    Ready to start jumping higher as a shorter athlete (5’7”) and being more aggressive in volleyball! I’ve always felt like I could never jump that high, but I’m gonna start training!
    (I think my standing vert is near 23 inches)

    love the videos. Think you and Coach Donny from Elevate Yourself are the Two RUclipsrs i recently have been following the most when it comes to Workout and especially jumping Advice.
    Still trying to get a Dunk on a regulation Rim, have been trying for a while now, not really seeing any progress recently, but will play around more with different Techniques to see if i can get more out of it.

    Do you think it’s possible that ankle mobility could possibly prevent you from lowering early on?

    Greetings Coach TY from San Antonio, TX. Thanks for the tips. I'm using your experience to improve my 13 year old daughter in her second year of club VB. Question, how will a middle blocker use the two step approach compared to an OH or RS hitter? Thanks again Coach TY.

      Micheal, that's great to hear! Middle hitter tends to have a much more compact penultimate stride and linear (feet forward) plant sequence. Key here is being deliberate with the movements and still working to establish and maintain that stable hip height!

    Quick question a random guy that is 6'5 with 36 or 37inch vertical on a 10ft, the head is around the middle of the bottom net?

    • @jumpguyty
      @jumpguyty  3 года назад +1

      That's hard to say. A lot of variables to consider. Best to have it verified by a test on a Vertec if possible. You can estimate if you need to.
