Cube Analog 2022 is a wonderful bike. I bought one 7 days ago. I covered 50 km last weekend, unfortunately the weather doesn't let me pedal anymore, it's raining and it's cold. Congratulations on your choice, and I hope to see as many videos with her as possible. Enjoy cycling!
I owned a Cube Analog before I fell out of love for MTBing. You get a lot of bike for your money so when I bought my gravel bike didn’t look at another make. Nice one
Yea you defo do seem to get a pretty decent spec for not a lot of money which is great! I ride a Canyon on the road, but they don’t ship to NI anymore unfortunately, but I’m very happy with the Cube so far!
Thanks for this, I had pretty much made up my mind to buy this bike (in the more garish lime :)) however, this has helped solidify my decision to pay the deposit tomorrow. Happy biking, Stu.
I thought the accent was familiar, my one year younger brother was born in Ballymote Ireland August 1965 at a Catholic nuns house and he's the most successful of 5 children , freshly retired with full pension and, I think I'm going with a 2022 Cube Aim pro in same color scheme as your's $500 off retail right now at $999.00 CAD ,& putting 5 great touring accessories on it Both fenders,Both Lights and the Universal Kickstand,So should be a great bike , Never have spending over a G Note for a New pedal bike instead of buying second hand used for $400 less, So I figured the extra cash for a New bike is the wiser way to go. From Alberta Canada.
Thanks for the comment! There’s always an Irish connection somewhere 😁 - enjoy the new bike, there must be some amazing places to ride in Alberta! I’ve only ever been to BC!
Hey, I would really appreciate if you could tell me what is the sizing for the inner tube? Are they presta or shrader, what size do I need for 29 inch tyres?
Hi! Great video and great bike. I have the exact model in mind, but I don't know yet what size should I get. What height are you and how does the handling feel? I'm 1.78 and thinking of buying the L size frame.
Hi, i'm about your size (maybe around 1.76), and the M size (18") works well. You're just in between the two sizes, try them both if you can. Cube are very good bikes.
Awesome vídeo. I just bought one over the weekend. I need to use it now 😁. Quick question, did you installed an internal dropper post? Were you able to route all the cables internally?
Yea I routed the dropper cable internally, there is a bit of a gap around the bottom bracket shell, but other than that all good, the one mistake I made was I bought the wrong lever, I bought a 2x lever, rather than 1x
Awesome vid Connor! I got a question, is the geometry for the bike fitting for descents? It doesn't have a really aggressive geometry and I'm thinking it won't be able to take on some "challenges". I don't ride gnarly trails anyway, but Im mainly asking about the comfort part of it and the confidence it gives you down a trail. Thanks!
I'll be honest, I'm probably not the best to answer that. I'm really new to mountain biking so I don't really know what it 'should' feel like on descents if that makes sense... What I will say is, the lack of confidence that I have at times, is down to my limited skills. The bike itself has felt really great, if a little heavy - and I am using a dropper post for descents
@user-lv6dd1gs3j I do still love this bike, however I don’t ride it as much as I expected to, I’ve discovered gravel riding and do more of that than straight up mountain biking, but when I do mountain bike I still love the Cube
Seem to be so far, the one down side is it isn’t a remote lock out, it’s just a lockout on the top of the fork, which can be a bit sketchy when I remember halfway down a trail that I haven’t unlocked it 😂

Yea the weather here is a bit grim now too! But Hopefully plenty of miles on the bike over the winter anyways
I was looking at this bike and thought I'd look at some reviews first, I've just ordered it thanks to your video
Ahh that's great! I hope you enjoy it! I've really enjoyed mine so far!
@@connormcc cheers, i've had it a few days now, really impressed with it, specially how it just keeps rolling up hills.

why did u fall out of love for mtb?
@@pejv7903 too slow, wet, muddy and then spend hours the next day cleaning it. Road and gravel for me
Great video. I got mine but in flash green can't fault the bike proper good and looks the part
Yea it's been ideal as my first mountain bike (I sound like a 10 year old saying that, lol) to get me into the sport a bit
Thanks for this, I had pretty much made up my mind to buy this bike (in the more garish lime :)) however, this has helped solidify my decision to pay the deposit tomorrow. Happy biking, Stu.
Brilliant! I’m a totally novice to mountain biking but this seemed to tick all the boxes for me…
Bike looks great Connor. Keep up the good work.
Yea it’s definitely more fun than the road bike in the winter, that’s for sure!
I’m sure it’s no real comparison on Garvagh or the like, but there are some pretty good trails round Craigavon Lakes.
I must check them out! Always looking for more places to ride!

Hello, I have a question, where did you get the lockout remote control? normally it is not included and you have to buy it separately.
The little lever on my bars is for my dropper post, not the lockout - I don't have a remote lockout, just a lever on top of the fork itself
Hey, I would really appreciate if you could tell me what is the sizing for the inner tube? Are they presta or shrader, what size do I need for 29 inch tyres?
It’s Schrader valves, and I think it’s just a standard 29 MTB inner tube you need
what speed can be cut with this bike on a straight road, I have never ridden with such a gear ratio so I ask
Ohh, I'm not sure, depends on grade, wind etc, but probably about 20mph is the fastest I've been on a road section on it
How did you installed the dropper post? I have a small version of Cube AIM and I cannof find a way to install the cable internally..
Not all bikes accept an internal dropper post - there needs to be an opening, or a cable port at the bottom of the seat tube, and the down tube
Hi! Great video and great bike. I have the exact model in mind, but I don't know yet what size should I get. What height are you and how does the handling feel? I'm 1.78 and thinking of buying the L size frame.
I’m 1.65, and the medium frame feels ok, maybe a little bit, but not bad
Hi, i'm about your size (maybe around 1.76), and the M size (18") works well. You're just in between the two sizes, try them both if you can. Cube are very good bikes.
I bought this bike, unfortunately I am wrong, the front wheel is slightly centered, while in the rear wheel something touches something like a bearing
Hmm, that doesn't sound great, probably worth taking to your local bike shop or back to where you bought it to get it looked at
Awesome vídeo. I just bought one over the weekend. I need to use it now 😁. Quick question, did you installed an internal dropper post? Were you able to route all the cables internally?

How much does it cost brand new
I think it was about £950 from memory
Hi mate I am thinking of getting one of these bikes. you said you got a size medium, how tall are you?
I’m 5 foot 6, and the medium is probably just ever so slightly on the big side for me… at 5 6 I might have been a little more comfortable on a small

That was the idea 😂

Are forks good?

They lack the versatility of Sporks.
What speed can it reach?
Umm, I guess whatever speed the rider and the terrain dictate 🤷🏻♂️
I’m a newbie at mountain biking though so not very fast so far 😂

I think the fastest I’ve had it (according to Strava) is about 60km/h
