Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😥
Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform.
1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war.
“People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony.

Any good work always allows the viewer to become a co-author, allows us to create interpretations ourselves, but within the limits of the main author's message. A complex work often requires repeated careful viewing.
This film is full of symbolism. From the very first seconds, we are shown frames of the cyclical nature of the story, but we will be able to understand this only after a second viewing. An obscure figure, a drowning man... Is this a young man dying on the threshold of his big life, or is this a warrior who completed his life path both for himself and for many other people?
We are at the beginning of the life cycle, and the lace in the foreground unequivocally reminds us of the umbilical cord. A boy who has just drowned is ready for his second birth...
Dimash's first message: we are born equal, pure, potentially good people. Children are an unwritten book in which life can fit any plot.
We see three friends who, as children, are full of nobility and courage (an older boy selflessly saves his friend), a thirst for knowledge of the world and a thirst to share these discoveries. However, already at these stages, the first signs of disagreement appear: a brave boy, pumping out a friend, looks for approval from a girl with his eyes. He wants to look like a hero in her eyes. But the girl does not notice this, her heart has already been given to another, and only his fate cares about her. That's the first disappointment of life - a feat will not make you a hero. You can't expect a fair reward from people. A friend may not meet your expectations.
What other disappointments will this boy know, who eventually transforms from a selfless young man into a ruthless and cynical dictator?
The amulet (the arrow of the solar clock showing both time and direction) has become a symbol of different ideas in the hands of our heroes. For a couple in love, it is a symbol of unity, indicating their common path (they have become a married couple, they have a daughter and a son will be born in the final). Another boy never accepted this amulet as a symbol of friendship (he does not wear it on his chest near his heart), he bent it in a fit of rage (thus the arrow stopped pointing the right way) and used this amulet upside down as a symbol of his false inverted ideals. He became a dictator (in the lyrics of the song - a Pied Piper, who draws children to destruction with the sounds of his lying flute).
Many years later we see that the Dictator unleashed a bloodbath in the name of his false ideals. Many believe that Dimash portrays the opposing side of Good to Evil. I see something else.
A patch on the sleeve of Dimash's character is poked into our eyes several times: a complex interweaving of sharp corners and circles. Dimash's character is not a leader, he is an ordinary soldier who has also taken some ideological side. What do these circles and angles represent? Who stands behind Dimash's character and pushes him into battle? Maybe he's protecting his city from invasion? Apparently not! Everything points to the fact that this is a civil war, because the action takes place in their hometown. All three of them lived in this city, and now they are feuding and destroying their home.
Waldenberg in this clip is the personification of the whole planet. We all live under the same sky. And in this sense, ANY WAR is a civil war, fueled by various but ALWAYS false ideas, including territorial claims. I think this is the second message of Dimash, directly following from the title of the clip.
Therefore, behind the back of Dimash's character is another exactly the same Pied Piper, with complex, confusing and false ideas pushing his followers into this meat grinder.
The plaque with the name of the city in Gothic script Waldenberg is a direct reference to the real German city of Waldenburg, completely destroyed by Allied troops during World War II, when there was no need at all, because by the end of the war there were mostly only women and children in this city. The one who was supposed to bring good brought evil.
Dimash's third message is that war has no good sides. All participants in wars are somehow agents of evil.
Is it an accident that Waldenburg translates as "The City of Waldemar"? Well, or Vladimir in the Slavic version. Both leaders of the modern confrontation are called Vladimir ...
Dimash certainly sympathizes with his character, he understands what exactly drives his hero, but does not justify his actions.
When his character, driven by anger, despair and revenge, comes to the Dictator for retribution, then a storm begins in a world where souls of different faiths, cultures, ethnicities, epochs who have chosen the road to light (good) have been walking along a thorny road for thousands of years of human history! Dimash's character, having killed his savior, thanks to whom he lived all these years, immediately receives karma in return and returns to the waters of nothingness, where he should have stayed many years ago. At the moment of death, the thirst for life gives him the last most powerful life lesson: acceptance of the idea of the primordial value of human life. FOR EVERYONE WITHOUT EXCEPTION! Even for a Dictator! Even for his daughter's murderers! This is the fourth very important message of Dimash. In a near-death epiphany, his hero sees in flashbacks the moments of his life, both bright (shots from his childhood) and unrighteous (shots of how he takes the lives of his opponents). Dimash's fifth message is to rethink your values, it's never too late to repent. It is this repentance that allows the soul of Dimash's character to transform and be reborn in the best version of himself. The waters into which our hero fell are also an allegory for amniotic fluid, an allegory of reincarnation in the body of his newborn son, who, having received such a powerful life attitude from his father, will never take up arms again and will not join any side of the conflict.
The soul of a warrior sinks to the bottom of Nothingness completely. All three characters die in this story at the same time, allowing a new soul to be born, giving hope for a better future for Humanity. Dimash is a Muslim, and he does not preach the idea of reincarnation. Reincarnation here is just a metaphor necessary to convey his messages.
The souls of the righteous, who once accepted the simple truth about the primary value of human life, raising their hands to the dazzling Light that flooded the horizon, meet their new follower, who joined their march towards Light and Goodness. He is an equal among them, who has accepted his mission as a shepherd, among others, each of whom carries his mission on this path: someone blows a horn, calling for unification, someone brings enlightenment to the masses (a book is a symbol of knowledge), someone carries his cross, and someone leaves the race unable to withstand the hardships of the way.
The fifth message of Dimash - the simple acceptance of the idea of renouncing weapons and violence will allow each of us to join this stream of righteous souls. Only when WE ALL join this stream, only then will the wars stop.
Dimash wrote the music and script for this video based on his own long-standing story. Everything we see and hear is the flesh of the flesh of feelings, thoughts, ideas of Dimash. Dimash is an ancient soul.
The live premier of this song performance was at his Almaty concert. The energy and emotion that he provides was shown in brilliance which you need to see. Both the video and his live show are must see opportunities so take the time to better understand what Dimash was actually trying to tell the world that all peoples, religions and countries live in one world under the same sky and we need to all save this world.
You are a man of your word . Thank you. I help you: the boy who saves Dimash, was still innocent and we see that he is corrupted and transformed into "the crazy Piper" in allusion to the flauitist of Hamelin. Dimash and the girl form a family. While she gives birth, the eldest daughter is murdered. In the end everyone dies, nobody wins in wars. The desert part is towards the future when the son of Dimash grows up and is the leader of all religions. Utopian but beautiful message.

Yes she was dimash’s daughter. At the beginning both boys loved the girl the girl chose Dimash which in turn ruined their friendship and they took different paths. In life you know that even best friends can end up taking different paths. While giving birth his wife dies, and the baby was given her necklace. The necklace is not just an object it’s actually a tool called a Knomon used by sailers like a sundial. Notice the middle circle is open but is closed on the tyrants uniforms. Another symbol. I had to watch several times. The middle section is people of all religions walking together showing that religion should not matter, there’s more meaning but trying to keep this short.
It's about all of us in life choosing life and love and no longer participating in killing each other. We no longer follow the leaders. All people - no matter what culture and religion - are united "under one sky" and go into the light. ~ The story is full of symbolism, but that would require too long an explanation. ~ By the way Dimash sang this song live at his concerts! The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own script. (He has been working on this piece for the last 3 years). Director Alina Veripya told about the creation of the music video for the new song: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his two friends are united by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children's story, since the boys are in love with a girl and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children's problems to the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. Upon becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where each city, each house is one. We will lead all those who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me, and I want to give it to you. "War for the people is the path to unity."
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the prism of kindness and love.

However, the protagonist's wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who will give birth to a special child who can save the world. They are people of different nationalities and religions who have come together for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims is made up of people of different religions, traveling the difficult path to a place of power where they could unite and discover the celestial eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the Protagonist's child is born, as hope and faith in the best. His path is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our path to God is difficult, but only possible if we unite.
This clip is not about war, but about peace. The war here is a way of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for each other. This is the call to unite, to stop dividing ourselves on national, social and religious grounds to preserve life, love, friendship and the earth for our children.

Объясняю. Дети, любовь и рай на земле. Она выбирает- один ( Димаш) 20:27 счастлив и видит мир, через символ(это деталь старого компаса и когда, он вверху он помогает найти путь); другой- видит мир наоборот и символ перевёрнут. Время проходит. Конфликт. Димаш и Она (беременна), и девочка- семья. Тот, кто спасал- лидер.
Дома у героя убивают людей и дочь. Жену спасают, потому, что знают -КОГО она родит( рожает в старом храме).
Герой возвращается домой . Он в горе. Вау- Его голос разрывает сердце.!!! Тогда же мы видим другой наш мир, где тоже идёт борьба. В этом мире люди идут к Богу. У Бога много лиц, но ты должен пройти много испытаний. Многие не доходят.
Своим голосом Димаш объединяет боль рождения и боль смерти. Интенсивность нарастает вместе с местью. Люди в другом мире, тоже испытывают себя. Месть или жертва??
Димаш падает в воду- в воде рождается жизнь. Круг смыкается. Роды. Жизнь- свет!
Тот, который рождён - Он один из тех, кто в другом мире ищет Бога, а может и ведёт нас к нему.

Dimash is more than just the perfect vocals. Hes a peace advocate, humanitarian, true artist and an examplary young man with his family life etc. We need more artists like him. Tired of drunken, party animal twerking type of singers really.

This is Dimash's masterpiece calling for peace among all people. The dictator is the boy who once saved Dimash (the young boy drowning) and it has projected into the future where the boys have gone separate ways asvl adults. Dimash has married the young girl & the little girl who Dimash finds dead is his child. The huge irony is the boy who saved Dimash is now his enemy who has caused the death of the child and many others. It points out the uselessness of war and fighting each other while living under the same one sky. The people of all religions are those who trudge through life dealing with the insanity of this fighting each other even different religions.

Главное - это мощнейший посыл к прекращению войн ! Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. The necklace is a gnomon which is a sun dial used for maritime navigation by pointing northward. Notice how it looks bent in the evil leader's hand which could me that he lost his true north?

In summary, we are all under one sky. Humankind with all religions, all believes, at the end, are one...We keep forgetting that we are all the same, walking the one road...through the cyclical pain of birth, death and rebirth. As a Historian, I am sure you are more aware than most, about the never ending cycle of destruction, pain and death. You can see the burning sign of Waldenberg , which was destroyed in WWII. The images shifts from present and past...the same cycle of life. we can do better.
You’ve got most of it. Then you need to rewatch it on your own multiple times to catch all the symbolism, allusions, messages and so on. Check the lyrics, the shape of the medal (a gnomon), why that shape should have lost the hole once it was used by the dictator, the various religions represented, the wooden plaque withe the name Waldenberg (obviously a reference to Waldenburg where Hitler’s army took its last stand. This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life.
Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb)
So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer.

There is so much going on in this video that it's difficult to figure everything out in one viewing, but you did remarkably well! As an aside, in 30 years of nursing, I only know of ONE time where compressions-only was given in a code-going-wrong where someone had to run for a missing ambu bag. After 30 seconds, just as the ambu bag and crash cart arrived, the arrhythmia resolved and the patient vigorously awoke. Incredible!
Arrhythmia with no pulse. So, like a PEA or something that would be pulseless like V-tach? I'm curious as to the underlying cause where compressions did it alone. I remember back when airway was everything (early 90s). Then defibrillation took the front seat. Then they decided hands only was more effective and airway didn't do much. Weird to see things come full circle. Great story though!

Cardiology basically told the patient it was a miracle he came back from that--without using the "m" word. I think he received an implanted defibrillator after that.
@mrychards6682 ahh, so must've been V-tach/fib then if he needed a defibrillator. Probably just manhandling the heart reset it. I remember the days we did the precordial thump. Worked quite a bit!

Yes, Dimash is the one who drowned, the girl grows up to be his wife, the boy who rescued grows up to be the dictator. The symbol is a navigator's tool- to find your way using the sun. The ruler distorts the symbol and uses it with the sense that he is himself the ruler of life- afterall he just saved someone. The people climbing the mountain are representing th world's religions and holy ones. Dimash is very much a man devoted to God, love and peace in the world.

I don't really understand why you had problems with copyright. That shouldn't exist in this video. I only saw very few blocked videos after releasing but not a single one after that. Dimash explicitly wants this video to be seen and shared.

The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.

As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.

Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Ohm", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.

Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.

If you're talking about the bit at the end there, it's always a risk with live streams. When I just uploaded the video by itself, it did get a copyright claim (not a block, I just cannot monetize). But in a stream, something that will trip a simple CR claim can collapse a live stream. It's pretty complicated.
