I like your style is different with each apartment. The first apartment was very neutral. The second was a mix. Now this apartment is very eclectic and bold with color. I knew the terra cotta and green would be a nice combo. 😉It seems like with your last apartment you didn’t really get settled in or was limited by how you could decorate, but this apartment is really allowing you to be free and creative.
so true! Theres a lot I always wanted to do but was limited or felt it wasnt worth the investment but Ive moved away from that way of thinking and want to seize these moments because we arent promised tomorrow.

The style of the bathroom turned out to be not my cup of tea, however, I really enjoyed watching how you paid attention to all the little details. You inspired me to take care and transform my environment to a better version to show myself that I do care about myself and deserve to live in a place that I like :)

I feel like I know so many people (live in bf included) that don’t care to upgrade or renovate their rented spaces because they “don’t want to increase the value of someone’s else’s property for them”. Which, fine, fair if they don’t have the resources or inclination, but sometimes it’s coming from an attitude of not caring about your home in general imo. But we care. We care ALOT lol 😅

I really liked the terra cotta & green - very tropical & familiar to me. Lovely!!! The white tile with those rich colors is a little jarring but unavoidable, I guess. I just wish there was some sunlight pouring down on all those colors to bring out their full beauty.
Sunlight would be great! Then i could truly capture the colors at least. I wouldve preferred another color too but at least the shower curtain tones it down and the white as a background allows those colors to pop as well. unfortunately my options were limited. i figured with the sink, tub, and toilet, white would have to work with the palette by default anyway

I love the style, the expression and the color combinations. It speaks of who you are and it's informative too. I love different but I don't like wierd. It has to make sense, be artistically attractive and functional so even if it's not my taste I can still appreciate the vision.

Omgosh I'm such a paint, contact paper, picture frame, diy-er 😂😂. I got silver sheets that look like mirrors from Amazon and brought a nesting table that was Mom's back to life and now it looks like a dope mirrored puzzle. Your paint reminds me of the spa like/rainforest in your other bathroom. I'm just excited about new content and the " how you going to be ugly and bad at your job" is certainly something a Gemini would say if we get frustrated😂. Thanks A🤩🥰.

I, too, do not like using the towel rack above the toilet. In fact, I've over thought it enough to not keep my towel in the bathroom at all. If you want more storage in there, maybe try those stands that go above your toilet? Since you're not using the bar?
i plan to just hang some artwork as i dont want any open shelving above the toilet for the same reason. plus what i have now is sufficient👍

thats a great idea! its still difficult tho because I dont get natural sunlight. The issue is the bathroom has both cool and warm light fixtures 😩

Do you think it would be okay to place a full sheet of vinyl and then exacto-knife the grout lines out?
depends…if your tiles arent exactly straight you could scratch them or dig into/crack the grout (its a bit crumbly and easy to disturb when it hasnt been resealed in a while) not to mention itd be pretty time consuming. You’d probably be better off laying a full sheet and If you want the look of grout lines, just fake it with thin vynil tape. thats what i did on a faux backsplash in my kitchen ruclips.net/video/jPhU4n2UER4/видео.htmlsi=552wKTE5YS3PRHwB

this might be extra but if you really wanted to use those shower shelves maybe cut the suction size circle out of the contact paper (like two large eyes) that way you can have the uniformity of the white tiles but have the suction directly on the real tiles …am i making sense? lol
oh wait. or is the suction the entire rectangle? if so then nevermind! that would look off
