I’m currently buying all the stuff for the swap, its going to be my daily driver soon, I love old vans. I put a set of 15x8 truck rally’s on it this week, it looks much better now. I will put a short video clip of it in this weeks shop update. Thanks for watching man
Yes , it fit without cutting the firewall although it is tight near the doghouse opening. A c10 is different then a van, but many people have done the swaps in c10s.
All I've pretty much driven for the past 25 years is vans. First was a 1970 Dodge A-100, then a 69 Dodge A-100 for quite a few years, a 1972 Dodge B-200, a 1994 Dodge B-250, and currently a 1993 Chevy G-20. I have a set of 8" Chevy truck rallys on it now that I had powder coated.
Yea im a big van guy myself!!!! I drove an 80’s g20 conversion van in HS. Also have a 60’s econoline ford van back in my home state of Illinois. I cant wait to get this van turned into my daily driver.

its got a 3:08 gear ratio axle and going to keep the fresh TH350 for now. I should get around 14-15 mpg. about as good as you can get without an O.D. trans.
I’ve been waiting for almost 5 months to get my wiring harness/ecm back from the guy who is modifying it and tuning it. Had I known it would take this long i would have just bought a new aftermarket one. It has the drive by wire. I have pretty much everything else sitting on the shelf to do the swap. Sorry for the delay.
@@BrokenWrenches no problem. I have a 1998 Chevy Express 1500. Thinking of doing a swap on it. Not sure just yet to what ? 0411 ecm swap with a 4l80e, or 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 swap. Just not sure yet ?
I have an 89 C1500 that is swapped and getting more and more tempted to swap my 94' G20. This is great to see more people getting these swapped!
Yep. Looking forward to it !!!!! Not anymore difficult than swapping a stock van engine, other than some electrical stuff

I have a 1991 G10 I would love to LS swap mine. I think fuel injection would be better for gas mileage.
You will probably see a big difference. That motor currently in mine and yours is basically 1950’s technology at its core.
Especially since, I currently have a 350 bored 40 over in mine.
Depending on gearing it will probably get around 15-17mpg with the ls
I have 1993 g30 whit 5.7 engine I want to swap to 6.0 engine next year

The grille is off a 78 - 79 year model.
I dunno, its older than i am. i think some of the cheaper work/fleet vans didnt get the quad headlights until later but im not sure.
I have an 83 G30 conversion van. Is it the same dimensions and such like that?
Hello. Im not positive. I believe the G30 has more room around the engine than the g20, I believe because you could order them with diesels.
