Boarding the spacious A380 aircraft, we settle into the Premium Economy cabin, featuring the over-the-top bling décor which - let me assure you, it’s not that bad in real life. It actually has a certain charm and character to it. I just wouldn’t do it in my own home.
Back to the comfortable cushiony seats and state-of-the-art entertainment systems onboard. Despite minor inconveniences like proximity to the galley and tight legroom when the seat in front reclines, the attentive service from the cabin crew made the overall experience simply delightful.

I Like The Product.Great Trip Report
Thanks for the comment! It was certainly very enjoyable 💯💯
This is an amazing PE product and is rather well-priced. I tried looking at return fares from MEL-LHR and this product on the A380 is a good 30% cheaper than business class on the likes of Air India and China Eastern (both of which, for now, except for lounge access, are not that much better than EK's PE product).
My only gripe remains with the lack of lounge access. I wish it were available for a certain price. I can't justify paying double over an economy fare just for a better seat, while still being subject to the same economy-like ground experience.
Overall, I'd rather cough up the extra points or cash to fly business class on a good airline, or I'd stick to economy. But, if lounge access can be had for a certain price (or if I had status, like you), then I'd certainly pick this PE product.
Thanks for watching and the comparison of this PE with the Business Class products is a very valid call out! In my experience, this is definitely a far superior PE!
Yeah, even for myself, I do wish some airlines (which are outside of my status membership) offer lounge access purchases and for them to manage foot traffic, they could sell x number of passes online for a nominated date of entry. Guess they just don't want the hassle 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for a very nice trip report. Emirates has one of the best PE offerings out there. Only Air New Zealand PE really rivals (and probably beats) it. Video was nicely shot with some great info provided. The music at the begining was a bit much though. Overall very nice. Thanks!
Thanks for your support! I've haven't tried Air NZ for a while, now that you put it this way, I'll have to look into giving it ago.
Yeah I'm thinking of changing to new intro music as well, thanks for your feedback 👏🏻👏🏻
Can't wait to do PE from Melbourne-Dubai and back in January 2025! Counting down the days!
Nice! Sounds like an amazing trip 👏🏻👏🏻
Wow so good that you get first class lounge access included in your premium economy fare............
I got to access the first class lounge because of of Qantas frequent flyer status, not from premium economy fare 🙂↕️🙂↕️
@@navsky yeah I figured that, a little misleading don't you think for people that aren't aware how the lounges systems work. You could have mentioned that in your review, which was good otherwise
Very good point! Thanks for the feedback, will adjust accordingly next time 👏🏻👏🏻
@@navsky Cheers, just to let your viewers know Japan Airlines and ANA do offer business class lounge access to their premium economy passengers and I think the JAL shell seat is much better as the recline doesn't interfere with passengers in front or back of you. The Emirate seats do look plush but not as good as a shell seat in my opinion. JAL also provide champagne for premium economy passengers which Emirates don't. It's all in the details my friend.
Thanks for sharing! Will absolutely include infro that when I fly with them💯💯
If you were flying on Emirates Airlines' premium economy class, how did you get access to their First class lounge???
Very good question! EK has partnership with Qantas so I was able to access their first class lounge using my Qantas platinum status! 🤓
That's a shame as I'm flying this class soon with Emirates and thought we would get access to
Im flying soon , do we get drinks and snacks on demand in premium economy on Emirates
In addition to the meals? If your flight is long enough the yes you certainly do 🍿
@@navsky thankyou for replying
Seat cover on the toilet, Tha's because aircraft toilet flush is always Loud as few users can be scared to flush without covering the Lid!
I see. Never thought of it that way! Thanks for sharing 🙂🙂
