I used to suffer with constant blasphemous and intrusive thoughts in general, even while sleeping my dreams were tormented. I was distant from God and barely knew how to pray, I thought I was going crazy and even attempted suicide. It was only after opening my heart and being honest to God that I couldn't do it without him and surrendering I was able to be freed. Learning to pray and going to church, God strengthened me.

Don't give into them or think they are coming from you not in a true way anyways cuz this is what the father of lies want, but don't be afraid of it either sing them away or think of them as a candy that you can spit out. Force yourself to ignore them for only when you give it power it will have power.
Don't worry about it as if you can do something to be disqualified from God's grace and lose your salvation. Once saved you remain saved.
@@alanwatts7822 you can lose your salvation - for if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins- Hebrews 10 : 26 The early Church has always taught us this and this "free grace" stuff isnt true , put your HOPE in Jesus and obey Him or be one of those who say Lord Lord but are cast away becuase you didnt know Him

You have to wake up each morning prepared to stand guard at the door to your mind and do battle with the devil, Saint Paisios pray for us ☦️

I used to worship the enemy and mock God about a year ago due to constant failures in life, which I would bring upon myself and believing I was useless. The Lord supernaturally interrupted this in ways I thought were impossible, but remember, nothing is impossible with God. I was saved roughly two months after reading the Gospels. Honestly, I continue to deal with certain demons even after the Lord supernaturally made many of them just fade away. I have backslidden to some sinful behaviors and at times think I am going insane and despise myself and my flesh. This video puts things into perspective and has actually calmed me down quite a bit so I really appreciate it. All praise and glory to God, in Jesus name! 🙌

This was like as if i was the one asking the questions. Thank you so much for your clarity, I just started reading the bible and going to church. I've been a victim of my own blasphemous thoughts since I was a teenager, I never had a strong role model and I grew up in an unstable environment. I'm 25 now and I'm aware of their destructive nature after giving into them for so many years, but still my awareness and experience is not enough to keep me above water. There are times that I get home after work and I would feel tired from the dreadful battle of fighting temptations all day. I pray to God for strength and confess my sins and my past sins and my weakness as a man but also my desire to change. Sometimes I feel like Its futile and I'm not being heard except for the one in the shadows. Im a dedicated reader of the bible but sometimes I feel like I'm standing on a toothpick above the ocean...it's not easy...

By singing,he means chanting.
Please, do not just speak of dreams alone, but keep explaining them, with the interpretations. It is for each of us, who are aware of this form of communication, to write them down, & study Scripture, with the words of the images we are offered, to read about, & to clarify.
If you have yet to receive the gift of interpretation, ask the Father in heaven, in your closet, through private prayer, & see if He will be faithful to you, for the faithfulness you bear of Christ's prayer instructions, found in the 'gospel'.
If you wouldn't mind, watching the video I have shared, of two dreams sent to me, when I was a teenager, it would really help, to shed more of His light, as to what we are soon to be dealing with, & are, the few of us, who have seen.
Keep in mind, that if a dream or vision, show something more than once, it will happen for sure. If there is only one dream sent, another may have your missing portion. Use the words in His Word, to back up your own, as we are instructed to do, in both the Old Testament, & the New Testament.
All honor, glory, & praise, be to the Father God, & His Son, the LORD of Lords. 🥀
They are just thoughts. God knows your intention. You don’t have to micromanage every little thought. The very action of resisting and pushing away these thoughts promulgates them. Let them all come in and be as horrible as they can be - remember, it gets worse before it gets better, and remember God knows your heart & your intention. You have nothing to worry about. They are only thoughts. God bless.

It's the first Ode from the Akathist service to the Mother of God. A good translation from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America website:
'I shall open my mouth and it shall be filled with the Spirit; and I shall pour out a word to the Mother and Queen; and I shall be seen cheerfully celebrating; and rejoicing I shall sing her miracles.'

What is in this context meant by blasphemous as opposed to "only" sinful? Downright cursing God?
Blasphemy is anything that attempts to mock, demean, or deceive God. It can be very obvious or very subtle. Blasphemy is like an infection, and faith in God is like a ray of light that destroys infectious. That is my own limited understanding. Christ is Risen 🕯

@@brcx1010pro we should never pay attention to our thought, fantasies or suggestions. Most of them come from the demons. I know this is scary but in the Orthodox Church we are always vigilant over the external impressions and thoughts. They are not ours.
We should never identify with our thoughts.
Unlike the Roman Catholics who do not have the same approach

He giving an advice from personal experience, that sometimes if our prayer is unfocused it's fruitful to sing or chant in order to bring back our nepsis (spiritual vigilance) and continue to pray. Of course that the Jesus prayer after the Liturgy is the most powerful prayer we should all use.
NOT RIGHT! Nobody in this world is able to neutrilise or ignore the blasphemous thoughts. If you have these thoughts this means you are chosen. If you have these thoughts these are very good for you indeed because you are able to learn the depths of satan. You are learning plenty things durings this. The purpose is to not make these words enflesh, TO NOT PRONOUNCE THEM!
So what to do when you have such words? ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO DOUBLE UP YOURSELF. AS THOUGH IT WASN'T YOU. IN REALITY ALL BEINGS ARE DOUBLED ALSO. JESUS WHEN HE WAS IN TEMPTATION AND IT IS WRITTEN SATAN TEPMTED HIM INTO THE DESERT - HIMSELF HAD SUCH THOUGHTS. HE WAS CHECKED THREE TIMES AND WHEN HE OVERCAME HIS OWN THOUGHTS HE WAS FINDING THE SNAKES NEARBY, BESIDES HIM - ALL THREE TIMES. AND THAT WAS THE WAY HE UNDERSTOOD WHY FATHER TOOK HIM TO DESERT TO TRY HIM - HE GOT CLEANSED THIS WAY. THE VERY WORDS TO PRONOUNCE DURING THIS TIME ARE: " GET OFF SATAN"! TELL IT TO YOURSELF AND NEVER BE DOUBTFULL YOU ARE TELLING THIS TO SATAN WHICH IS EMBODIED INTO YOU THIS TIME! I SWEAR WHEN JESUS OVERCAME THOSE THREE TEMTATIONS NEVER EVER ANY SATANIC THOUGHT CAME TO HIM. ONLY AFTER THIS HE WAS RIGHTFUL TO SERVE THE FATHER!
