    Dude! You climbed Lance? I descended it once and couldn’t imagine tying to go up! All bare baby-head rocks and zero line. Impressed! I always climb Bull so I can descend bare hare

    If you want to climb and descend, try the Aska and Green Mountain Trail system near Blue Ridge, GA.

    I’m 13 years old and live in Dahlonega, I have 600+ miles on these trails. You have to try going down whoopdedo. Trailforks is wrong about the direction. It has real jumps and is the most fun section out there. You definitely aren’t wrong about lance creek, but is worth the descents out there. Great video👍

      What order of trails would you ride if you were planning on a trip out to Bull Mountain? TIA

    • @eastonmtb2128
      @eastonmtb2128 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@petedivine up bull mountain trail until you get to whoop de dos, ride it down, then either up saddle back trail and down bull mountain trail or back the way you came depending on how much time you have. Both take you to Jones creek dam trail which is really flowy. Then moss creek and Jake mountain take you back to the parking lot

    Is the juice worth the squeeze? Is the ascent worth the descent? This is mountain bikings eternal question.

    Nice video man! A question I have, how many miles do you typically try to ride on day where you travel to a destination? I know it just depends but what mileage makes a trip worth it to you? Wanting to do some trips so trying to get an idea.

    • @_Aitch_
      @_Aitch_  2 года назад +2

      I'd say usually 15-20? I just got this gps watch so it's hard to say for sure. 25 is a long ride and 10 is a good short one. This 17 mile ride wouldn't have been so bad except I was absolutely gassed from Jarrod's Place the day before and didn't get much sleep the 2 nights before.

    Another great vid. I know the trails down are fast, but it didnt look like there was much going on with them. I'm not so sure they were worth the climb. Oh and Taco Bell is bringing the mexican pizza back my man!!! WOOT

    • @_Aitch_
      @_Aitch_  2 года назад +1

      That was sort of my feeling as well. Got cooking a little bit but wasn't very challenging. I'm a $5 Cheesy Gordita Crunch box guy tbh. Never had the pizza but maybe I'll give it a go haha

    • @bermchasin
      @bermchasin 2 года назад

      "Taco Bell is bringing the mexican pizza" ... eventually. :/
      But yeah, those trails looked kinda boring sadly. Good if you just want some exercise, but not if you are into tech or jumps.

    • @Oper8or
      @Oper8or 2 года назад

      @@bermchasin Well they brought it back and then yanked it again. TBH I went back and tried the mexican pizza and it tasted like crap from 3 different places. I'm not advanced enough to say if the trail is good or not. I have to base it on what other people say. I do know the trails around where I live are good, some are REALLY good, but other than that I can't say I'd ride a place without some type of research. Gas is expensive so I'm not going to travel if its not worth it.

      @@_Aitch_black branch is fun but pretty easy. Turner creek and no tell are pretty fun and turner creek is easy to climb if you use fs77. Jones creek dam trail is the connecter between both places and it’s really flowy. Jake mountain trail is good but it is kinda flat.

    for real you need an ebike.. i have a 160e and a sb150. i felt stronger, ride way longer and burn more calories than ever on ebike. when i ride my sb150 it feels like it weighs nothing!! at this point im deciding hard if im gonna keep my sb150.. people that says ebike are for the lazy havent owned a proper ebike. if you stop pedaling that thing wont help you and i run it 80% of the time on eco and it feels almost the same as my sb150 when climbing. put it on trail mode if i wanna ride a local trail after a big ride in the mountains..

      Interesting... I'd love to test one out at least. If they were free I'd 100% own one. It's the money thing that makes them a hard sell for me.

    Nice video man, and super helpful. would you wanna meet at this spot and go ride this exact trail system together? Just moved into the area looking for this type of riding but preferably more gnarly downhill techy stuff where I can find it. Where do you find better descent to climb ratio near this area ?

    • @_Aitch_
      @_Aitch_  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! I like “Bearhoti” in Ellijay, GA. I have a couple videos there. Jarrod’s Place is a sick shuttled bike park in Summerville. That’s probably it really for “good descent ratio”. Had someone comment recently and tell me to check out “Stanley” but idk what or where it is. Also you can look at some of my video playlists to do some research. I have all my videos organized by state

    • @eastonmtb2128
      @eastonmtb2128 Год назад

      The ratio is super bad to climb but you can shuttle up winding stair gap road. There are about 6 unmarked trails that have like -30% grades. They are hard to find, but if you want I can send maps
