Dimash was the one who got saved, grew up and married the girl. They had a daughter and their newborn son (during the course of the conflict). The son grew up to be a leader of peace. The "piper" (military leader) was Dimash's characters childhood friend who originally saved him from drowning as a child. They ended up on opposite sides of the military conflict.
And his friend did also whant the girl. I was not the same after she did not whant him but Dimash. He became evil and was trying to make a better world with war. But to fix things you shouldn't destroy them. That dusn't make any sense.

Lord, I can't believe you're just now getting to this one, Sir! If you haven't watched the LIVE performance you must do so immediately. It's incredible and can be found about 25 minutes into Part 3 of his Almaty concert on his official YT channel. Isn't DQ mind-blowing. The depth of his creative virtuosity cannot be overstated. He's phenomenal.
This is not one of those video's you can take your eyes off, or you miss subtle clues. The imagery is more important than the lyrics.
👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace).
One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'.
The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work.
The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.

My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

Dimash é único. O melhor do mundo, na minha opinião. Artista completo: cantor, compositor, produtor, multi-instrumentista e possui uma versatilidade musical gigantesca. Whoa. I actually had to fastforward a bit. It was too intense, tears in my eyes. This story is just amazing, but I can’t take it in just in one set. I need to work out these bits first. It is just crazy, we should find a way live in this planet peacefully.
You got the story right except that Dimash as a child was the one that almost drowned. So he owed his life to the dictator whose army slaughtered his family, especially his daughter. The mother of the little girl (the girl of the trio on the beach and who became Dimash’s wife) died giving birth to the new baby. So here’s where I diverge from the story going forward, most dears say the baby becomes the man at the end leading the group. I like to think that the man at the end is Dimash in the afterlife, and sure the baby will grow up with only the legend of his parents. He could follow in Dimash’s footsteps because he’s still living, but the song is called a requiem at the start, which is a story of the dead, so I think the song is about Dimash as the main protagonist of the story. You really must watch the live concert version of this song now that you’ve seen the music video, it’s absolutely spectacular on a whole other level! Great reaction, I love seeing people truly appreciating Dimash’s voice!

It is the opposite. Dimash was saved by the boy that became the Military leader. And the girl ended up with Dimash and birthed their daughter who was holding the stuffed animal when she was confronted by the guns. Then Dimash found her and picked her body up. The two children in the boat are the parents of the killed girl and the newborn. The boy jealous of the young love, who saved the smaller boy (role Dimash), becomes the "dictator". - Dimash sings his composition, live on stage. Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, and also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, and the other boy grew resentment with time and grew up to become the Piper and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions.

To DL2010000 The Dimash character is doing CPR on the drowning boy so HE could not be the one drowning. He is the one making the amulet, which he gives to the girl and tries to give to the older boy, who is angry that the girl rejected him.
@@suzanne6664 Yes, Dimash was the drowning boy, and after the ordeal, Dimash was grateful to his friends for saving his life, which is why he created the necklace to share with them and to cement their friendship. If you also noticed, the boy who saved Dimash did not want to take the necklace from Dimash, because he was angry that the girl chose Dimash over him. Also, when the scene changes to the leader standing at the podium, notice that the necklace was sitting on the podium, because he never put wore it but always kepr it with him and even used the symbol on his uniform and the podium. Dimash was the child who was saved. Note that the older boy bends the emblem (part of a maritime compass/sundial) and is thus unable to follow the correct path. The water scene at the end, I see as his life flashing before his eyes at the moment of death. Also, as a side ID, not the mole on the face of the child hero and the adult leader. There have been many interpretations of the final scene but I think of it as all those who have fought for a better world, marching together regardless of race, religion, etc. and going toward "life".

Dimash was SAVED by his friend, then Dimash ended up killing him and being killed himself (returning to the water, during his death) During the beach scene, you see the girl rebuke the boy's advances and run back to Dimash who then gives the boy, who saved his life, the necklace, you notice the boy, hesitate to accept the gift and Dimash takes his hand and places it in his palm. The boy then goes on to be the leader of a war he rages and Dimash marries the girl. They have a daughter who is murdered and found by Dimash, then a baby son born during his father's death, who grows up in his father's image, to lead the free world.
Dimash was the saved boy not one who saved.

His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms. Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and a very warm and humble person. In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center.
Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. At age five Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year.
He (Dimash) has begun working with legendary Grammy-winning producer/composer Walter Afanasieff to produce a new song which will be released for principally the US market in the next couple of months. Afanasieff described Dimash as “the greatest voice I have ever heard,” after their first studio session and contract meeting on 22 November 2019. That is high praise when you consider the list of artists for which he has composed and produced, including Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Richard Marx, Whitney Houston, Thalía, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, George Benson, Destiny's Child, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Toni Braxton, Andrea Bocelli, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Loggins, Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Leona Lewis and Idina Menzel. Perhaps his admiration is focused on the fact that Dimash can sing in 14 different languages and has a vocal range of 7.7 octaves, with his highest note being a D8 (off the piano keyboard and the third highest note ever sung by a male)!

The soundtrack and Dimash's vocals - stunning as usual - are background to the Visuals. Dimash spent several $ Mill and 3 years of his life creating this masterpiece { # which, BTW earned a Special Award recognising One Sky's Contribution toward Multi-Faith Understanding and Cooperation and towards World Peace. This Award was presented to Dimash in Kazakhstan last September by The Pope, who was there attending a Multi-Faith Congress.# }.
Soooo... you might want to go back and view it again, because it looked like you were missing a lot of critical ( to the Story-line} visuals, while you were scanning the lyrics.
You got it a bit backwards... It was the childhood friend who saved Dimash's life on the beach that day, where Dimash's character then made these 3 necklaces of symbols that are about unity, and also as part of a maritime compass that is used to 'guide in the right direction'. But from the start the friend bent and distorted his symbol. He was jealous over the girl's attention, who preferred Dimash. ( it was their daughter that was killed} The friend grew up to become the murderous Dictator, using the symbol on his troops uniforms, upside down, not as the right path, but for Power { opposite to the right path }. His troops killed many in his distorted idea of 'unity'.
Dimash often has anti-war and humanitarian messages in his work, but here his message is huge and direct. We all live on this one spinning ball of rock in space { This Pale Blue Dot * see Carl Sagan} All Under the One Sky, and we need to recognise that we are { in many parts of the world } blindly following / dancing to the tune of mad 'Pipers', who are leading us into pointless territorial and genocidal wars. That we need to STOP this madness before HUMANITY hurtles straight over the edge of an Extinction Cliff - of our own making, and, YES, the time is SHORT. We are already on that cliff's crumbling edge...
He ends on a message of HOPE. As he kills his former friend to stop the war, and in turn is killed himself, a new life is born/ he is re-born. Concurrently, Dimash shows all peoples from all Cultures and all Faiths, walking together - UNIFIED - towards the light of a bright new world / future.
A very significant piece of work by Dimash, who continues to use his gifts to make a positive difference in the world.

The composer (Piergiuseppe Zaia) initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film, and the title of the piece is "The Story of Jesus". When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits.

You really needed to focus fully on the video Mr Boyd. It is very complex and requires absolute focus and engagement of your intelligence. Otherwise you miss vital pieces of the story and end up with an incomplete idea of what you have listened to. Every tiny action and nuance in the video has importance. For example, there is tension suddenly between the girl and the taller boy on the beach. Why? Why did he go off on his own scowling and looking out to sea? Why did he not put the gifted necklace around his neck but instead held it in his hand and bent it with the force of his grip? The other little boy playfully punched the top of his right arm as he left. Later the camera suddenly switched to the right upper arm of the military leader, which had the same strange icon embroidered on it, except it was missing the little hole. Everything was important and you missed so much by looking away. I simply couldn't watch you all the way through. You see, there is respect that needs to be given to good artists' work and it is as though you did not show very much of that. You were too self absorbed, thinking of other things or distracted. It's a thumbs down from me I'm afraid.
In the beginning, there are 3 children with pure souls who go through the traumatic experience of being close to a friend's drowning, but they manage to save together and form a kind of brotherhood for which they choose a sign, an initially innocent sign with a good meaning, they chose life (by the way the sign is an instrument for searching the way). Life offered them different ways of personal development, one became a dictator, another became a soldier fighting for his friend's ideas out of conviction while the girl is about to give birth. The horrors of the war culminating in the killing of the innocent little girl cause the soldier to wake up to reality, who correctly decides that the dictator and the media manipulation ("War is the way to unite people!") by which he won his supporters are to blame. Like any dictator, he needs a message and a symbol. The message is a false one "The war is the way to unite people!", and the symbol is distorted exactly as Hitler distorted the originally beneficial meaning of the swastika (by the way the sign has a hole and the dictator's sign has no one)! Those who march in the desert looking for the light and facing hardships to reach the light, the light for which they are even willing to die, are of various religions, I counted at least a few extremely visible even for those less familiar with them (the Christian cross , the book of the Koran, the shaolin costume, etc.). The clip has great symbolism combining the pain of death and birth, each bringing something else, one deep pain, and the other hope in life! To emphasize this idea, the clip has a cyclical meaning, the return to the water shows us what we have lost and for which it is worth fighting, obviously the newborn grows up and it is as obvious that it is Dimash's child as that of the girl from the beginning, and he gets to lead the world regardless of religion towards the light of life! That's how I see this video clip! If I made a mistake, I apologize! To these I would add that, depending on the moment, Dimash exceptionally chooses the most suitable means of conveying his feelings to us. When I say this, I mean the vocal techniques used, the timbre of the voice, the scenic and interpretive presence and his immense vocal range. Dimash is the composer, singer, actor, screenwriter and director. The lyricist is Lila Vinogradova who usually writes the lyrics for Igor Krutoy's songs. This masterpiece accumulated the work of 3 years and was completed by its release in the summer of 2022, so it was not inspired by the war in Ukraine, but the moment of its appearance is significant. I assumed that the one saved is Dimash from the video because, as a dictator, he would not have hijacked the initial meaning of the symbol (friendship and the fight for life) and of his drawing (he would have kept the hole). In addition, when he was a child, and when he became dictator, he kept the gesture of clenching the symbol in his fist, while Dimash kept it around his neck and his mother put it on the newborn child as well. How meticulous Dimash is in everything he does, it seems to me that these little signals hidden as metaphors must be taken into account!

The Protagonist (Dimash) dies, his daughter dies as an innocent victim of the war, the antagonist dies. The son (of the Protagonist and his wife) survives with the help of people of all faiths and, in the last frame, continues, together with pilgrims of all faiths, on the path of Kindness, Hope and Faith. for the best.

This is a mini message to the world, watching and listening is paramount. Dimash vocals in this are astounding. You have to go with how its making you feel. The child actors did very well. Beautiful location. A message for the world.
You can't watch the movie, listen and read the words at the same times, just takes your focus away from the message on screen. Plus the words don't translate well on you tube.
