@@Yooper05 thanks so much man! We’ve had the channel for years posting just a few random videos but didn’t start doing weekly videos till this past July! We’re stoked!
I live in Oklahoma and I always carry a hi lift jack, a shovel and a 20" bow saw. But we have a lot of trees to be used in a variety of ways. I haven't been stranded in 40 years, stuck YES, stranded no.
@sterlingswildwest people have told me that I should write a book about 100 ways to use a tree to get unstuck. HAHAHA I guess that's kinda McGyver-ish.
A follower of your beautiful channel, I would like to buy a Ford F-150, and in Saudi Arabia we have two types of engines: 5.0 V8 and 3.5 V6. Which of the two engines should I buy the 2024 model?
Just get a Pull-Pal. It is fast and easy and has saved my butt countless times in Utah's west desert when a rock or tree is miles away and on top of Utah's mountains in the middle of massive snow fields. I frequently offroad alone and at 65 it's been my insurance that I'll always get home. I always keep supplies in case I don't but it hasn't failed me in 30+ years.
@@twotwentyswift oh man had one of those they are huge and heavy so I actually bought a dead man. Takes up much less room and works better than the pull pal. Check them out!
@ no way I’m watching all that to see if a tire works as an anchor lol sorry but you can’t get more entertaining than that. The rest of the video is just in the way 😂
What is the difference between the 2022 Raptor and the 2024 Raptor other than the external appearance? Is there a difference in the engine, gearbox, suspension system and mechanical systems?
@@qazqaz-kp1xj Yeah! The orange one has a 3.5L twin turbo EcoBoost V6 tuned to 500 horsepower and has single live valve Fox shocks. The green one has a 5.2L Preadator Coyote supercharged V8 with 720 horsepower and dual live valved Fox shocks. Other than those items and the grills the rest of the trucks are the exact same 🙌
@@johnstevens7643 it’s true with 100 to 200 horses. Low range and wet sand are godsends for low horsepower rigs. Rigs over 700 horses traveling in wet sand at 50 to 75 mph is bumpy as heck and your tires catch all the ruts. Kills power and slows you down. Watch the vid where we climbed choke Cherry. Dry as a bone and I crested it at 60mph in 4H 🙌
High horsepower is a pretty ridiculous argument. Lack of throttle control is a much more sound argument. Wet sand is more bumpy, I completely agree, it's also much easier to stay on top of! Yeah wet sand is also heavier but your not having to plow through it as suggested. A couple tips, don't crank the wheel as hard as you can, light steering inputs are better, don't brake hard, if possible don't use brakes, and lastly throttle control, you don't have to use all 700 hp off the launch, roll into it!
Wet sand provides traction and float. Your size of horsepower doesn't matter, lay off the gas leadfoot. Soft sand robs power from your vehicle, wet sand stays together to increase float and traction.
Yeah, if you're off-roading, sure. But if you're not, you're just baking your tire in the sun. Dry rotting one side slowly. I made that mistake once already. Bought a tire cover next day.

Raptor channel off-roading. Jumps. Climbing dunes. Burying truck in sand.
Cybertruck channel off roading. Dirt road.
Should have bought a TRX ?
Most of us smart people don’t leave their spare tire under the truck. They put it in the back end of the truck.
🥴
Well also a smart person would have anticipated being in the dunes by themselves and brought an actual sand anchor with them...😮
