masterpieces, and they know perfectly well that only few can reach these heights. That being said, it is really hard to promote Dimash to a public who comes to music just for fun. Dimash is never just for fun and never can be, despite his engaging sense of humor and his infectious smile, his energy and fire. To become famous among today's young English speaking public and that of the West in general is for Dimash a mission almost impossible. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think so. China is different. China does everything to keep its ancient culture of finess, elegance, richness and perfection alive and bring its young population to it. Dimash has a huge young fanbase there. The young generation in China opens to his mando songs and to every other of his songs of beautiful music and poetry, of artisty and absolute vocal mastery, with deep appreciation. Everywhere else his fans are 35+. 10x😊💖

    They are totally confusing/mixing up record label/management/producers, that's why you're confused 😀
His dad is his manager, he works with producers and composers independently here and there and he doesn't want to sign a long term contract with a label or a management company. He was with some sort of management company when he took off in China in 2017 and I think the contract lasted for 2-3 years but was for China only (I think it was absolutely necessary, he would never have been able to navigate China on his own). He did what he wanted outside of China.

Unsuccessful contract in the West - when Dimash participated in the show "Talent" in the United States, he indicated in the contract that he did not want to compete with children, because it was not fair. But the organizers of the show deceived him and took the children, who had to compete on a par with Dimash. Then Dimash said that he refused and left the show. It was a scandal and Western producers got angry with him. That's what the video is about.
