A thorough walk of Silvopasture Paddock 1 prior to introducing the piglets.

Paddock one is smaller that many of our paddocks. This will not be an issue because the pigs are still tiny and will not cause a significant disturbance until they can put on some weight. This paddock will introduce the pigs to many new plant species (so far they have only had grass) as well as last year's wallows. They will also get to test out our brand new commercial hog feeder which is designed to increase efficiency and reduce feed waste to near zero.
