IT'S NEVER BEEN EASIER
Budget COB LEDs have been around for a little while now, but they were always somewhat lacking in terms of power. The SL100 could be considered a nice upgrade to the SL60, bringing a bit more oomf to a familiar form factor. Top that off with the increase to luminous efficiency that we've seen in all of Godox's latest LED models and you've got something really special here: A Bowens-mount LED bright enough to be your main light, all at an unbeatable price.
BI-COLOUR OR DAYLIGHT
Select the SL100Bi if you want the ability to adjust your light's colour temperature from 2800K-6500K. Or, go with the more affordable SL100D if daylight (5600K) is all you need.
THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE
You could purchase Godox products somewhere else, but why would you? With Strobepro you get a 2-year warranty included FREE plus the added benefit of Strobepro's industry-leading support. Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary-based service centre.
BOWENS MOUNT
The Bowens mount allows you to shape your light in whichever way you see fit! The SL100 is compatible with all Strobepro modifiers.
WIRELESS CONTROL
The SL100 works with the optional RC-A6 Remote. Or, if you'd prefer, connect it via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet and control your SL100 from the comfortable interface of the Godox Light App! This is especially useful when your light is mounted up high or is otherwise out of reach.
BI-COLOUR
The SL100 can be dialed in from 2800K to 6500K, helping you to get neutral colour when you want it in almost any scene! In a studio environment, set your SL100 and white balance to its middle temperature to take advantage of its maximum brightness.
RUNS COOL
Compared to other types of continuous lights, LEDs won't turn your shooting space into a sauna quite as quickly. The light itself is also fan-cooled to protect its internals and help vent heat out of the back instead of into your softbox or other modifier.
CINEMATIC EFFECTS
Want to mimic a lightning storm, or a flickering television? The SL100 has special effects that any filmmaker will appreciate! Наука
Thank you so much. Mine didn't come with a manual so this was very helpful.
Great video, cheers. Subscribed in first 2 mins. Got ya bookmarked too and insta followed. Just the review I was looking for. Thanks.
thanks man, very helpful, subscribed after the first 5 minets, pure value
Thank you so much
thank u sooo much
Good video. Don’t believe I heard whether this is powerful enough to use with the new optical snoot. If not, which light do I need to use?
Hi Edward,
The Optical Snoot is a power hog. The more power you can put through it, the better. It will work with an SL100, but be prepared to work at higher ISOs.
the brightness for both was advertised for 32100 lux @1m. i wonder if its true or not because every bi color light usually has slightly less brightness than a daylight version. do you notice any differences?
Hi Matthew,
Bi-colour cells can usually match the brightness of their single-temperature counterparts when set to their middle temperature (in this case, around 4700K). These ones are no different there. What's curious about the SL100Bi is that we only observed a very slight drop towards the high end and low end (where you'd usually expect to lose a full stop). At 2800K, we lost about half a stop of light, and we lost even less than half a stop at 6500K.
i am having trouble getting it to flash im not sure if it does
The SL100 is a continuous LED light. It does not flash.
how much time on SL100Bi continuous
Hi Maahesh, could you rephrase the question?
How do I turn on bi color? It stays at 56000 kelvin
Assuming you have the Bi-color version you just turn the dial on the left that says CC/FX. If you have the daylight version you can't change it.
Is this light sl100bi compatible with godox's softbox p120h?
Indeed it is. That modifier uses a Bowens mount-the same mount found on the SL100Bi. If you are in Canada or the USA, you could check out our parabolic softbox of the same size. We are running a nice sale on it, and we back it with a mechanical warranty:

@@Strobepro I mean the light head will give good amount of light through p120h godox soft box?
@@Mohamed.Khoudair From 2-3 feet away, you should be pretty happy with the output from that setup. Further away, you may want something more powerful to keep your ISO down.
