@@skirmich yes you are correct as I own 1 myself but who cares. It’s still so awesome to see it go fast hard core off-roading on the dirt and still do the hard challenging rock obstacles. It truly say a lot about the versatility of the truck. But to your point it was made to rip in the dirt. Still a great video in my opinion.
I feel like Ford missed an opportunity with the Bronco. They already had a desert truck with the Raptor. The Bronco should have been a solid front axle rock crawler to compete head to head with the Wrangler.
I wonder if it would be practical to adapt a Raptor suspension to a Regular cab F150 with the coyote V8? After that all you need is a wide body kit and you’re golden.
Great video gents!! That still shot with both Raptors facing the stars is absolutely stunning! Also, love the articulation shots as well! Every SWW video is such a blast to watch 🤠
Lol man that spot is tight on pickel, we just got back with my new 392. Had no problems with the first rock wall obstacle, we spent 30 minutes through pickel but no damage. Great trail
@@sterlingswildwest I will say tho when I went last it was about as tough as it was for you guys but the first time I went was 2021 and the trail looked completely different it was so much easier and going back for ejs 2023 it was way worse
The trail has gotten harder over the years, from what I understand. It’s rated a 5/10 on onX but Brad from TrailRecon went up there in the rain on his JK on 39s and struggled. Does your Raptor have the 37” tires?
@@sterlingswildwesthoping to get out there one day and run it in my own JLU. No lockers but lifted 3” on 35s and 4.88 gears with rear limited slip. Probably be 37s by the time I get out there. 😂
Awesome trucks! Maybe see if you can lift them 3 inches or so that should definitely help with trails like this but again they are Baja trucks lol glad you are actually going out and enjoying your trucks
@ because the vehicle was not designed for rock crawling and there were several spots that you almost did damage to the vehicles radius arms possibly drive shaft and definitely side steps and bumpers. Using the proper vehicle to the terrain you’re driving is the best option.
Trolls love to cope when fords fail hard. They've been going crazy since the Tremor got embarrassed by the brand new unproven RAM SST up the tfl toaster. There are channels dedicated to Ford engine replacement for a reason.
Great job on taking your Raptor on that trail, but that is one of the easier Jeep trails in Moab. No points deducted for pulling line. When you guys got to the top, did you guys go to the right portion or back tracked the exact route you came in?
Please turn off your God forsaking front and rear sensors, that beeping drove me nuts, it was hard to enjoy the video with all that beeping in the background!
Really cool to see the truck used for what it was meant for and not a garage queen. Awesome video. Great job
Thanks man!
But it wasnt made for this, The Raptor was made for fast off roading ala Baja 1000.

Great video, I take my hat off to you guys because I'd never send my TRX that hard lol.

Ford needs to make a Regular Cab Raptor it’ll be perfect, great video.

What are the red guard things you have installed under the Raptor? they can be seen clearly around 2:49? thanks!

Very impressive for a non rock crawler. Might have been able to place a rock where you winched up in that one place and made it without winching.

Was just there in my 392 no lift on 37's. Had zero issues on this mild trail.

This is why you have to buy an old beat up gen 2 raptor so you don’t have to worry about scraping and denting.
